Got the Cioccolato con Caco del Madagascar (basically a chocolate gelato) + Ricotta Stregata (a ricotta flavor) in a cone. It was a really lovely combination and so perfect for a hot day.

Outdoor seating set out on the stone street fronts with a cream and wood color scheme and table umbrellas for shade. The store interior shouts classic European emporium, warm, medium-tone wooden display fixtures and wall paneling with mirrors and glass. A handful of golden chandeliers and pendant lights. Most importantly--many glass displays of pastries, cakes, chocolates, cookies. The staff is forthcoming and friendly, ready to help when I mentioned looking for a snack without certain ingredients. Their English was much better than my (non-existent) Italian. I ended up purchasing a little bag of almond cookies €6, with a texture between almond cake and marzipan, baked in little mini cupcake cup shapes. They were tasty though a little on the sweet side. Prices in the store were pretty typical for Amalfi Coast though I think a little higher than average pasticcerias in other Italian cities. What the hell if we ordered Caesar salad, then meatballs, then gnocchi, then seafood with linguine, then the local catch of the day which today was amberjack, then ribeye, then dessert. I'm not alone in my prayer of this restaurant, my wife and my three children are unanimous that this was the absolute best meal that they have had in Italy.
