This restaurant is located in the Parx Casino next to the Xcite Center. It is convenient to grab a bite after a concert as most people are heading out the doors to leave and we have a long drive. We ordered spring rolls, pork dumplings, lo mein and spicy crab rolls. Service was slow considering we were the only ones in the restaurant and it was 2 hours from close. We came to buy some concert tickets and we happen to stay for a bite to eat! I ordered an eel roll. It was beautiful and artsy! Absolutely delicious but it was very tiny so I had to order something else. I ordered the fried rice and it was so sinfully delicious I really loved it and I would give it 10 stars also.!! I never have a love affair when I dine at this time. Full disclosure, their soups remind me of a glorious time when I indulged at the Pagoda Noodle Cafe in Old City, Philadelphia. Pagoda Noodle Cafe had such beautiful yam noodles, shrimp wontons', you name it. The last time I had the soup here it did not have a lot of flavor and is not cheap. Most recent drop in I had the chicken and shrimp egg rolls. Comes three to an order at $10.50 after taxes. Has a deliciously sweet duck dipping sauce and the egg rolls are quite tasty. They are lightly fried and go down easy. Problem is, and this may be just me when I eat fried foods but the taste lingers in your mouth hours afterwards and certainly does not may you feel healthy imo. All casinos need an Asian noodle option and this one is about average. Interesting side note, you can find some unique options here and there on their menu, as I got fish guts soup once here. I wanted to try it as I had never indulged but it certainly wasn't my fav, if you do try it, it is recommended by those that frequently eat it to add hot sauce or vinegar. This little spot is inside of the Parx food court. It's a nice change of pace, considering the other restaurants, (which are fast food), in the food court share "community" seating. Where as Bambu Noodle House has its own private seating. You have to wait to be seated. The restaurant is clean and there is good spacing between tables. The dining area is about the size of the food court dining area. Chinese, Asian and Cantonese cuisine are the main players here. My wife and I decided to grab a bite to eat after donating money to the Parx Casino. My appetizer was the Pork and Shrimp shu Mai. Main course was the House Special Lo Mein, pork, chicken and shrimp. Thai Iced tea to wash it all down. Prices won't beat you up too bad, unless the casino has cleaned you out. There was one hostess working, she was able to keep up. Our food arrived about 10 minutes after we placed our order. Cash/Credit/Debit are accepted here. Not sure about Apple/Google/Samsung pay. If you are at Parx Casino and you have a hankering for some top notch sushi, this is your spot. We stopped in to this beautifully decorated restaurant to partake in their Happy Hour specials which featured some specially priced drinks and sushi rolls. You have to be at the bar to get the specials which is no problem for us as we love to eat at the bar, always fun. This particular visit was made even more fun as our bartender, Ivan, was super nice and couldn't have been any more welcoming. He also makes some great Lychee Martinis which was one of their 3 specially priced drinks. For our food specials we went with all 4 that were offered, the Two Timing Salmon Roll, cured salmon, cucumber, topped with fresh salmon and avocado - the Rainbow Roll, spicy tuna, cucumber, topped with tuna, salmon, yellow tail and avocado - the Spicy Tuna Roll, spicy tuna - and the Pork & Shrimp Potstickers, pan fried with a soy glaze. All 4 of these offerings were amazing ! The sushi was super fresh and melted in your mouth. We liked the Two Timing Salmon Roll the best, so much so, we had to order another one. At the suggestion of Ivan, we also tried an app from the regular menu, the Bacon & Shrimp Roll and boy were we glad we did, so unique and delicious. This was our first time at this spot and we can't say enough nice things about it. Henry, the manager here, even came out to talk with us and make sure we enjoyed everything. Such a nice guy. If it weren't for the three of us friends catching up at the same time we were waiting to be waited on, we would have left way before the fifteen minutes we sat at the bar, and in front of the sushi chefs, before one of us had to go ask someone to help us. Even at that, a server did not come over until about five minutes after said request. The restaurant was not so busy that we just got lost in some mad rush, nor was the bar so busy that the bartender couldn't have noticed us; we should have at least been addressed by the bartender, who was serving a woman just three seats from us. Speaking of the bar, the drinks took forever, as well. The first round took another 5+ minutes, and the second round (beer and a vodka soda) came out separately, with the beer coming out in a few minutes this time. But, with the vodka/soda taking about ten. It took so long for the drink, we assumed the server forgot, so decided we were just going to ask for the check if we ever saw her again. I was about to go say something when she finally reappeared again, and with the drink in hand. Finally. Of course, it was missing the requested lime garnish. I spent a decade in the business, so with a floor manager, busser, runner, bartender, two sushi chefs, and seven other staff members, four of whom were definitely servers, there was zero excuse for the service delays with the light volume of clientele at the time. As for the sushi, I have never had such a small rainbow roll. It reminded me of the rolls I see when I'm in a typical, chain grocery store. It's fine. I went when it wasn't very crowded so service wasn't an issue, our waitress was very nice and talked with us about the menu a little. The potstickers were good, I'd get them again. The other courses were just regular Asian dishes very similar to something you'd get at any run of the mill takeout place. I would have liked quite a bit stronger flavor and more intense spice level, but there was nothing wrong with the food. I wish I had something better to say about Bambú noodle house. The service was good, but the food was just okay. My boyfriend and I found ourselves in a pickle the other day at around 11pm-- all of the diners in the area are no longer 24 hours and we were hungry for more than Taco Bell. We knew the casino had restaurants that are open late so we gave Bambu a try. Like I said, nothing horrible to say, all the food was pretty visually, but okay at best. I understand that most of the clientele is older, but I wouldn't sacrifice flavor to become a bland restaurant for older individuals. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Great place to enjoy a quick lunch/dinner. Although the food are quite pricey, the Chinese foods are great. My favorite is the crispy roast duck. It's about $33 for half of a duck. The skin is super crispy and the meat is very flavorful and juicy, it melts right in your mouth! Mmm. They also have very good hot noodle soup, the chicken mei fun is super delicious. The servers are very nice, they do give you great recommendations or the special of the day. They are also very attentive, they come by once in a while to make sure everything is okay. The soup was okay, it doesn't come out that hot (unless you ask them to really heat it up) The fried rice is just okay. The portions of the rice was big and I saw other food coming out of the kitchen and I was surprised to see the portions to small. Waitress we had never came back to refill our drinks. I have to say that for a casino that isn't in a major city, the food has been top notch. We made it to Liberty Bell and Chickie & Pete's and wanted to finish our stay at Parx with trying out Bambu. I had the Pho which was delicious, the broth had a wonderful, fragrant flavor. My mother had the pepper steak and said it's the best she has ever had and my grandma who wasn't very hungry very much enjoyed the shumai. Located in the Parx Casino, Bambu has all the enticement of an Asian restaurant in a Pennsylvania casino. Our overly large table for four had little intimacy but good for social distancing and placemat menus. Our server had the same attitude as she for our drinks. We ordered appetizers- satay platter, spring rolls- vegetable and chicken. Promptly out 20 min later and all were good- the satay platter has a good peanut chunky dressing. We ordered a shrimp pad Thai and General Tso's chicken - the pad Thai was a mess of noodles (overcooked) in a pale pink sauce. The shrimp were large and felt under cooked. We really were trying to decipher the dish color and why it looked the way it did. The General Tsos chicken came with broccoli and rice. Bambi Noodle House is. A pretty solid food option compared to the other options at Parx Casino. I really enjoyed how clean the place is and the overall service. The food is decent, although I find it to be a bit under seasoned and not as authentic as I thought it would be. We usually order the Kung Pao Chicken, the house special fried rice (which is usually a lot mushier than your average fried rice), and a general Tso's chicken and share it amongst 4 people. I also noticed that every time we go, the sodas are usually flat (lacking carbonation). I would recommend you stick to water. The restaurant does not have a bathroom, so make sure to make that pit stop before going to eat. They accept comp dollars from your players card if you have any accrued funds. read more

I asked the server whether it was pre made, and he said, "Of course not!!!" Pretty good food at a high price point. If I ever come here again, hopefully my food will be paid for with some winnings at parx. Almost every food vendor at parx has jacked up prices but this place is probably one of the better tasting options. The beef with tendon noodle soup was good. Delicious broth and lots of scallions but a bit skimpy on the meat. I think I counted 5 pieces including only 1 piece of tendon. $16. The beef chow fun was also packed with flavor and had some not usually included ingredients such as green pepper and diced carrot. The portion size was better but it was very greasy. read more

Located inside of a food hall within the Parx Casino. They definitely are a authentic style Asian restaurant serving up some good ol classics people love. We ordered the wonton soup, added noodles. Very flavorful and big enough to share for two. We also ordered the Black Bean Lobster. This is one of their daily specials and I repeat, not on the menu! It is a bit pricey coming in at $55 a plate but absolutely worth it. The black bean sauce they cook it in makes the lobster so tender and all of the remaining vegetables compliment the dish.
