The teachers genuinely care about each child and create a warm, nurturing environment where they feel known, supported, and encouraged to grow into themselves. We can't walk down the halls without multiple teachers saying hello and calling out to both our children. Watching both of our children develop their confidence, independence, and love of learning here has meant so much to us. We feel incredibly lucky to have found a school and community that our family has loved being a part of.

The Director Joanne, Assistant Director RJ, and Toddler Teachers Ms. Cami and Ms. Helen have been a God-send. They have and continuously uphold high standards, truly care about the wellbeing and education of your child, and are genuinely invested in having your family as a part of their community. It was a steep learning curve for myself, being anxious entrusting my treasure and heart to complete strangers, but through transparent communication and above and beyond efforts from the individuals above, trust and bonds were quickly built. The teachers are always focused on interacting with the children at their level and are so engaged during every moment of everyday. Both teachers put in so much time and effort, not only for the children, but also the classroom environment, so that the children truly get the best experience possible!! The consistency of attendance with the teachers are also outstanding and rare for the field!! My husband and I truly feel so grateful for these 4 individuals in helping our child during this crucial development period in her life and for helping us, her parents, get through the difficult pages of these early chapters **pictures depicting children have been edited and screenshotted to protect their privacy**

Within a couple weeks of starting at the school, she was already singing Mandarin songs when she had not been speaking any Mandarin at home. Compared to other preschools I have experienced, what I have heard from other parents at different schools, WIS provides a lot more for your money. I have been very grateful that they provide lunch for the children, along with snacks. All I need to bring for her is a cup and water bottle and they provide the rest. There has been complaints about all the rules, but I didn't mind since they were easy for me to follow - and the routine did not take long to get used to. I also appreciated that having the indoor shoes allowed the floors to be much cleaner. The tuition chart can be confusing at first, but no other school allows you to pay a prorated tuition when you go on vacation (even with the additional fee for schedule changes, we have saved a lot of money this way), nor do other schools let you customize their school schedules to this level. This I have appreciated immensely, as my work schedule may change from month to month. WIS does have a good amount of academics: Chinese writing worksheets, math worksheets. This has been great for my daughter since she loves doing them. But this may not be for everyone. They do also have plenty of toys, a clean classroom, and outdoor playground so they have plenty of opportunities to play. My daughter loves her teachers, and they are very caring and attentive to her. They have even customized her learning based on her level. She has enjoyed the additional classes that are offered for an additional fee (music, Tumblebus, art). We have certainly had a great two years at this school!

My daughter absolutely loves going to WIS! Her teachers and fun and caring. We'd strongly recommend…read moreit to parents who are interested in getting their kids an engaging bilingual early education.

One of the first thoughts that entered my head when I found out that we were moving was that we would have to leave A Place For Kids. I was heartbroken. Our daughter loved A Place for Kids. She was always happy in the morning when I dropped her off and greeted me with smiles when I picked her up. She constantly talked (and still talks) about Diane, Cathy, and her little friends from APFK. She learned so much from APFK. I was always astounded by the new things she learned every day. They taught her simple sign language, how to say "please," "thank you," and "bless you" when someone sneezed. She learned how to count to ten and say "sorry" and pat someone comfortingly on the arm when she made a mistake. I know that she would not have learned all of this if it hadn't been for APFK. They are also amazingly flexible. They were the most reasonably priced daycare we found when we were looking for a place for our daughter. Also, because I'm a teacher, our daughter spends summers home with me. Most places would require you to continue to pay tuition to hold your spot. This was not the case for APFK. This is unheard of in daycares and really helped our family financially. The last time that I saw the teachers at APFK, we were all crying. Me, because I had to take my daughter out of a daycare she obviously loved and they were crying because they genuinely love my daughter. How many people can say that the teachers at their child's daycare love their child? Now that I am trying to find a daycare for our daughter in the Bay Area, I appreciate APFK even more. Ramona, Cathy, Diane, Ashley, Jade, and all of the teachers there are wonderful. I highly recommend A Place For Kids.

The yard is fenced and very well maintained with space and interactive play equipment perfect for a pre-school. The interior had a very comfortable play and study area. The whole property gave "grandma's got style vibes". Crystal also had a perfect vehicle to taking the kids anywhere they need to go. Crystal is open and pragmatic and she cares about her community. My son ended up at a different facility due to a connection to my husbands work. But truth be told I knew out of all the people we interviews for care Crystal was providing the most love and intimate care. She's a lovely woman and if you can get your kids into her daycare you are very lucky! Not surprised she has nothing but positive reviews here!

He has made good friends there and comes home with lots of stories about his day with Crystal and his friends. He really loved having the preschool teachers' visits on Wednesdays. I appreciate that Crystal takes time periodically to talk with parents about how children are doing in terms of developmental milestones and in general during the day. She keeps us updated on how things are going and has a great positive attitude. Throughout the year, she saves the kids' artwork and then organizes it into a binder! This is something I never have time for.

This is a small, family-oriented child care center that serves only a few families at a time (hence the limited reviews). The two sisters who run this business, Nancy and Veneta, are hands-down the most talented and caring educators you can find. Our two daughters who attend, ages 7 months and 4 years, are provided each day with the sensory, social, physical, and educational activities they need to continue to grow and develop. We love that, every day, our children play outside, participate in a wide variety of art and sensory activities, practice social skills with adults and friends, engage in appropriate educational tasks, are read to, get experience with both structured and unstructured play opportunities, and have their physical needs met with naps and healthy breakfast, snacks, and lunch. And on top of such an incredibly enriching environment, Nancy and Veneta are also incredible caretakers who have our children's safety and health as the highest priority. We have complete trust in their professionalism and in their care of our children, and know that they would do absolutely anything for our family and kids. We are so glad that we went for Amazing Kids, and are thankful each and every day that our girls have a special place to go to every work day. In attending for multiple years, Nancy and Veneta have also never called in sick or cancelled on us (a huge problem we had when we had a personal nanny). As a doctor and educator, my husband and I can see daily that Amazing Kids is providing our children with the foundation they need to be happy, educated, and healthy individuals for years to come. The owners/staff, Nancy and Veneta, a tag team of sisters in the profession for almost two decades now, do their work with a lot of heart, mainly because to them, this isn't just a job. The interior is a bit cramped but they do a lot with the space they do have, and the backyard is fairly large, with many opportunities to mobile kids to run around and play games.
