Mattress fine except for usual body dips on pillow top. But a squeak in the springs annoying and no help with warranty. NOT COVERED! Why not? No good answer and adding insult to injury had to pay $50 for the warranty inspection. Won't see me again nor any referrals. Banner Day. Only a few years and got rid of the bed! I received a flyer in the mail in March & liked the deals. I was sick of my $300 mattress, even though I spent so much $ on extra's to make it comfortable. My Bed has always been so Important to me since I was a kid & I'm even more OCD about it being perfect now... Well, I did it, I went in there, & let me tell you..Aaron Spurgeon is the Man! I know their is a mattress store on every corner here and I was determined & very eager to have a Bedding Professional really meet my needs & not be wishy washy. He met them & accommodated my picky wishes. I couldn't decide between 2 mattresses...Foam or the pillow top I was always used to. I am so indecisive & I kept laying back and forth on both of them. Well, I got the foam(DO NOT get the foam if you are not getting the Temper pedic, I repeat, they aren't good, they are hard and do not fit/form to your body if you do not spend the Buco $bucks$ to get a good one). A month later I went back in there and paid a little bit more for the pillow top that i originally should have bought. I am in LOVE and VERY HAPPY and sleep Amazing through the night! The mattresses are ok but customer service is terrible. This is the second time I've had a major fail on delivery. This time they delivered 2 different bases for the King bed we ordered. And they arrived at 8pm when Victor said the delivery times were between 9-5. They've since broken 2 promises on when the correct frame will delivered and we are still waiting. Substandard, unprofessional, hands-off when it comes to the warranty. Had a problem with Simmons Beautyrest after 5 years on a 10 year warranty. Salesmen at the store refused to handle it. Said I had to contact the "Warranty Department" at a location in Riverside, CA, and send in a bunch of forms, take a load of measurements of the depression of the mattress, wait at least 4-8 weeks, and to top it off pay a non-refundable $50 to have someone come and look at it. Like another reputable firm would do, they should have taken my receipt and warranty forms, sent a professional to take all the measurements, and see that the mattress was clearly defective. Then live up to their original stated and written so-called 10 year warranty. When I asked for a manager, the salesmen told me they do not have a manager at that site. I asked for a business card, he said they do not have business cards, which I found all hard to believe. It is hard to even say that the experience was "bad" customer service. Driver arrived with my mattress and started to unload it when he discovered it was the wrong mattress.Was told it will be delivered tomorrow. I had taken off work to wait for the mattress to be delivered today. I called the store in Cathedral City to let them know the trouble I had gone to plus paying the delivery fee. It's always great to find wonderful sales people who actually care about you. Our experience in store was great, but afterward it was really special. We had a bed delivered to my elderly mom's house last week and because of a mix up, she didn't have the delivery guy assemble the frame. We recently purchased a mattress and platform (formerly known as the box springs) from this Banner outlet in Cathedral City ,CA. The platform is key....The salesman was good about explaining the various types of mattresses and platforms. We tried several and settled on the Amalfi. We went over what we needed SEVERAL TIMES: a mattress, a platform and then we also purchased a mattress cover. When we checked out, the sales person found that no mattresses were in stock, so it had to made for us. Not a problem. He, again, stated that we purchased a mattress, a PLATFORM and mattress cover. In fact, he restated that it was called platform and not a box springs. Did this twice. We paid for our items and left the store. Upon receiving our purchase a few days later, we found that no PLATFORM was delivered. When we looked at the receipt., we saw that it was not included ....unless it had been included in the mattress price...it wasn't. We then had to make several calls to various people to find out what happened. Since we distinctly heard our salesperson state...mattress, platform and cover, more than a couple of times...we expected to get just that. Upon calling the various people, both at the store and the factory/corporate headquarters, we were told that we would have to speak with the salesperson...who, of course, was not in that day. We were told that we could get a platform delivered but it would be 3 more days before it would arrive. In the mean time, we do what with the mattress? Since, we felt that the salesperson had led us to believe that we had purchased EVERYTHING we needed, we expected to get it all. After the frustrating calls and run around...I never heard so many people echo the old Richard Nixon..."let me tell you this about that"... routine....we finally got some results. On top of all of this...we were also told that we had not paid for the platform with the mattress but that we now owed another $184 on top of the $1600+ we already gave them. We insisted, and they finally relented, and decided that they could deliver a platform to us the next day, not 3 days later. Part of it was our fault in thinking that the costs might have been covered under the mattress price...part of it was their fault for not double checking to make sure that they did include everything as needed. The mattress is well made and very comfortable. The young men who delivered the mattress, and then, those who delivered the platform were very nice and extremely helpful and capable of doing their job and honest. We did appreciated that. Will we do business with Banner again? NO. Do they need to train their sales people better in making sure that everything is expressly written out on the receipt so there are no questions should there be a mistake? Yes, they do. read more

Nice knowledgable people! Bought an adjustable queen bed and only wish I had known I could get shorter legs! The standard is nine but makes bed high for my pups.
