We had dinner here tonight and it was great!!
Last week we bought a house on the small development opposite this restaurant and decided tonight to go across to Clayton le Woods to check out the surrounding area. We had a couple of beers in two local pubs first (look for those reviews) and then to here for dinner.
Its a large place by Indian standards probably about 100 covers or so. We were seated as soon as we arrived which isn't my favourite but they dont really have a bar area to have a drink and check out the menu.
The service was good but too quick and that's why they lost a star. Don't take away the papads plate whilst we are still chewing the last bite, don't pounce on me the split second I finish my beer to see if I want another. I'm sure the guys meant well but somebody needs to train them a little better.
However they are still 4 stars for an outstanding meal of chicken madras, Lamb masala, dhall, rice and bread.
Came to the princely sum of 35 quid, I'm sure that's great value.
Try it , you will be glad you did, just slow down guys!! read more
