Rick customized decorations for our son's bar mitzvah this past October, and we were wowed by his work! Not only we were impressed, but so were our guests, and the owners of the catering hall who took pictures of the set-up so they could share ideas with their future customers. When we entered each room, Rick's work was the focal point, and he really was on target, keeping to the whole event's theme. Keeping to the "chef" theme, he created 11 different table centerpieces, 5 signs for the food stations, decorations for the cocktail room and a giant balloon arch to the ballroom entrance (which included giant forks with spaghetti-style balloons jetting out). Each table centerpiece made of foam board was on a stand approximately 4 feet high, with large individualized large pictures to match the cooking theme. The food station signs had a sturdy wood base and steel pole (covered with balloons and ribbons to match the event colors) to support the giant food station signs, detailing the food served. Rick was very flexible and accommodating in scheduling time to discuss event planning, and paid attention to the details of what we were looking for. He took our vision of what we wanted, and made it even better! He worked well with the catering hall, having everything delivered timely and placed in the correct spot. This was actually the second bar mitzvah that we worked with Rick on. Three years ago he provided table centerpieces for our older son's "baseball" theme party, which was also a very professional presentation. We did not hesitate in engaging him again, but he really stepped it up a notch at this event! We would certainly use Balloon Celebrations again for future events! read more

To all that are looking for competent business people, these are NOT who you use. I have pictures and videos to prove how unprofessional and incompetent these people are, especially Rick, the owner. Long story short, I had then do an outside event with balloon arch and balloon trees. Realized this was a windy time of year, as we did it last year, with a wonderful woman who went out of business for health reasons. I showed up and told them where to put the arch and said I would be back in a little bit. They said they would be there. Arrived back in about 10-15 minutes and they were gone. Not only were they gone, but the arch was in the entirely wrong place on the other side of the football field ( we had opening ceremonies). Called the phone number they called me on but no answer. So I called Rick, no answer. While waiting for him to call back, I had to move the arch myself. It was windy but not horrible where we were. It was much worse last year, yet this year, the balloons were popping. All over the field. I checked what he had used and all it was was a balloon filled with sand to hold up balloons that had too much air in them. When he called back 20 minutes later, and I told him what happened, all he said was Well, it is hot and windy... told him was worse last year with no problems like this. He just didn't care and I spent $500 from our NON PROFIT organization for this. As mentioned above I have pictures, video and even kept what he used to secure the balloon trees. Never will use him or anything he is involved with ever again. Worst company and even an even worse owner. PLEASE BEWARE OF RICK AND HIS BUSINESS!!!! Very shady and unprofessional. read more

I got so many compliments from friends and relatives. Rick was so easy to work with. He helped make a usually stressful time planning much less stressful!
