HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT!!!!! Very similar to Melissa, Tim, and Kathy's experience..... Ok, so I didn't feel as though they were dishonest as much as had absolutely no thought or intention to following through with actual quality of service in their business. I am a kinesiologist that works as a 1099 employee supporting other health practitioners. I entered into a contract agreement with Banyan in order to boost my clientele in an independent office I was working in. Upon the 2nd phone meeting during the first month, two things occurred: A) The independent office I was working with closed and I moved into a position working within another office that precluded me from advertising my own personal business as this would be a conflict of interest. B) When I spoke with my 'online coach', Emily, I explained that the activities she needed me to do to make their system work (taking pictures of my clients several times per week while trying to treat and coach them at the same time) would not work within my work flow and resources....I do not have a receptionist or my own brick and mortar building. She bluntly explained 'You'll just have to figure it out. That's the way it works.' with no further questioning or explanation. BTW, a solution may have been available for this had she been willing to work with me and not just demand I followed these instructions at the detriment of my own services. This level of service rendered Banyan's marketing services completely ineffectual for me. I sent an email (still during the first month) explaining these two things and stating that I would, accordingly, not be utilizing their services any longer. I had paid for the month that I used and ceased payment for the rest of the year. While I do understand that I was under a contract, that is with the understanding that they are offering the quality of service originally sold....which of course, they were not. I felt like I bought a used car that broke down 2 weeks after I got it off the lot. Ask yourself, if the coaching and online service are good enough for people to keep using it, why do they need a contract for a year? Shouldn't you pay willingly without the contract to keep utilizing these services if they are valuable to your business? I would not recommend this company for social media marketing!! Do not sign any contracts! They will not fulfill all the promises they make in the sales presentation. The turnover there is high and their team is not properly trained. It seemed as thought the left hand did not know what the right hand was doing. They told you what you wanted to hear with minimal follow through. The don't respond quickly to call or emails ( 48 hours) and also they miss training calls. Our experience was very similar to Melissa C. in previous review. They trick you into signing longer contracts when making a changes to existing ones. We were duped with this marketing company. Do Not Sign A Contract with Go Banyan Social Dental Company. After deciding our dental office could use some marketing help we decided to look at the two main Social Dental Marketing companies. Ultimately we decided Social Dental/ Banyan was the company for us. We were a little concerned about starting a contract with them but we were assured that they still earn our business every month and with the monthly coaching and the app development that we would receive the professional services promised. We started the service in October 2016. By December I was already sending messages via facebook that it was hard to see their posts about how carefree their working environment was because my coaching calls had not been being made. I stressed that the coaching calls are why we signed up in the first place, and they switched me over to another coach and assured me this wouldn't happen again. They continuously didn't make our coaching calls so much so that I contacted the company's supervisors again on January 2nd, explaining to them that I had 1 coaching call since October when we started the service. Again, I was promised regular coaching calls and the service that we had been sold. I was getting so frustrated I know we are all busy but I realized very quickly that the coaching calls were a bogus service. They didn't teach much of anything at all. Most the tricks that I didn't know about I brought to their attention and they claimed yes they did know that you can invite people to like your page when they like posts on your page. Banyan instructs you to get the patient's review while they are in your office sitting in the dental chair, later we found out that when review companies get multiple reviews with the same IP address that they don't publish them. Are you kidding me? I brought this to their attention and of course they knew that. The instruction is bogus and wrong and by May 2nd we decided that we wanted out of our contract. That we had been taken for enough money and are done with Social Dental / Go Banyan Company. I wrote the cancellation email to their main info email as my trainer and his supervisor had no longer made themselves available. They had again contacted me about how sorry they are and that they are trying to better their service, and asked if I give a new trainer another chance, which I had denied and then transferred me to Lorin the only guy that can cancel our service. I spoke with Lorin about how terrible their communication is and how disappointed we are, he was to cancel our account. I have been very clear to everyone in this company that we are done, they didn't deliver on the promises and services they sold us. I left Lorin 3 messages to get confirmation of our cancellation and to no surprise no call back again. I called and left multiple messages on their main voicemail. How do you communicate with a company that refuses to honor your cancellation? My disappointment level is through the roof. Now this just feels like a scam. Today June 28th, 2017 I find out that there are no notes of cancellation that we show as an active account. I am so unbelievably disappointed and furious in this company. They are the furthest thing from professional. They are con artists. Selling a service that they know they can't deliver on and therefore need to hold you to your contract. - Go with their competition that earns your business every month with no contract because Go Banyan / Social Dental cannot and will not deliver on this. They claim today they will terminate our service on our contract date in October 2017. Do not sign with Social Dental / Go Banyan they are truly a terrible company that traps you in their contract and will not let you out peacefully. Update: They did not terminate our contract for 5 more months and kept charging our practice, after lots of paperwork they finally returned over $4,000.00 in fees they collected after they claimed they would cancel in October. Don't waste your time. Useless. I requested a cancellation and they didn't honor it because they only opened the email a month later and said that the contract automatically renewed. Couldn't get support to ever call me. I would AVOID!!!! read more

We signed up with banyan a year ago. They never delivered on their promises. They also auto renewed our contract with no notice. They are a dishonest company. Avoid at all costs. read more
