Why, oh why do some establishments insist on trying to theme themselves after American eateries, without actually doing the research?
The Baltimore Exchange is a pub(ish) and buffet eatery. However, I use pub in the loosest sense of the word. There is a large bar, but no real ale, and, when we were there, they were even having problems with the Diet Coke dispenser.
The staff are very young - this isn't a place, that by the looks of things, encourages much loyalty, either from its staff or its customers.
The food is a buffet - I didn't eat it, but it didn't look to me especially appetising. I didn't notice that it was topped up very often (or, indeed at all) in the hour I was there.
Now, I'm from the States originally, and have visited Baltimore on more than once occasion. I have no idea what exactly makes this establishment resemble Baltimore even a little.
There is a very large car park, which is just as well, as there is nothing else there to draw visitors.
