Baliwag's Lechon Manok has been in this country longer than I have. It can trace it's humble origins all the way back to Quezon city back in the middle of the 1980's. From there, the franchise slowly built itself as one of the go to for chicken cooked rotisserie style. If you're from the United States, you can sort of look at this as Kenny Rogers except you can only order for take out and not dine in.
Anyway, Baliwag's Lechon Manok has been present in some of the most momentous moments in my life. My grandfather's wake had their chicken, so do a lot of birthday's, Christmas parties and so much more.
Their chicken and liempo (grilled pork belly) will surely satisfy the taste buds. Never met anyone who ever tried a bite and not ending up eating more than they should. They're also easy to find since there are so many of them around the Metro. read more
