Bamby's is the real deal! I LOVE THIS PLACE. Every time I visit Carlsbad and make a stop here, I bring home a plant that thrives long-term. I purchased a $25 small guava tree!! They also had much larger fruit trees that my car, unfortunately, could not carry. To my surprise, Bamby's also has niche plants like purple shamrocks - I rarely see them at most plant shops and nurseries. I snagged a nice purple shamrock for $20. With Bamby's being a flower shop, they had a beautiful selection to choose from at a reasonable price. I got two bouquets of fresh, high quality flowers for $10 each!! Overall, Bamby's is a great garden center, nursery, and flower shop. I hope they continue to thrive and succeed! I recommend others to stop by to see if there's a new plant friend you'd like to take home! read more

Bamby's Flowers - Such a cute spot!!! - Florists Near Me - Carlsbad, California

Was across the street at Lofty coffee and needed to get flowers for my mother in law, so it was perfect this flower shop was across the street. And they allow dogs! Decided on a plant because my in-laws were going out of town for a few days. My husband picked out a succulent type plant and I saw this pretty pink bromeliad type plant. When I looked it up, turns out it is a Wallisia cyanea or Pink Quill and has purple flowers that bloom. For $12 I thought that was a great price. They even made it nice and trimmed off some of the dead leaves. In about a week the purple flowers bloomed. It's so pretty!! Now I want one for myself! :) Will be back! read more

AMAZING service and I needed a last minute floral arrangement. I had a dinner reservation and only had 10 minutes. They created the most beautiful bouquet, and placed it in a vase for me, all in 5 minutes! I was so grateful for their efforts and not to mention how beautiful this bouquet is! Extremely affordable too. Can't praise them enough! read more

Such a lovely place. So much beautiful plants and flowers. The staff was stern but helpful. The options of so many plants and flowers was just perfect. We even found a Bonsai tree. Just beautiful. The prices are reasonable too. Recommended this flower shop to you guys! read more

Bamby's Flowers is a very nice local shop. I lived here for a couple of years before I noticed them--the shop is set back from the road and their sign didn't grab my attention. Their selection of flowers has always been big enough for me to find what I want, and the quality has always been outstanding. There is good parking, making it easy to zip in, buy flowers, and zip out. I pay more attention to the flowers than to the sales person, so I don't actually know if I've dealt with the same person each time I've been there, but I've had good service on every visit. They like to be paid in cash, but these days I guess everyone does. The prices are low enough that I've always found enough cash in my wallet. Hm. Now that I think about it, I could use a bouquet on the table near my front door. read more

What a cute little find on our way to dinner at Campfire in Carlsbad tonight!! They have beautiful bouquets that you can buy or they will make you a specialty bouquet. We walked through the nursery and it's bigger than it seems they have a lot of succulents The prices are reasonable and it's great to be spontaneous and buy something to take home. The car thanked us because it smelled so good! read more

The service is great here they made me a beautiful bouquet of flowers right on the spot and the people working here are very friendly

This review is long overdue. My family and I have been happy customers of Bamby's Flowers for years. Even my Mom who lives in the East Coast uses them to send flowers to her grandchildren. Both of my kids wore Bamby's leis for their graduations; they were freshly made and ready for pick up the day of their ceremony. The outside location has something for everyone. Whether you need a fairly priced beautiful bouquet, a plant, or succulents, you will not be disappointed with their selection. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My parents, who both have mobility issues, parked in the handicap-designated spot with their valid placard, only to be rudely confronted by the staff. Instead of politely addressing any concerns, the woman yelled at them as if they were doing something wrong. We were told we needed to move the car because we were going to multiple business on the street and not just the flower shop. This goes against California law, and can result in an ADA lawsuit. Completely unprofessional and downright disrespectful. No one deserves to be treated that way--especially not senior customers just trying to support local businesses. I'll never support this business again. read more

We have so much fun here. Every time we come, the hubbies and most of the kids are at pure project, while me and my girlfriends are seeing what kind of house plants and succulents we can buy here. This time around, I ran into the store cat named Luna. My girlfriend ended up buying a bunch of succulents, very affordable at $3.50 each for anything on this certain table. They have beautiful flower bouquets you can buy or have them custom made by the in-house florist designer. read more

This business is very selective when placing orders. They only pick people they think would pay. I been a regular for years but whenever Ill try to place a special order, im usually denied. I witnessed when I went to purchase flowers, a well dressed person shows up ask a special order and they were promised same day and it was Valentines day. For mothers day I ask them on three days notice and was denied, not once but two years in a row, last year I ask 1 week before and still denied suppposedly fully booked. read more

Buyer and shopper beware. Wow. We've bought a lot from Bamby. My wife and I found a small cactus and didn't have our truck. The guy running the back told me $45. I brought my truck back a few days later. Now the same cactus is $75. The guy helping us was not there. When I explained this to the woman working she said "you should have bought it then."Nice customer service, smart ass. I couldn't, I didn't have my car. It would be a good idea to have your plants clearly marked with a price. I'm inclined to always take my business elsewhere. Too bad. I love supporting small businesses. read more

Run! Don't walk. This place is so cute and the couple running the place is so sweet. When making my arrangements they had attention to detail and were so helpful. The variety of plants and succulents were endless and the prices were reasonable as hell. I will be back. read more

Visited during the Carlsbad Street Faire 2019. This is a small flower-succulent shop which can be accessed from State street or from the back alley. There's more parking lot than garden items here, but what they do have is affordable and interesting. It's mostly items for smaller garden spaces, but there are plenty of gift options too. As for the staff, some people have been dissatisfied with their service. They seemed friendly enough, tho they will shadow your every move if you're in the back garden. We chose a succulent dog as a gift for a teacher. read more

Cutest little spot to shop for your newest plant pet! They have a beautiful selection of plants ranging from succulents to those unique Marantaceae ( prayer plants) to fig trees and many more! You can also pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers for that special someone! The outdoor plant are is large enough to feel like you're walking through an enchanted secret garden but not too big where you feel like you're walking through a forest and don't know what plants to take a look at anymore. It's nicely situated in downtown Carlsbad, so after you've eaten too much at one the restaurants, why not take a stroll here, burn some of those calories off and pick out a plant that will provide more oxygen around your home! Quick and easy, beautiful arrangements. I was working in San Diego, and on my way back home from work I stopped at Bamby's in Carlsbad to grab a bouquet for my girlfriend. I asked for a full dozen of roses and they already had a beautiful bouquet precut. They wrapped it in brown paper for me and it only cost me around $32.00 total. The roses were vibrantly red, and all were beautifully blooming. The folk working there were very helpful and nice to me when I got there. They got me in and out quickly while providing me good customer service! Will definitely be stopping by again when Im in the area! read more

They always have. Stargazers which is what I always buy. They are conveniently located and have god hours

So rude! I couldn't believe it. My family was greeted with a scowl and watched, which I'm guessing is because we had a toddler. My son has excellent behavior and was simply excited to see a flower shop. After purchasing a bouquet for a grieving friend, I asked if I put the card in the plastic stand correctly and was told that we would have to pay next time if we used more than one card (I used two note cards because their pen splattered on the first letter I wrote). Whatever man - here's 5 cents for your tip. read more
