I did not understand how these stretching and posture exercises could help reduce the pain. I was wrong. The therapist targeted my exercises and stretching to alleviate my specific pain issues. The staff was confident, friendly and extremely thorough. They asked the right questions, evaluated my images and concerns. I experienced a slight reduction of pain after my very first session. Today, after four weeks of sessions, I feel like a brand new woman. My pain has been significantly reduced and I feel great. This was not to be the case! Sunil and his staff are so gentle, they never push you past your limits and there was minimal pain. The most gentle physical therapist ever, and extremely knowledgable about shoulders in particular. I trust this place completely and if I ever need PT again I won't hesitate to return. I had made an appointment for the massage... and I scooted over there after work one evening. Now, downtown Utica is a very unique area. The chiropractic center looks to be an old converted house that has been turned into an office area. Not too bad, however, I felt like I was walking up the driveway just to come into the office. Which, in fact... it turned out I was. I wasn't really greeted by the desk staff.... I was more of greeted by my massage therapist. Tina was her name... and she seemed to be relatively speeding me along.. (because I was late I'm sure) I was led around the office to show me it, and then I was taken downstairs where the massage therapy room was. It was a massage therapy bed, in front of a natural gas fireplace. She instructed me to go down to wherever I was comfortable with... and to leave all my items in a basket. And then? I was treated to one of the better massages I have had in quite some time. Tina was hitting all the little knots that were hiding in my back... and I will tell you, I was quite impressed with her ability to hit everything I needed to get hit. I will have to say that at least for the massage part of it all... it was fantastic. I definately will be seeing her again soon now that all the spring sports are starting up. :)

During my first session Charlie immediately noticed postural and structural issues that are very clearly the root cause. Through his unique blend of massage and stretching, he was able to help loosen muscles that have been perpetually tight from years of improper posture and movement.
