He wasn't sure they had a comic series I was looking for in stock. He looked it up on the computer and went down to the basement to get me the issue I was looking for. I also enjoyed the zine wall as this allowed me to browse local comic artist creations that you would not usually find. I wish I lived closer to this shop. One of the best comic book shops I've visited.

Small section of wall books behind the counter already shows great promise with some mega keys from the the golden/silver/bronze/copper age. New books section has all the latest you'd expect, plus an accessories section with some great deals on bags & boards. The gaming section looked hopping with several locals getting their game on. When the store got quiet, you could the the roll of the twenty-sided dice which brings back memories. All in all, they're starting out and already show great enthusiasm, promise, and might I add the gentlemen working the counter are quite friendly. No AC as it's a super old building I think from the 1800s one of the last commercial storefronts. Has such charm. Very close to glen park. Can get ice cream then walk in the park to see the waterfall.

I've been to shops before where you get chastised for not coming often enough or not ordering enough books, but this spot feels like home no matter how long you're gone or how little you buy. Plenty of great recommendations come from not just the owners but other customers as well. I feel like every time I walk in the door I know I'll have a good conversation. Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

The Shop They are located right on Lundy's Lane with parking in the back, its only a couple of spots but there is a shopping center across the street so there are plenty of places to park. The shop is clean and well organized so it is easy to find what you are looking for. The Selection They carry all the new pulls each week. I have never had a problem getting the new stuff when it comes out. They also have a large selection of hardcovers is that's what your looking for. On top of the comics they have all sorts of toys, statues and collectibles. The Staff The staff at Big B are great. They are very knowledgeable and eager to help. They are also very passionate about comics and can be easily lured into in-depth discussion about character or series. Also, they are always around, I have never had to go looking for someone which is really nice.

I was caught up on my regular comic books but found a good stack of other ones I had been meaning…read moreto check out. We spent about twenty minutes choosing books and went to cash out. Went to hand over my card and without missing a beat in his phone conversation the guy says "no plastic". I'm thinking "oh wow okay contactless pay only is intense but i totally get it" and pull up my Apple pay. Still on the phone: no. Cash only. Us: wait. Really? Okay uh do you have an atm Still on phone: no. Whoever he was on the phone said something along the lines of: "you really have to start taking them" because he said "nope. Not doing it. Cash only" He wasn't wearing a mask but he was also on the phone the whole entire time so I didn't even notice until we were like "uh okay. Well bye" If you are going to only take cash and don't have an atm at least put a sign on your door saying "cash only". Most people will see it, head over to an atm, and come back to buy something. If it was ten years ago it wouldn't be a thing, but I don't think I have had cash on me in at least two years.
