Open rooftop

Lovely rooftop in Roma Norte! We went around 4:30 pm on a Saturday, and it was easy to find a table; I'm not sure if it's usually like that, so I would recommend booking a table if you don't want to risk it! We went for some drinks and ended up getting some food. We had a four-cheese pizza that was SO GOOD, small, and perfect to share! We also ordered a fresh salad and some flor de jamaica al pastor tacos, an exciting dish. They replaced the meat from el pastor for hibiscus flower, which was very tasty and different! We had some drinks and enjoyed the excellent music! The whole roof opens up and gives it a really lovely vibe! The service was super warm and friendly! I'm glad we went and would definitely go back!

Seriously come and eat here. Service was excellent. Cocktails were delicious. Our main entrees were absolutely amazing and dessert was the icing to top it all off. The rooftop is so chill and relaxing.

Drinks only: great rooftop space. They can close and open for shade or sun. It's only on the second/third-ish floor, it's not that high up to have any sort of view. Drinks were good. Get a craft cocktail- they can make you almost anything. And it tasted good! Tons of things to choose from at the bar. We didn't try the food- maybe next time!

Very beautiful rooftop bar with a hip ambiance. They have a full page for vegan dishes. The food was super tasty with unique flavors and the craft cocktails were thoughtful. The service was very nice, attentive and helpful to us tourists. The menu is all in Spanish & not really a tourist place. The crowd seemed to be more of upper class locals with their leather laptop bags, pea coats, high heels, ordering bottles of wine etc. The price was on the higher side but well worth it.

This place is so underrrated! We planned on stopping for one drink on a Sunday night, after tasting our first drink we couldn't resist ordering more. Everything that the server recommended was on point, he was also super nice and welcoming. The pineapple habanero margarita could be the best drink in Roma. We ordered food and it was equally good for a place you would assume only good for drinks, we were pleasantly surprised that the food was equally as good. We ordered the vegetarian pizza and jamaica tacos and french fries, everything was super good. I can't wait to go back! oh the dj was also very good..the music was pretty cool.

Don't bother. Tried to call for hours no answer. So took a 30 minute taxi ride there and they wouldn't give us a table. Boo.

We then kicked things off with the arancini, which set the tone right away--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. For mains, we shared a spread and honestly couldn't pick a favorite: the Octopus Tacos were tender and packed with flavor, the Rabbit Tacos were unique and delicious, and the roasted seasonal vegetables "al mojo de ajo" were simple but so satisfying. The marinated pan-fried salmon and fresh trout were both beautifully cooked and thoughtfully seasoned. Every dish felt intentional, beautifully presented and well executed. But the real showstoppers were the desserts. The fresh goat cheesecake with orange, grapefruit, and lemon was bright and perfectly balanced, and the whisky chocolate crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and unforgettable. Desserts truly knocked it out of the park. Bonus points for the cocktails--my hubby was a huge fan. Great food, great drinks, excellent service and relaxed ambiance made for a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend adding Temporal to your Mexico City dining list.

Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

Even though they have…read moreseveral locations across CDMX, we stumbled upon one just a short walk from our hotel--and the fact that they were open on Christmas Day already earned bonus points. What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must. With such a wide menu, you're guaranteed to find something you'll love--and very likely come back for more. Highly recommend!

We tried a few juices, the chicken tomato salad and the salmon tacos. The salad was huge with a big portion of chicken, avocado and many toppings for a reasonable price. The tacos were smaller but flavorful. Taking off a star because my salad arrived almost 15 minutes before my boyfriend's tacos arrived and the restaurant was pretty empty. The lights were out in the bathroom and in part of the restaurant, so not sure if they were dealing with a partial power outage and impact to the kitchen. Still recommend for the food!
