Distance between locations is 6.5 miles (relatively close, I'd say). I understand it may be longer, everything is an estimated and I was expecting maybe 5-6 hours, but instead it took 8 hours for the move. 8 hours to move out a 1 bedroom apartment?! Elevator on property at move out location, one set of stairwells at move in. Besides that, multiple pieces of furniture damaged, some even broken, including 2 leaves from a large plant that I had to cut off. Contacted owner, sent pictures of all damages and was told 'it's within normal, nothing we can do'. A broken vanity (it 'fell off' the dolly, broken legs, broken mirror), a damaged dresser with drawers that now won't open, TV stand with chipped off corners, same as the vanity, same as the dresser and same as my baby's crib. And zero responsibility for it all.
