Come here if you want to right off the bat spend an outrageous cover charge. Then sit at a table and get ignored. We had to go to the bar and get our own drinks and start a tab. The band was FIRE!!!!!!!!!!! The 2 stars is for the band. The band deserves 5 stars! read more

Every time we come to AC we come here specially for Kecia. Consistently she is incredible. She is kind, hospitable, and so much fun. She carries this place on her shoulders and if you don't have her as your bartender ... I'm sorry for you. read more

They are now The Yard an indoor/outdoor beer garden venue that can close in colder climes. They offer a limited bar menu during the week. My crispy sandwich ($16) came with spicy aioli on a brioche bun. $2 for upgrade from homemade chips to truffle dusted tater tots. Everything is made to order and it shows. They're having a tequila promotion this week and my people's margarita (Teremana blanco tequila, pineapple, lime agave and Island salt) is half of its usual $14. The service was five star, friendly and efficient. read more

Hit or miss - I spent 3 days here this past weekend locking down spots for the beach concerts. The 75 dollar deal was excellent! It got me a table, 2 drinks and food (everyone in our group tried the limited concert menu and there was not one complaint). The main issue we had was the service and disorganization. I bought a ticket online in advance for Friday and the staff had zero clue what it was. My wife checked and noticed that our son could be in the venue until 7pm - this was denied after she just paid 30 dollars to park. The host promised me another beverage and said to remind him later.. when I did he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Whatever. Night 1 - Waited 15 minutes at the bar while 4 bartenders stood around and talked. I walked to the other side and asked if they were open as there were 5-6 people waiting for service as well. Overall service was subpar but I understood they were short staffed so I left a 40% tip. Originally I asked the guy at the door where the mens room was - he told me there wasn't one. Meanwhile, it's on the opposite side behind the stage. Night 2 - we arrived early again to get our tickets and were told to come back in 2 hours. When we did, most of the tables were gone. Again whatever. We had the same waitress and a larger group this time. Mind you, we're all very generous tippers. As the night progressed I ended up waiting 75 minutes for a drink which was already charged to my card. Otherwise I would have gone to the bar. The waitress explained she was very busy but had no problem getting the table next to us multiple buckets of drinks during that time period. Asked for water at 5:30 every time she came by and we finally got ONE bottle at 9:45. Yes, I'm not kidding. A short while later my check was dropped off. 71 dollars - 41 dollars of which were drinks we did not receive and food that was already paid for. Didn't get a chance to resolve it so we just let it go.. my buddy already threw the waitress 25 (for the food I was charged for) so we considered that the tip. Waitress walks by and curses me off before we left. Sunday - much better service (new waitress) and no issues with drinks... except the water situation again. 4 hours to grab a couple of mini bottles. I eventually ended up going to the bar where the staff were nicer and more attentive. Overall: great place to enjoy the beach concerts but they really need to get organized better. Wait staff could be more friendly and prompt. We had big bills waiting but they ended up back in our pockets after waiting over an hour for a drink. read more

I'm giving this place three stars because it's a cool spot right off the boardwalk and beach and the drinks are good. With that being said, the customer service is horrible and the food service. My gf and I ordered a side of french fries to go with our drinks. Before our food comes the waitress asks us if we wanted to pay the bill. I told her no, you don't pay for the bill until you get everything you order (the waitress had an attitude when she first came to our table as well). Glad we didn't pay for the bill because when our fries came they turned out to be onion rings (which took 30 minutes to come). When our waiter came over to see if we wanted to pay the bill now, we pointed out the kitchen got our order wrong (I ate the onion rings anyhow, but my friend didn't) and explained we know it's not her fault. She proceeds to tell us that the kitchen was explaining to her about something fries and onion rings, but because she was busy she didn't understand. Ma'am, did you just tell us that, customers? Lol needless to say my friend told her to take them off the bill and didn't leave a tip. read more

This is my favorite place in AC! I've come here so many times and always have an awesome time! I was surprised to see a bad rating and could see that people are rating the food! This place is on the beach. There's plenty of places to eat on the boardwalk, there is no reason to order food here. I come here for the music. They always play old school hip hop. This weekend when we got here they were playing freestyle so I was skeptical for a minute, but then the hip hop and then the DJ played hip hop and reggae. We stayed much longer and drank way more than I thought and it was all worth it. The bartenders are very friendly and the drinks were delicious. If you are in AC and looking to go have drinks and dance by the beach, this is the spot. read more

Vibes! vibes! Vibes! We stopped by to have a bite to eat and get a couple drinks early in the afternoon(it's 5 o'clock somewhere)! Unfortunately the food wasn't what we wanted so we left to eat something but came back after lunch. The vibes are there! The view of the beach and the Dj definitely set the mood for a great weekend. Our server Nay was so kind and helpful. We got two buckets. They were the perfect beach drink(light and fruity). It was a great start to our weekend. read more

I came here since it's a large space, plenty of social distancing, and it's right on the beach, which was gorgeous. The staff made sure everyone had their masks on unless they were drinking, which is appreciated during these times. The bartender I had was really nice and even acknowledged me that I was "next" when she had a minute, which I appreciated. She quickly made my drink as well. The oversized cocktail ($17 eek) I got looked amazing, tasted great, wasn't too strong sadly but whatever. That's what I get for picking some beach style cocktail. Wished they were open later was the only downside but it may be due to the latest restrictions. Either way, look forward to coming back! read more

My favorite warm weather party spot in Atlantic City by far. It is at a central location along the boardwalk just steos away from Bally's hotel. It has a huge bar, with a great deal for bucket drinks at $16 then $12 for refills. They are situated right on the beach and play throwback 90s music hits from different genres. At night they have a live dj and the crowd gets crazy then this place really turns up. Oh and their daquiris are pretty good! The dress code is very flexible so you can go comfortable but surely with shoes on. Very cool spot to go for good music, to find random people to dance with, go with friends, or look for singles, and enjoy some good reasonably priced drinks. read more

Yassss Bally's you deffinantly got this RIGHT! This little beach side bar was so FUN! Close enough that if you have that one irresponsible friends who can't seem to hold her liquor (I mean thier) you can walk them to the room and back in one to two songs...! It was a live band playing a mix of 90's Latin and pop plus a DJ! O don't remember MUCH but it it was the best part of Bally's next to the lighting in the bathroom (which was amazing)! read more

Good music, decently priced drinks. Just don't come here trying to expect food. Got the $12 pork butt platter. Took 30 mins plus to come out. Legit food is kids portion size. For the price and the wait time, not worth. The pork butt was tasty though. Gotta eat the booty like groceries. read more

This establishment is not closed. It was packed and busy on Saturday around 3pm. The cocktails were watered down, the menu was super basic. I ordered the hot dog with onions and cheese for $10. The cheese was shredded and cold and so was the bun. The main reason for the low review is that for an establishment that makes thousands of dollars per hour, they really should consider investing in some table umbrellas for the customers. All the seating is outside in blazing hot sun but they only have maybe 20% of the tables covered with umbrellas. They had live music and we would have stayed longer and ordered more but it was just too unbearable to sit out like that. read more

Waited 50 minutes for someone just to take our drink order. Then the wrong food came and we received someone else's food. Waitress came back and she realized we had the wrong food and STILL gave that same food to the customer. We received food and drinks a half hour later. Planned to spend the day there but just became wayyyy to frustrated... on a Wednesday... read more

Bad service, watered down drinks, super low bar stools, over priced, and the worst music

This place is a lot of fun but it also depends on your definition of fun. This isn't like a club head, playing Top 40, meet sexy singles sort of vibe. This is like a folks in their 30s+ reliving their college years with a mix of oldies and new songs, dancing like no one is watching (terribly and drunkenly). Folks are super friendly, maybe too friendly. Drinks are yummy. Live band is very engaging. And it's an outdoor venue during a pandemic. If you are too sober or too serious...maybe find something else. read more

Great place to enjoy daily drink specials as you soak up the sun right on the beach! Lots of space here for you to sit and enjoy great music! There are cocktail waitresses if you wanted to sit at one of the tables for service or you can sit at the bar. -2 stars cause some of the bartenders are straight up b*tchy. read more

This beach bar is another example of Bally's decline. The service is terrible. The food is terrible. The drinks weren't terrible I ordered beer so beer in the can is not terrible. The servers and bartenders were rude. They give you attitude because we ask to place an order. This whole staff should be fired. The security guard by the restrooms was sleeping. Only five tables were occupied and two servers working. We waited 20 mins at our table and my gal pal decided to get the drinks from the bar. The server finally came over and advised me that if I went to the bar to get my drinks I can't sit at table. We Waited 20 mins!!! The Bartender gave my gal pal attitude cause she asked the bartender to pour a drink. She came back to our table. We ordered our drinks from the server. Another mistake I made. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Disaster!!! The one star goes to the entertainment. Close the beach bar down!!!! Or replace the people!! read more

I stayed at Bally's this past weekend so this was the closest party to the hotel. I was drawn in my the live cover band. They were really good! I was pleasantly surprised there was no cover charge. There were a lot of people there but there was still plenty of places to sit, and it didn't take to long too order a drink. The drinks are nice and strong, and decently priced for such a nice atmosphere on the ocean. They had couches, fire pits, a dance floor, palm trees, everything you would expect from a beach bar. I loved drinking, and dancing here right on the ocean it was a blast. After hanging out here we took a stroll on the beach before heading back to the hotel. I would definitely come back here again to dance, and drink giant mojitos. (The one pictured is normal sized, I switched to the big ones after this.) read more

If I could put one star I will. They are rude, money hungry . Never in a million years I could imagine something like this happened in the states . It is total discrimination and disrespect. We waited for 30 min straight in line just to get in ( no social distance , no mask , obviously drunk and obnoxious underage kids ) when we finally got it and paid entrance fee of 25$ , got a drink , pulled our masks down just so we can drink , security jumped on us out of nowhere, started straight up yelling "you have to get out" like were some criminals. Meanwhile on the background SO MANY PEOPLE WITH NO MASK . Not a bartender, not stuff even . So they just decided to come up to us because....? If this is not discrimination then I don't what is. There's no reason why we should have been treated like this, like how embarrassing is it ? Disrespect and poor management God bless this place because they will go out of business really soon. Shame on you Ballys Beach Club read more

Came here to enjoy some music and get some drinks. Bartender recommended this lemonade frozen drinks saying its so amazing and its the best drink she makes.. WRONG! Had her make the drink twice because both times it tasted just like water/ice. No lemon taste or anything. She was so convinced that it was suppose to taste the way it did and it literally tasted like nothing. Also notice there were black spots around the shot glass, brought it to the bartenders attention and she snatched the cup out of my fiancé's hand! She kept saying "well what do you want me to do? Because you're not getting another frozen drink!" I on the other hand had ordered a pina colada and it had no alcohol in it. Hennything is possible was the strongest drink she was able to make and we went on our way. The ladies that check up on you at the cabana and tables were very friendly and nice! DJ and music is always great! read more

Horrible service!!! DO NOT COME HERE!! Sat at a table with my girlfriend for about 15 minutes waiting for a waitress to come. She decided to go to the bar to order a drink, bartender gives her an attitude. "there's a waitress walking around", then proceeded to take her order. But we can tell by his demeanor he really did not want to take her order and make a drink. THEN there was a hair in her drink. She went to yet another waitress, showed her the drink and asked to speak with a manager/supervisor. She left, but came back 10 minutes walking and flirting with another worker. DO NOT COME HERE. And if by any chance, DO NOT HAVE JOHNNY MAC MAKE YOUR DRINK. read more

I actually really enjoyed this bar . I could not stop twerking . Wet willies drink got me tipsy but this drink i had from here did the trick lol . It topped it all off . I had henny something . But whatever Bally's beach bar was dope they play good music , good people around . Will be returning read more

Drinks and management was good. Waitress lost our debit card and we never got it back. security guard singled us out for not wearing a mask when walking back from the bathroom to our table when half of the restaurant was not wearing one and even their own servers were not wearing them in the bathroom. When leaving, security guard asked us to wear a mask when their own security guards let us in without wearing one. Would not recommend . Leaving without a debit card and not going back. read more

Terrible terrible drinks for $14!!!! Would never go again!! Drink tasted like poison!

Oh i'm so excited to be the first one to review this place I'll make it simple. If you're here JUST for drinks. Come. Have a good time. It's lit. And the music. We made the horrible mistake of ordering food here Look Read all my other reviews and you will know that my ratings and words are always legit. I love Jersey this is my home and I've only had nothing but good Things to say about all my establishments that I love dearly in New Jersey. This is Home. But this is just purely disappointing. Like I said live music was phenomenal, the band was great, they did with renditions of classic songs that were phenomenal and they killed it. As I write this I haven't even got my food so I'm not gonna comment about the food. At this point I personally don't even care. Just so everyone knows that this is per our server that all the food comes from Caesars so I don't know if this is their excuse or if it's true but your food will take literally almost 2 hours to get here. We ordered our food at 3:30 PM. It is 5:34 PM and I still haven't gotten my simple order of chicken wings. Simple 10 piece wings. I could've meal prepped by now. And I'm not even a jock or instamodel. And here's the thing this is not a Friday where a big name DJ is even playing. If tiesto was here and the entire area of Atlantic City was coming I wouldn't complain. But this is NOT A special weekend. This is any other normal weekend in Atlantic City. There's absolutely no damn excuse. Anyway come Here for the drinks and the music. Do not come here for the food and if you do do not order the food you'll be ok. Now the band is doing a cover of backstreet boys so I'm OK with it. I'll bump it up to a two star rating not a one. The waitresses are fine. Nothing wrong on them Horrific experience. Won't be back again. Thank god im gonna love 4 hours from Vegas. Hope Shaq does a good job reviving AC. THE HAMPTONS it is from now on. read more

Bally's beach bar is not the place to go. We waited 52 minutes in counting to get our drinks. They have 5 bartenders and only 2 servers. We were also told a lot of the things on the menu were not available. The Dj was excellent however for drinks I wouldn't return at all. read more

Is it possible to give ZERO STARS? The absolute worst bartenders in all of mankind. Backs constantly to the customers, takes 15-20 just for 2 beers.
