He should not be allowed to provide any kind of veterinarian services if this is how he chooses to conduct himself. Took my dog in because he was feeling sick and not eating in February. Dr. Pineau (the ONLY doctor who works there) said he had a high white blood cell count and was trying to fight off an infection. Sent us home with antibiotics. As my dog is taking the antibiotics he's still not eating, so I call back about that, Pineau gives me prednisone. I go for a follow up appointment and get another blood test done, and he says my dog is still battling this infection with a high WBC, gives me a different kind of antibiotic and tells me to keep him on the prednisone. All the while my dog's eating has still been low, and at this point he's lost like 10-15lbs. I go for another follow up, but this time my dog's legs are hurting him really bad, like he won't even walk. So Pineau takes him in the back, gives him two pain shots (without consulting me) and comes back and tells me the pain is in his hind legs, and that the shots should help, and that I should give him pain pills for 2 weeks. Two days later I get the blood test results and Pineau says his WBC is good now, my dog should be all better if he just keeps taking the pain pills. The next morning I wake up and my dogs back legs are so weak he can't even walk. I take him to an ER and the ER doc gets my medical records and is SHOCKED by the fact that my dog had been SEVERELY anemic the entire time I was taking him to Dr. Pineau and he NEVER said anything about it. Not only that, the white blood cell count that he was so worried about? Wasn't even in the high range until my 2nd blood test. She scanned my dog's bladder to see if she needed to put in a catheter (because he couldn't stand to pee), and found his spleen was riddled with nodules (presumably tumors), and said that all of these things are signs of a cancer in the blood, and that my dog would have a few months left at best... So I had to put him down ONE DAY after Dr. Pineau said he was perfectly fine. This vet is a disgusting human being who stole the last little bit of time I had with my dog because he lied straight to my face with no remorse. I'm not sure if it was because my dog was a rottweiler, or I was a young black woman who he thought was just too dumb to know any better, or if he just didn't care, or a combination of all three. P.S. To the nice lady at the front desk who always remembered my name and my dog and when our appointments were? You're the best. Please find another place to work because I won't stop until I've gotten justice for my dog and myself.

UNPLEASANT & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE…read more After reading most of the relevant reviews on this hospital, it appears they used to be good, but the service has declined after certain doctors left this practice. I experienced that today with both doctors, Dr. Pineau & Dr. Bradley. Both doctors are extremely unprofessional, dismissive, rude and disrespectful. My 12 year old, 10lb chihuahua required service. When I made the appointment, I informed the receptionist that he is aggressive (as many of chihuahuas are) however she did not give any specific instructions while making the appointment. When I arrived and checked in, I asked the receptionist and vet tech if they wanted me to muzzle him before they took him back. The vet tech went back and gave me a long leash and I told her I did not know how to use that as a muzzle, so she took him back with no muzzle. I heard my dog struggling in pain with them in the back, then Dr. Bradley brought him back in the room VERY hostile telling me I am going to have to take him else where because he is trying to bite the staff... When I tried to speak and tell her that I offered to muzzle him multiple times, and the vet tech stated, "it was ok", she then kept interrupting me while I was trying to talk. She then asked me where he was seen and has any other vet hospital declined services. When I told me no, she then asked, "Well why did you come here". This woman wanted to argue because she apparently hates her job. It makes zero sense that they will decline services to a 10 lb, 12 yr old chihuahua but literally while I was getting checked in, they did not decline service to a 60-70lb shepherd that came in with a e-collar growling. That dog is larger and came in the lobby growling. My dog did not growl not once in the lobby, he's only aggressive towards anyone handling him so make it make sense. I had to tell her to let me talk because I am the client for her to finally shut up for a second so I could talk. I expressed how she was wrong for coming in the room hostile without offering options such as we will bring out an e-collar, muzzle or do the services in the room to allow the owner to handle/restrain the dog. After she finally got the correct type of muzzle and brought in the room, she already made everything hostile and was still being rude to me, I was not going to allow those people to service my dog from that point. I went back to the front and asked to speak with another doctor or manager. She took me back to the room where I tried to report how rude Dr. Bradley was towards me but Dr. Pineau also got dismissive and even flicked his old hand in my face. These private owned, hole in the wall (the place literally has bullet holes in the walls) vet hospitals are the ones you want to stay away from as the can operate on their own beliefs and feelings. The franchise hospitals have to maintain professionalism, provide customer service, and work with/accommodate the clients. The doctors at Aardmore do not care. Pay for quality if you love your animals.

I've had a really positive experience with Eastern Animal Hospital so far. They've been kind and…read moregentle with Max, responsive when I need an appointment, and the facility is always clean. When he needed treatment for an ear infection around the same time he was due for vaccines, they helped me think through a plan to spread out the costs while still making sure he got everything he needed. I've also had a great experience with their pharmacy. The pharmacist was incredibly helpful and informative when we switched one of Max's prescriptions. My only minor inconvenience was that they no longer carry Simparica Trio in-house, but we were able to find an alternative that worked for us. Overall, everyone from the front desk to the veterinary team has been friendly, helpful, and sweet with Max. I'm glad we made the switch!

My baby is not simply my friend; he is family.

Laura Jean was the vet assistant and she was so great with our cat. She really loved on him and he wasn't afraid of her at all. I hope she doesn't mind that I took a photo - it was just such a cute moment when she held him. Dr. Lentz was a really nice and knowledgeable vet and took time to answer our questions. She trimmed our cats nails with ease. The whole appointment was quick but we got everything we needed. We found out our cat has worms and they were prompt in calling us and getting us the medication. We're still waiting to hear about the blood work but so far so good with this office.

One of my dogs is now five and has severe anxiety. This became much more noticeable after he was neutered. We have been trying medication, but it does not seem to be working, and his anxiety has continued to get worse. He shakes when I leave, breaks pieces off my door if he is outside for even a few minutes, and will barely leave the house or get in the car. When I called and explained how serious this had become, I was told to bring him in for his annual visit. Over the next couple of weeks, he seemed to get worse by the day. I responded to their text message because I was frustrated and concerned. I understand my message likely came across as frustrated, because I was. I was trying to get help for my dog. What made the situation more upsetting was what happened after that. After I sent the text, I saw Brittany McMahon's name appear as having viewed my Facebook story. Brittany is the assistant manager, and she was also the person I ended up speaking with by phone. During that call, she told me the team had reviewed my text message, so there had clearly been dialogue among the team about my complaint. I am not claiming to know exactly what was said, but as a customer, that sequence did not feel neutral or professional. I sent a frustrated message because I was trying to get help for my dog. I was then told the team had reviewed that message, and I also knew that the same manager involved had looked at my personal social media. Readers can draw their own conclusions about how that feels from the customer side, and what a customer might reasonably wonder about the dialogue happening around a complaint in that situation. The call did not feel helpful or compassionate. It felt like I was being judged for being upset, rather than supported through a difficult situation with a dog who has significant anxiety. Instead of feeling like the practice was trying to help me figure out next steps, I was told they could send me my dogs' records. I understand the practice may be going through a leadership change, and maybe that has contributed to the experience. But as a long-time client with two dogs in their care, I expected more support, follow-through, and professionalism. If you are taking your pet there for routine annual visits, your experience may be fine. But if your pet has special needs, behavioral concerns, or a more complex situation, I would be cautious about relying on this practice for support.

He broke his leg in February because of all the ice and they were the first place I went because they were closest. They immediately told me he would need surgery that they couldn't do. So I took him to Falls road for the surgery, but I was told that they could do his bandage changes afterwards. I took him here twice afterwards and they bandage changes they did along with the sedative they used ended up bothering him so they told me how to do the bandage changes myself and how often. I followed their instructions but this recent spike in humidity caused a bandage to get wet and I think the surgery incision started to get a little infected. I brought him in ASAP as I was instructed. I called ahead of time and came in at noon like they asked me to. This time I dealt with a vet I hadn't seen there before, who didn't even bother introducing himself. And literally the first thing this man had the audacity to say to me was "I'm confused about this" I explained how I had been doing the bandage changes as instructed by the other vet who works there and he proceeded to speak down to me like a child, eventually asking "why does your dog even have this incision" proving that he hadn't even looked at my dogs records. When I explained how he broke his leg and needed surgery, and how they should have his xrays on file, he goes to the computer and finally looks up my dogs records just to say "oh he did break his leg" as if I were lying to him before. The unnamed Doctor removes the bandaging I had done the day prior and says "this is a mess. I don't have time for this, I'm leaving in an hour" tells me to just go somewhere else and pushes me out the back door so that people in the front wouldn't see that they sent him out the door without so much as cleaning or bandaging his leg back up. I'm never going back to Fullerton animal hospital again and neither is anyone else in my household.

I can't fault him for that, I just prefer him as our pets vet and not getting a different one each time I have to take a pet there. Dr. Zulty was with me both times my elderly dogs passed away. That said here is the review for this visit. I rescued a kitten with my son and a friend from her work. I was immediately drawn to one particular kitten who was covered with black greasy substance and infested with fleas and extremely weak and tiny. He needed someone to just help him and love him like he deserves. After getting him home we immediately bathed him with cat shampoo which killed the fleas and eggs. We got lucky! I called the vets in the morning to ask if I could bring him in to have him checked by the vet & any shots.. I was able to get an appointment that day. Kudos!! I took him into the vets and it wasn't busy so I was called back in less than 5 minutes! Another positive! I'm on a roll with this visit lol. I put the carrier on the metal table and he came out and dead fleas fell off him so they asked if he was given something for fleas. I told them no, just bathed him in lavender mint cat shampoo and it killed all the fleas. They couldn't believe it but confirmed he had no live fleas and they treated him anyway with monthly flea/tick prevention. They took him to the back to do the exam and temp, weight etc. This is the reason for the 4/5. I prefer the vets examine my pet in my presence and do what they need to in the room with me there. Also bc I won't get to see Dr. Zulty. Now the vet came in holding our little guy and said he weighed .4lb, and approx 4-5weeks old. I knew he was young but thought he was probably the runt. The vet I saw was very nice and she explained everything to me and answered my questions about a few things. Overall a good experience. He had an eye infection which went away with prescription drops. She said she would give me a few oral syringes to feed him kitten replacement milk by hand every few hours. The ladies at the front desk are friendly and helpful as well. The only thing that took longer than expected was waiting to pay the bill. I should mention that before they do anything to your pet they will ask you if you are ok with it and the prices. Overall I totally recommend this place for all your pets! Short version - It all began October 8th and Blossom had been limping (left rear paw) and only put her claws down, never the whole foot. Now Blossom can no longer put any weight on her paw so I've been trying to call for three (3) days, my phone will not let the call go through, I can call from anyone else's phone, and the call goes through if I dial *67 410-687-1111 the call goes through. Seriously, they blocked my number. WHY, I can honestly say I haven't called there screaming or cursing, I've been irritated but not nasty. WTF EMRVC is supposed to be Blossom's vet. Still waiting for a return telephone call. The full story - It all began approximately two (2) weeks before October 8th (earliest available appointment). I took Blossom in because she was limping (left rear paw), she was given an anti-inflammatory, and we were sent home. Apparently, Blossom was allergic to the anti-inflammatory because she began itching, and chewing. We bathed and cut her to ensure that she didn't have fleas. She chewed so much on 10/15 that she chewed a hole in her hind quarters and next to her tail. On 10/16, I called EMRVC, left a message and headed to Tractor Supply to purchase a cone. After several phone calls I was able to be seen with Blossom at 4 PM. The doctor said she found it hard to believe Blossom was allergic to the anti-inflammatory but gave her Gabapentin for pain and a anti-biotic to make sure where she had chewed didn't get infected. After a few days off the anti-inflammatory and being given Benadryl the itching and chewing stopped. Hard to believe (yeah right). On October 30th after two (2) weeks on the Gabapentin her limping had gotten worse, not better, I called and asked if someone could look at Blossom's paw on her x-rays to see if someone was imbedded in her paw. The young lady asked me to take a picture of the bottom of her paw and send it to them. Not sure why because you can't see anything but her paw pads and fur, but I did what I was asked. I was called by a member of the staff that evening and told that I had to bring Blossom back in because they could only see paw pads and fur on the picture, no kidding. I told her I had requested that someone look at Blossom's x-rays, that I wasn't surprised that they weren't able to see anything on the picture of the bottom of Blossom's paw, and I didn't understand why I had to send the picture. I also told her I didn't wish to spend any more money when Blossom had only gotten worse, not better. Later that evening I called and left a message that said if they couldn't have someone look at the x-rays to please let me know and I would pick the x-rays up and take them where someone could look at them as I had requested. The next day Dr. F called and said that I could bring Blossom back in, but she recommended an MRI ($2,300 to $5,000). WOW! After spending almost $1000 and having nothing but negative results I didn't wish to put out another $2300 to $5000 needlessly. I purchased Dog Aspirin and Cosequin with hopes that Blossom would get some relief. Thursday, 11/13, more than a month and a half in I decided to call and ask to speak to Dr H whole had helped our Oakley several months ago. To date, four (4) telephone calls and voice messages, no one at EMRVC has had the decency to return a telephone call.

They are honest, straightforward, and genuinely focused on doing what is best for your pet. They give you the information you need, even when it may not be what you want to hear, and I have always respected that. Last week, I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl due to old age. It was one of the hardest things I have ever experienced, but I will always be grateful to Dr. Smith and his team for the love, compassion, and exceptional care they gave her throughout her life--and especially during her final days. They treated her with dignity and kindness, and that meant more to me than I can put into words. I will continue bringing Rocky and any new puppy additions to Dr. Smith because he is the only veterinarian I completely trust with my fur baby. That level of trust is not something I take lightly. Yes, getting an appointment with Dr. Smith can sometimes be difficult, but honestly, I believe that speaks volumes about how wonderful he is and how many pet parents feel the same way. After more than a decade, I wouldn't want my dogs in anyone else's care.
