Some nice touches with the Cantonese style seafood, deep fried to golden perfection. I did try the sushi and it seems a lot of fusion for me, with Mediterranean herbs or spices, cream cheese or so. But the usual suspects are there, like the tuna and salmon nigiri and the quality of the fish is very good, really fresh. And for the price there is nothing to argue about, but this just doesn't matter, it's the authentic Chinese cuisine that wins the prize...

The staff was so kind, seating us away from other diners because our littlest one was sleeping in the stroller when we arrived. They were kind to the kids & even provided them with plastic plates & silverware. I have never seen this before in my life. Everyone came by our table to smile and talk to the kids. The food was also DELICIOUS! Huge portions. My husband and I did a special for 2 that included sweet & sour chicken, beef in oyster sauce, Peking duck, and cashew shrimp. Salad and fried rice on the side. I can't tell you which meat was my favorite because each one was better than the next. After we ate, one of the male waiters walked by son over to a dessert fridge and let him pick something out. The shrimp was good however the batter got really soggy the vinegar on the sauce was very strong. The beef just needed more flavor, just wasn't feeling it. She was a very good cook in her own right, and we lived near some of the best Chinese food in the world in Southern California. I can state unequivocally that this is the real deal! They use fresh ingredients, fresh oil, and the chef does a masterful job. We are spending 10 days here and have already eaten here twice with plans to eat here a couple more times despite the other excellent choices competing for our attention. Tastefully decorated and squeaky clean, if you appreciate good Chinese food, I recommend you try them.

It helps you connect with the waiter who can give you the inside scoop on what is good or not. Had a wonderful meal here while sitting outside listening to the waves crashing on the nearby beach. Had a house wine (i don't recommend this), fresh crispy fried wan tan, excellent sizzling squid, and a special fried rice that included small bits of mean, shrimp, and peas. All of the dishes were excellent. The plan was to leave enough for lunch tomorrow but that did not work out so well. We finished it all. Can't vouch for take away service, but the full dining service has always been excellent. I don't know which staff members were rude, they all seemed polite and efficient to me. A couple of the waiters are Portuguese and real comedians. One spotted my camera and offered to take pics of me and my wife without being asked. Another nice touch is the offer of a complimentary glass of port as you pay the bill after your meal. In May we had our glass of port, paid the bill, but didn't leave straight away as we were chatting to the couple at the next table, so up came our waiter and topped up our port glasses for second helpings! The place is always crowded because the food is good and the service is rapid. Apart from the Portuguese staff, the remainder are Chinese (obviously). Some have limited English so they don't say much other than the names of the meals - some people could think they're stand offish - but it's just that they are nervous when trying to converse further. Don't be put off - give this place a try and make up your own mind.
