And we got to enjoy a weekend away in Atlantic City. The Hall is located right next to Caesars on the boardwalk. It's a decent size, and most of the seats are pretty good. No really bad seats in the stadium. The music was good, and the pyro and lighting were perfect. I would return again if another good performance happens.

It was cute a lot of local businesses decorated trees, and they looked so pretty lined up. I wished it was a bit better promoted than one boardwalk champion because it was pretty and festive. While I was there, I read some of the signs about the town's history. There were some great vintage signs and photos and a Mr. Peanut costume. Even if you are not here for an event, it's an informative little museum inside that's worth a few minutes of your time.

Not even kool aid...not in a…read moreclub, so while I feel bad for the guy who had the dispute, well, I just feel bad for different reasons... The place has three levels. There are VIP areas throughout and one even has its own bathroom. Your party must buy several bottles to get that one. However, while there is consistency between parties, remember, this is a club and the party and crowd will vary dramatically based on who is throwing the party. Such being the case, its hard to expect repeated results. The day I went, the crowd was concentrated on the top floor and was a mixture between urban and sexy. One woman partygoer even gave me a card for a vagina eating contest. I still have the card. I was going to scan it but decided it was in bad taste. I didnt toss it on the floor because, well, there was a thousand dollar prize. While I was not interested, i figured, maybe i know someone who may be. One thing I can say, I forget sometimes about how when you are in a crowded room, people will drop your drinks...While partying, I bumped into a guy who looked kinda like me. It was my brother. I don't know what he was doing there, but we arrived independently of one another...had a drink, and went back to our respective groups... Its a decent club...you may find a way to win a grand or bump into your siblings...

I visited Ovation Hall during my first-ever trip to Atlantic City. I was pleasantly surprised by…read morethe venue, and I'd definitely considering coming back for another show. I saw the Totally Tubular festival, which was a variety show of several 80s bands. (The original acts, not cover bands.) The venue is located inside the Ocean Casino Resort. Ovation Hall is medium sized--definitely not intimate, but also nothing like a true arena. Acoustics were pretty good, and there are giant TVs on each side of the stage to see closeups of the performers. Overall the show went smoothly, with only one or two minor technical glitches, which seemed pretty good for the first night of a showcase tour. A friend and I sat on the side of the venue and still had a clear view. I thought it was worth it for $50 tickets (per person). This was a winter show, so none of the summertime beach traffic. The casino was busy but not overwhelmingly so. It was pretty easy to find parking and locate the venue inside. (Also it's not very smoky inside.) There are drinks available in Ovation Hall itself as well as small snacks. You can get more substantial food outside in the casino. Overall, I had a good experience at Ovation Hall, and I'll keep it on my radar for future shows.
