Rob and his staff are focused on my issues as opposed to other PT offices where the staff is discussing their personal lives and ignoring the patient. 3. I love the family vibe at this branch. 4. The facility is bright and cheerful, the staff is happy and the exercise equipment is new and in working order (unlike the Gilroy branch which needs some TLC). What I'd like to see improve: I have found another place in town that I like better because I get more time from the actual physical therapist as opposed to PT assistants. That said, Rob's aids are great and I really like the family atmosphere and caring at this facility, so I'd say they come in at a close second.

I will have to drive there to make a copay payment that did not process bc the machine was not working. That part is annoying. And ultimately I am switching providers bc making an appointment here is virtually impossible. But if you make the appointment in person, then it's smooth sailing.

The therapy sessions they provide are exceptional, never rushed, and specifically geared for each unique situation. You truly feel cared for as an individual. Even though our insurance did not cover them 100% the investment was absolutely worth it! They are extremely professional, highly skilled, and stay up to date with the latest technologies and treatments. The office (Priscilla) is also very friendly and helpful. I had a full ACL replacement and meniscectomy done after an accident... Six months of immobility…read more[before and after the surgery] brought my right leg to a state of complete atrophy... I was seriously considering being disabled and limping till the rest of this life... Then I went to Fritter & Schulz [F&S]... Initially they had to fire up my muscles with electrodes to make them move, and developed the exercise routine to start me on the way to recovery... I've started my therapy with Earl, and overtime worked with Dave and Kelly... These people really impress me with their deep knowledge of the human anatomy, the function and placement of every bone and ligament, and their ability to facilitate the recovery of the injured body parts... The progress in my case was very slow and very painful... But I was working really hard, an hour at a time, at least twice a week... After three months, my insurance was done covering the PT, but luckily there is an independent gym program at F&S, where for a few bucks I could continue doing my exercises on my own... I've been doing this "independent gym" twice a week for 1.5 years now, and yesterday I've graduated... I decided that now - thanks to the great staff and facility at F&S - I have formed a solid habit of a regular work-outs and have enough discipline to continue on my own... I strongly recommend these people and this office - it feels like family, and as long as I have been part of it - you really learn about the people... Good, kind, fun people, who provide so much support and guidance to whoever comes through the door with whatever pain and fear of never being able to have a healthy life again... They give you hope and methods to achieve your goals... Deep gratitude!.. I was trying to schedule physical therapy for my uncle following his upcoming full knee replacement surgery on May 22. His referral was sent from Stanford on May 5, and after hearing nothing from the office, I spent days calling, leaving messages, and trying to follow up with no return calls. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was told they never received the referral fax. I contacted Stanford and had the referral resent the same day. After trying to call back later to confirm receipt, no one answered, and again my message was not returned. Today I called again and was told they still had not received the newly sent fax, but somehow the original referral from May 5 was found in their "junk mail," which was confusing since it was faxed over. After all of this back and forth, I was then told there was no appointment availability until the end of June, even though my uncle is supposed to begin physical therapy next week after surgery. This experience was extremely frustrating and stressful, especially when trying to coordinate important post-surgical care for a family member. Because of the delays, lack of communication, and scheduling limitations, I now have to take my uncle to another physical therapy office in Gilroy, which is inconvenient since I live in Hollister, have a young child, and am helping care for my uncle. I understand offices can be busy, but better communication, follow-up, and scheduling support would make a huge difference for patients trying to arrange time-sensitive care.

About a month ago, I finally decided to do something about the back pain I'd been living with since…read more2020 after injuring myself while lifting a piano. For years, I honestly believed this was something I'd have to live with for the rest of my life. I'm only 28 years old and have a family of four. After reviewing my X-rays, I was told my back looked more like that of a 45-year-old. I'd been dealing with this pain since I was 22, and it affected almost every part of my daily life. Standing in one place for just 15 minutes would put my pain at a 9 out of 10. Some days were better than others, but on the bad days, all I could think about was not being able to be as active with my kids as I wanted to be. Today, just three weeks into treatment, my pain has dropped to about a 2 out of 10. The sharp, constant pain has turned into a mild, dull ache, which I've been told is a normal part of the healing process from the spinal decompression machine. The doctor believes that by eight weeks, my pain should be completely gone, and I truly trust his expertise. I only wish I had known about Crossroads sooner. The entire team has been knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely committed to helping me recover. If you're dealing with back pain and feel like you've run out of options, don't give up hope. My experience has shown me that healing is possible, and in my case, it didn't require surgery. This review is for in home PT services with Saher. Saher visited our home to work with my two…read moreelderly friends. I oversee their home and care. Saher is very caring, but her shortcomings far outweighed her attributes. She admitted to being disorganized; claiming that remembering appointments and important rules of our home were too difficult for her. With indoor pets and two elderly residents; safety is of the utmost importance. The rules of our home are set up to maintain safety and are very simple. She was often unfocused and spent the scheduled appointment time socializing rather than providing the services for which she was hired. I was greatly disturbed by her care of my elderly friend who is physically the more compromised of the two. She asked him to help her set up a heavy and cumbersome massage table, compromising his safety! This was very dangerous for him and she was aware of his limitations prior to requesting his assistance. With her expertise, she should not have enlisted his aide for such a task. If she cannot manage such tools independently, she should not be using them. The most upsetting incident that happened with Saher is when she let my elderly friend fall WHILE doing PT with him. This was irresponsible and negligent. Her scope of duties is to ensure that the exercises are done as safely as possible and within the reasonable ability of the client/patient. Upon subsequent visits she started soliciting me to help with the exercises. I am not a trained Physical Therapist and I was busy with my own tasks. She should have brought help, planned and executed more appropriate activities and/or avoided exercises that required two people to manage him. Lastly, we received numerous invoices 5-6 months after we had ceased working with her. She was astonishingly disorganized with her paperwork; which caused me an unreasonable amount of extra work to research and cross reference her invoices. They were out of order, some were already billed, some were unclear, some were from her forgetting to bill. It was very confusing. It saddens me to have to leave this review. Unfortunately, the care we received from Saher was not the quality that I expect from an out of pocket PT and I ultimately found her to be unsafe for my friends. That in conjunction with her unprofessionalism has prompted me to leave this review.
