Well I told them that when I went in for my FREE oil change and instead of taking advantage of me they looked over the car, said they couldn't find anything bad with it in a quick overlook but they noticed something loose under the hood and tightened it down so if there's still a problem I could bring it in later for an in depth look. So I decided to give it a try…read more After scheduling my appointment and showing up on time, they had over booked themselves and were short handed so the appointment took longer than they anticipated. I was initially happy with the tint, but soon realized that it needed to be redone for a small defect; (it was obstructing my view). I called and spoke to the daughter of the owner who assured me they could retrim the tint (it was an eyebrow tint over the windshield) for no additional charge. Sounded good! I showed up and they tore the original work they had done and then told me that they couldn't trim the tint, but they would happily replace the tint for an additional charge of $35. It was a shakedown for sure. They had absolutely no customer service. I asked to speak to the manager (her father) but was told he wasn't available. After some haggling, they replaced the tint but did such a terrible job that there are streaks in the tint, bubbles throughout the work, and left over residue throughout the dash of my vehicle. I will not return to this place and warn everyone about Tall City Tint. Pictures are attached. You can see the streaks and other materials that were left on the windshield. Update: Finally made contact with the owner of this shady business. My thoughts have not changed. This place and the staff are not honorable. Customer beware!

Have both positive and negative feedback…read more Will start with the good: were able to diagnose truck same-day (pretty rare in Midland), repairs were completed in a timely fashion (once they had the parts), truck is running great, and they were very friendly (even gave me a ride when I dropped truck off). On the negative side: said they'd do a free oil change/tire rotation and didn't (prob because it was never on the ticket as it was no charge and forgot), seemed to be limited time spent after day 1 into finding the part I needed (actually found it myself and shipped it to them after waiting a few weeks with no progress), and replaced my battery without asking (was at 50k miles and likely needed it, but was a $500 surprise same day as pickup). All in all, I was in a bind and these guys got me answers quickly. Nice people and do good work, but think they need more staff or need to put more time into customer communication and part acquisition.
