I had a $100 bill and right off the…read morebat the rude lady at the counter asked if I was going to pay with the $100 bill, In my mind I was like 'nah I'm just holding it so someone can steal it out of my hand' I said yes but I'm getting $50 of gas so you should have change. She proceeds to charge me. The total was $71 and some change. Next thing you know she pushed buttons and really fast the total changed to $79 and some change. I usually don't get my receipt and this time when she asked if I wanted it I said yes. When she went to reprint it the receipt was for a voided $8 transaction. She reprinted my receipt and sure enough there was a charge for $7.99 for a phone charger I had not purchased. I asked her why did you charge me for this phone charger and she played stupid. She got nervous and just handed over the $8. I believe she overcharged me then voided the transaction and was going to keep that $8. It's not much but if she does that say 10 times a day she's stealing about $80 a day. Be careful and check your receipts if your are paying inside. I definitely will be more careful when paying here.

I filled up here 1-2 times a week on my way to work. What was I thinking! Also, I just watched the gas attendant harass a lady here this week. She had a flat and the attendant told her to move from the side area where no one was at to the air/water area. Her tire was visibly torn, so air was not the issue. It just looked like the attendant wanted to make this lady's day worse. I can't get behind bad people and bad business. Go to the Chevron right next to the freeway, it's actually less expensive and the attendants don't bother you. Oh, and never buy a car wash here. It "broke" right after I paid for a wash.

I always purchase the $12 car wash it's decent and saves me time and some money while avoiding to take it to those car washes that detail everything. Quality wise, it can be a hit or miss, for the most part, it does a decent job for my jeep. Gas here is also a hit or miss, since it's near by the 405, the prices can be competitive. I hardly pump gas here, if I do, it's because I'm low or too lazy to drive across town to my preferred gas station. I have not experienced any negative vibes here, just be aware of your surroundings since it is in a sketchy area and sometimes homeless people are across the gas station.

And it's just down the block from the crappy, little parking lot where I sat terrified long enough that I finally called my long-lost sister. I told myself I couldn't leave, I wouldn't move until I'd made the call. Half an hour later, after nearly peeing my pants I finally called. She's awesome. Now married to a guy she loves with a sweet, little daughter that I get to see photos of nearly every day. And it was at her wedding that I finally, FINALLY got to meet my long-lost brother.
