On 7/4/26, a staff member was sitting in the cooler handing out water bottles -- 1-2 each -- to select customers, but skipped over us entirely. When we finally got inside, she asked how we were doing. My 80-year-old mother mentioned it was hot, and the employee replied, "Is it that hot since you're out?" -- dismissive, especially right after handing out water to other customers and not us. It felt like the staff cater to a certain type of customer, and we didn't fit that mold. Very disappointing and disheartening after being loyal customers for so long especially on July 4th.

One of the most delightful features of this nursery are the cats that live on the premises. I personally didnt shop there because the premium they charged always made me think twice and It was more important for me to save money. These days, the most important thing is convenience, for me. That includes the right storage container that is esthetically pleasing and possibly designed for the very job I need satisfied. I find it hard to believe, The Container Store has survived all these decades with the feverish low price competition but, they have. Finally went to FTF and they had just what I wanted and several to choose from. in the end, the price was the same as other nurseries. That included installation and a one year warranty with a minimal delivery fee. Couldn't be more pleased. Definitely recommend them.

I then reached out to the store to obtain the name of their manufacturer to find out the warranty only got the run around and was offered a $50 card to buy new lights. I didn't pay $600 to only use the tree once and have to string the lights myself. I did end up locating the warranty, which explores December 20 2026 but the manufacturer was also no help. I had 2 other trees purchases from a different company and those lights are still functioning after 8 yrs. Here is how my tree from At Home, most lights are out.

They have these craft DIY events 1st saturday of each month which is quite cool to host. However, the space is never enough. People have to create makeshift work spaces (ie: cart, some loose board, etc) which I would think is unsafe. The staffers parking themselves at the table "checking" people in and providing paints can maybe use some training on how to add more work space? They're always just sitting there overly greeting people instead of trying to move the lines along quicker. A lot of useless stuff crowding the aisles as another reviewer alluded to. LEt's clean up the walking space a bit if possible.
