Absolutely stunning place. This place is huge and definitely a place that should be added to everyone's bucket list. BAPS is definitely a family friendly place because it is a Hindu temple. The architecture is beautiful and crafted so neatly. This temple is huge, there's so much to see and walk through. This was quite the experience!

We got to this temple more through a calling as we have passed this temple umpteen number of times on the NJ Turnpike and wanted to visit this some day. As you arrive at this temple, you realize what you have seen from Turnpike is only a tip of the iceberg. This temple is just humongous in size with beautiful lightings and has a massive parking area. The temple has tall columns that are intricately designed and built. Enter and you will find a divine atmosphere with the deities. This is one of the Swaminarayan temples that has men and women divided between two sides while worshipping. They have a marketplace with a lot of gifts, snacks and readymade food items and a canteen which was not open while we were there. read more

the interiors were really good and it was nicely maintained however I request baps temples to prohibit phones in the prayer room. There was a huge crowd of people who were in a line to seek prayers and blessings however a huge percentage of that chunk were standing there just to click pictures which didn't let people who really wanted to pray to either wait a long time or walk from behind without seeing the gods. It's a genuine request for these temples to prohibit phone in the prayer room. Please take this seriously and Please take this in action read more

Wow ! Amazing architecture and superbly built mandir. It's just so so good. The sculptures are amazingly done . Looking at the massive architecture outside , the temple inside is simple ... they have a hall of dieties and it's great. The food stall and marketplace was bigger than the main hall. They have some really good stuff to eat and we got some authentic gujarati delicacies. Lots of parking outside . Overall a good place of worship... read more

The deities are sculpted in a South Indian style and you find some of the deities in forms, you don't find in other temples - Pancha mukha Ganesha and pancha mukha Shiva. The main deity Shirdi Sai Baba is placed on the center of the temple and looks regal. The temple seems to be supported well by volunteers and staff and offers free prasad (food offering) generously. The parking space outside is generous and easily accessible from behind India Grocers.

Be careful when you purchase anything from this temple. The credit card machine is so very bad and slow that it hangs in between and then if receipt does not come out they make you swipe the credit card again this 2 transactions take place. Then to convince them is an issue. Cupcakes have been reduced in size and price increased doubly. Overall snacks too have become expensive read more
