The glass wall to wall doors, when opened, create an open space, merging indoor and outdoor sitting. Perfect for CoVID era life. Draft local bear was served cold and was excellent. For appetizers we chose to share a Caprese salad ( excellent, very generous portion, perfect balance of flavors and textures. It is a slight modification of traditional Italian version, here they added a few olives and mix salad leaves). The second appetizer was from tapas menu- crispy artichoke with Parmesan. The first time we tried it was in Rome, a whole artichoke was dipped into boiling oil. Here it was the artichoke petals fried with sprinkles of shaved salt and generous Parmesan shaves. I would give it 4 out of 5 only because to my taste they overdid it with salt. Otherwise, the taste was excellent. For the main course we both chose fried sole fish with French fries ( here called chips) and mixed veggies. The portion was huge and we couldn't even have a desert. The fish was fried in butter and served with the best French fries I have had - crispy on outside and soft on the inside. The last time I had such tasty French fries was in Brussels, the motherland of French fries :). The fish was very fresh and cooked just right. Service was friendly and efficient. Overall, highly recommend for a relaxed lunch or dinner

Dining at Michelin - starred restaurants before, we can confidently say this was one of the finest culinary experiences we've ever had. The sea bass was nothing short of perfection; impossibly tender, buttery, and so delicately prepared that it melted with every bite and danced on our tastebuds. Each dish showcases the true beauty of farm to table dining, and this is something we take seriously (and know of) coming from a true California native. Every plate was thoughtfully crafted, which allowed the quality of each ingredient to shine. What truly elevated the evening as we were celebrating a special occasion were the two angels of Cosi and Silvia. Despite the restaurant being lively and bustling, Cosi and Silvia made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Their warmth, attentiveness, and true genuine kindness transformed an incredible meal into an unforgettable memory. Nestled in the heart of Magaluf, this restaurant is worth the drive no matter where you are staying. It's not simply a meal - it's an experience that lingers long after the final bite. Best restaurant we've experienced in Mallorca and our warmest gratitude to the entire Olive Tree team + SILVIA + COSI, MUCHAS GRACIAS!

After a recommendation from a random local we met on the street (not a promoter) we went to this…read morerestaurant three times this week. We were not disappointed! The first evening we ordered the sea bass, cooked mallorcan style. The menu said it was for two people, but the dish would easily be enough for three persons. Non the least it was amazing! Second day we ordered paella. For me, this was the first time I eat paella in Spain (have tried it once in Norway, which hardly counts..) and in my opinion it was truly incredible here at the bodega! The waiter recommended a local red wine, Macia Batle from 2010 and it suited perfectly to the paella. The third and last day we ordered tapas. Potatoes with some sort of sauce on, meatballs, garlic shrimps, serrano ham, chorizos and chicken croquettes. If I would remove one dish it would be the chicken. It was okay, but that's all. The serrano ham was heavenly! They have a lot of them air drying in the ceiling in the restaurant and the rest of the interior makes the visit feel like you truly are in Spain, and not in a heavy trafficked tourist village. We got a local red vine to the tapas as well, but I can't remember the name of it. But it was spot on to the tapas, as the wine we got to the paella were. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service is first class. It costs a bit more than the restaurants down on the beach, but you really get true value for the money!
