Hit or miss - I spent 3 days here this past weekend locking down spots for the beach concerts. The 75 dollar deal was excellent! It got me a table, 2 drinks and food (everyone in our group tried the limited concert menu and there was not one complaint). The main issue we had was the service and disorganization. I bought a ticket online in advance for Friday and the staff had zero clue what it was. My wife checked and noticed that our son could be in the venue until 7pm - this was denied after she just paid 30 dollars to park. The host promised me another beverage and said to remind him later.. when I did he said he didn't know what I was talking about. Whatever. Night 1 - Waited 15 minutes at the bar while 4 bartenders stood around and talked. I walked to the other side and asked if they were open as there were 5-6 people waiting for service as well. Overall service was subpar but I understood they were short staffed so I left a 40% tip. Originally I asked the guy at the door where the mens room was - he told me there wasn't one. Meanwhile, it's on the opposite side behind the stage. Night 2 - we arrived early again to get our tickets and were told to come back in 2 hours. When we did, most of the tables were gone. Again whatever. We had the same waitress and a larger group this time. Mind you, we're all very generous tippers. As the night progressed I ended up waiting 75 minutes for a drink which was already charged to my card. Otherwise I would have gone to the bar. The waitress explained she was very busy but had no problem getting the table next to us multiple buckets of drinks during that time period. Asked for water at 5:30 every time she came by and we finally got ONE bottle at 9:45. Yes, I'm not kidding. A short while later my check was dropped off. 71 dollars - 41 dollars of which were drinks we did not receive and food that was already paid for. Didn't get a chance to resolve it so we just let it go.. my buddy already threw the waitress 25 (for the food I was charged for) so we considered that the tip. Waitress walks by and curses me off before we left. Sunday - much better service (new waitress) and no issues with drinks... except the water situation again. 4 hours to grab a couple of mini bottles. I eventually ended up going to the bar where the staff were nicer and more attentive. Overall: great place to enjoy the beach concerts but they really need to get organized better. Wait staff could be more friendly and prompt. We had big bills waiting but they ended up back in our pockets after waiting over an hour for a drink.

I'm giving this place three stars because it's a cool spot right off the boardwalk and beach and the drinks are good. With that being said, the customer service is horrible and the food service. My gf and I ordered a side of french fries to go with our drinks. Before our food comes the waitress asks us if we wanted to pay the bill. I told her no, you don't pay for the bill until you get everything you order (the waitress had an attitude when she first came to our table as well). Glad we didn't pay for the bill because when our fries came they turned out to be onion rings (which took 30 minutes to come). When our waiter came over to see if we wanted to pay the bill now, we pointed out the kitchen got our order wrong (I ate the onion rings anyhow, but my friend didn't) and explained we know it's not her fault. She proceeds to tell us that the kitchen was explaining to her about something fries and onion rings, but because she was busy she didn't understand. Ma'am, did you just tell us that, customers? Lol needless to say my friend told her to take them off the bill and didn't leave a tip.

My favorite warm weather party spot in Atlantic City by far. It is at a central location along the boardwalk just steos away from Bally's hotel. It has a huge bar, with a great deal for bucket drinks at $16 then $12 for refills. They are situated right on the beach and play throwback 90s music hits from different genres. At night they have a live dj and the crowd gets crazy then this place really turns up. Oh and their daquiris are pretty good! The dress code is very flexible so you can go comfortable but surely with shoes on. Very cool spot to go for good music, to find random people to dance with, go with friends, or look for singles, and enjoy some good reasonably priced drinks.

I don't know who that friend could be...lol

Yassss Bally's you deffinantly got this RIGHT! This little beach side bar was so FUN! Close enough that if you have that one irresponsible friends who can't seem to hold her liquor (I mean thier) you can walk them to the room and back in one to two songs...! It was a live band playing a mix of 90's Latin and pop plus a DJ! O don't remember MUCH but it it was the best part of Bally's next to the lighting in the bathroom (which was amazing)!

This establishment is not closed. It was packed and busy on Saturday around 3pm. The cocktails were watered down, the menu was super basic. I ordered the hot dog with onions and cheese for $10. The cheese was shredded and cold and so was the bun. The main reason for the low review is that for an establishment that makes thousands of dollars per hour, they really should consider investing in some table umbrellas for the customers. All the seating is outside in blazing hot sun but they only have maybe 20% of the tables covered with umbrellas. They had live music and we would have stayed longer and ordered more but it was just too unbearable to sit out like that.

Went here back in September once casinos reopened. Good experience, pricey as usual but that's expected during a pandemic after months of lockdowns. Weather was perfect and close proximity to the beach.

This beach bar is another example of Bally's decline. The service is terrible. The food is terrible. The drinks weren't terrible I ordered beer so beer in the can is not terrible. The servers and bartenders were rude. They give you attitude because we ask to place an order. This whole staff should be fired. The security guard by the restrooms was sleeping. Only five tables were occupied and two servers working. We waited 20 mins at our table and my gal pal decided to get the drinks from the bar. The server finally came over and advised me that if I went to the bar to get my drinks I can't sit at table. We Waited 20 mins!!! The Bartender gave my gal pal attitude cause she asked the bartender to pour a drink. She came back to our table. We ordered our drinks from the server. Another mistake I made. I ordered a chicken sandwich. Disaster!!! The one star goes to the entertainment. Close the beach bar down!!!! Or replace the people!!

It was the middle of the day so the place was pretty empty. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very cool. She had some good shows on TV and she poured heavy. The bar had a bunch of funny signs all over the place. It's a chill dive bar and I'm sure on a busy night it's probably a great place to grab an unpretentious drink. We found out we could buy drinks from BS and bring them next door which get you around the whole no alcohol situation. I mean, if you're going to Bare Exposure in the daytime, you might want to grab a stiff drink beforehand.

We were 2 of the only people sitting at the bar with our empty glasses right in front of us waiting (we waited for about 20 minutes). We couldn't believe it! Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

PRIDE, PORK CHOPS & PURE JOY AT BYRDCAGE ATLANTIC CITY…read more Atlantic City was absolutely glowing this weekend during the Atlantic City Great Pride Festival at O'Donnell Park near Stockton University. More than 1,000 people were expected to attend, and the energy was incredible--music, dancing, laughter, and love everywhere you looked. Just two short blocks from the festival at 3426 Atlantic Avenue sits one of Atlantic City's true gems: Byrdcage Atlantic City. I stopped in throughout the day to cool off, enjoy some mimosas and other refreshing low-alcohol beverages, hydrate, and eventually have dinner. From the moment I walked in, I immediately got why this place has such a loyal following. First, the cleanliness deserves its own paragraph. I have visited restaurants all over the country, and I honestly don't remember seeing an establishment this spotless. The interior and exterior were immaculate. Not a spot of dust. Even during one of the busiest days of the year, the restrooms remained roomy, pristine, and exceptionally clean. The atmosphere is equally impressive. The décor is whimsical, fun, and carefully curated with fascinating photos and memorabilia everywhere you look. Outside, colorful murals create the perfect backdrop for photos and add even more personality to an already vibrant space. And then there was dinner. My server, Isabella, was friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. She even arranged for a dinner entrée to be served before dinner service had officially begun, and I was so grateful she did. I ordered the Seoul Mate Sizzle Pork Chop Platter, and wow. A beautifully grilled bone-in pork chop glazed in a sweet and savory sauce and served over fresh pineapple salsa, alongside creamy herb rice and perfectly cooked vegetables including broccoli, zucchini, onions, mushrooms, and carrots. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the pineapple salsa took it to another level. It was one of those meals where you intentionally slow down because you don't want it to end. And the music? The music made me dance almost all day and well into the night. There was something happening everywhere--at the Pride Festival, downstairs, and upstairs on the dance floor. The DJs absolutely nailed it. Great music, great energy, and great people. I honestly lost track of time because I was having so much fun. Management was everywhere--engaged, attentive, and laser-focused on every detail of the operation. The entire team worked together seamlessly to create something special. More than anything, Byrdcage felt like what every establishment should aspire to be: a safe space filled with kindness, inclusion, acceptance, and pure joy. It was family-friendly, welcoming to everyone, and simply fun. I even bought a Byrdcage shirt at the festival because this is exactly the kind of local business I enjoy supporting. If you're visiting Atlantic City, don't just come for the casinos. Come for experiences like this. Come for the people. Come for the music. Come hungry. Come ready to dance. And absolutely make time for Byrdcage Atlantic City. I'll play first and eat later. Come back perfectly on time and what do I see? Couple that was still in the line when I made my reservation before them - was getting seated. And we had to wait another 10 minutes for the next table. After that it takes 19 minutes, yes I timed it, before server shows up at our table for the first time. I would have expected appetizers to be served at that duration. Later, I timed same thing for the neighboring table, still 14 minutes. I understand about being understaffed and overbooked. But in this case manager was present at the front and had not 2 but 3 greeter girls available. Why one or 2 of them did not convert to wait stuff? R just close half the tables. But no, we will keep running with a reduced service available. Guess what do I see next? Another busy server working exactly half the tables in my proximity who refuses to even stop by for a second. Nope, they each have their own tables and do not share tips - so he has absolutely no interest in helping those that are half a step away. And this is my favorite moment of the visit. By the 19 minute mark we both had made complete food decisions and were ready to go for beef Wellington. However, we learned from another visitor that dish is not cooked to order, but it's a conveyor. You might get that perfect serving or you might get completely cold undercooked meal that waited 30 minutes for you. Just get a steak, and order a custom readiness level: this way one will have to be next to it most of the cooking time. So, we get couple burgers with truffle fries and calamari. I'm looking for the menu section for English ale, and the only choice is Guinness. This is the moment where we should have left, but there would be not enough time to eat somewhere else decent. Calamari is ok, only ok. I was expecting something much better. I can easily take you to 3 places in central NJ that will give you best calamari of your life. Drinks came after app. So, even bartender is busy???? The truffle fries is the only start I'm giving this place in my review. But I guess that they come pre-seasoned in a frozen package, so it's hard to mess them up. Burger had a really good idea of combining pulled meat with your typical hamburger, and it would have been great it patty was cooked to order. I think mine was seating in a warm drawer for ages and then microwaved. Just good enough to eat. Overall this is the worst Gordon experience I've had, hint: try fish and chips place in Vegas. I will not be coming back even if some else is paying. Gordon, I would love to make you the best burger I can at home, then serve you some of the best ale and scotch money can get, and then we can drive to AC and shake up this place. PS. Manager was made aware of all troubles we had and yet did not made any attempt to play bullet out of you-know-what by offering round of drinks or cutting the bill in half. PPS. I run out of Guinness and server was never around to order a replacement. This alone cuts the tip in half in my books.
