It was just okay. The best thing I can say was that we were greeted warmly. It was great to be away…read morefrom the busy terminal. The bathroom was clean. The seats were comfortable, and there was plenty of seating. There's an outdoor terrace that overlooks the runway. I know what you're thinking. Nope, there's no smoking allowed on the terrace. I thought that was great.
The breakfast was limited. I can only describe it as adequate. It was very basic in terms of taste. The chicken sausage was good. The eggs had a film of water mixed with egg at the bottom of the pan. Nothing really looked great, and nothing was truly warm. The coffee machine was broken. No one seemed happy about that. I guess we hit it on a bad day.
There is a soft drink station with 2 liter bottles and a tiny bucket of ice cubes. Needless to say, the 3 ice cubes melted right away. Lol! However, it did cool off the Coke Zero. I'll give it that. I felt like I was in a different time dimension (England in the 1980s). It's what you'd expect from a pub, but not a premium lounge. Yep, Primeclass needs some work.
Other than that, I found the Zurich Airport to be quite efficient. It's the lounge that needs to step it up to make it an even better experience. Go there to get away from the hustle & bustle of the terminal, but don't expect much in the way of food.
