Dr. Roman even referred me for a mammogram, which I scheduled for August 19th. I was upfront about my history of seeing multiple providers over the past year while trying to find a consistent primary care provider. I also explained that I had accidentally left my medications in a hotel room -- a human mistake that I owned up to and resolved. There was no indication that this would be an issue moving forward. Fast forward to my follow-up: I checked in, waited to be seen, and then, without warning, was told I was being dismissed as a patient because of my provider history. The way this was handled was unprofessional and honestly shocking. A woman, who I assume was the office manager (she never introduced herself), walked in and immediately spoke to me in a judgmental tone without asking questions or trying to understand my situation. Dr. Roman never came to speak to me, and to make matters worse, I could hear staff discussing me in the hallway -- which was not only embarrassing, but raises serious concerns about patient confidentiality. Now I'm left scrambling to find another doctor. Because I wasn't offered not offered a 30 day refill until I was able to schedule the psych appointment and/or find another provider, and will be out of my medication by the weekend. If this office had concerns, transparency and communication would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. Patients deserve respect, professionalism, and the opportunity to be heard -- none of which I received.

Although she is polite, she isn't friendly or welcoming. She also smells very strongly of cigarettes, which I find unprofessional for a medical office. The wait time is a standard 30 min+, like any doctor's office. The provider I saw was nice, but she did not seem thorough. There was no patient education involved in my visit. As I said before, everyone seems nice, but no one is friendly or comforting. This office lacks those important qualities. Mediocre care.

I initially went to Vance for a sinus problem, he prescribed a cycle of steroids. I knew these…read moresteroids would exacerbate my preexisting chronic anxiety symptoms. He was dismissive of these concerns. The office was supposed to schedule a follow up the next week. When they didn't I went in that following Monday to schedule an appointment. I was also experiencing severe anxiety from the steroid withdrawal at the time. They couldn't see me until Thursday at 8:00 am so I had to go to the emergency room for treatment. Thank goodness the hospital staff weren't as incompetent or apathetic as Vance's office is. When I showed up for my appointment on Thursday morning they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I told them that I would never be back and stormed out. One of the nurses followed me out to my car to give me a piece of her mind or some kind of ridiculous excuse and she assured me that the staff are all inexperienced students. No kidding? I was too irate to even respond all while having a panic attack and I just wanted to leave but I felt like she was trying to hold me there like I had done something wrong. Eventually she stepped away from my vehicle and allowed me to leave. I'm very upset by the level of incompetence and apathy from this doctor's office.

She was wonderful She spent over an hour going over my meds and medical history. She wrote referrals for the specialists I needed. Ordered labs, l8stened to me and asked all of the right questions! I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to get an appointment with her fairly quickly. I would definitely recommend this group!
