And give me a break with the drink selection.... If I wanted grenadine or imitation rose's lime mixed with some vodka and pineapple juice, I'd go to a college party and not spend €8 per drink. The "cocktail list" is totally a joke - amateur hour is a compliment for this hot mess. However, some drinks come with gummy creatures, which makes up for maybe €1 of my complaining.

Code Bar put us in for three drinks each. Astonishingly, the bar is running with no menu. I'm sure they could make the classics, but we just told them what we wanted - something served up, a short or a long drink, or any combination of fruity, dry, smooth, acidic, or dairy-forward. No matter what mixture of flavor notes and finishes we threw, they delivered. And they adjusted drinks to our request as we sipped. The mixologists' English is great, too, so don't worry about not being understood.

We came here during a busy Christmas market season and it was just what we needed. The bar is small but cozy and during the winter season it's exactly what you need! There is security in the front but he's welcoming and helpful. My husband noticed the bras on the ceiling which are hilarious but not sure why they are there. The owner was delightful and even made us some of their special cocktails since they couldn't do an old fashioned for us. I did not see food on the menu, but come for a night cap - it's needed after a busy day.

We also got a tiny complimentary bowl of rice cracker snacks to munch on, although I feel like we should have been given more since we were a huge party spanning multiple mini tables. One thing that was uncomfortable was that there were 2 people in our group that didn't want to drink and therefore did not order anything. Even when this was explained, it felt like staff was pushing them to order a drink. We came here in the late afternoon and were the only party there, so it's not like they were taking seats away from paying customers.
