Definitely recommend visiting and trying some yummy items. Heads up it is cash only.

This pie was basically made of paper thin crust with small diced canned apples with pudding. I confirmed with the worker that this pie had regular apple slices like a normal apple pie and she said yes but the top had whip cream on it. She never mentioned anything about the pudding. I called and the shop did nothing to compensate even when I was told the wrong thing. Very disappointed that this is a bakery and the worst pie I've ever eaten.

The Cheesecake Lady in Pittston Pennsylvania - 6/18/2026 (Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake)…read moreHello everyone, I'm enjoying my vacation with a stop in Pittston at a charming spot called The Cheesecake Lady. It's a cozy little place with big flavors. You can grab a slice or order a whole cheesecake, and from today's selection, I went with the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. As you can see in the video, it was loaded with fluffy, peanut buttery goodness. This treat was rich, delicious, and downright amazing. I caught a glimpse of "the lady" herself, busy in the back making cakes, but I met "the cheesecake man," who offered warm and welcoming service--something I truly appreciate. Until next time, be blessed and stay safe. Watch our video review of the cheesecake lady cheesecake https://youtu.be/Fk0c2xgy_oQ

Sooooo goood & so many great choices!…read more There were so many different kinds of cheesecake I wanted to try them all. I saw this place when I first got into the Poconos District for the weekend and knew undoubtedly I was going to make a stop before heading back home to DC. lol. Let me be the first to say, this place is a must stop! The cheesecake was hands-down, bona fide, banging!! I had the pumpkin cheesecake and strawberry cheese cake slice. Both were delicious, with the pumpkin cheesecake being my favorite! I also purchased two carrot cake, cupcakes at the recommendation of a local patron, and it did not miss the mark! Everything I purchased was fantastic! The slices are huge and they also offer half and whole cheesecakes. I say go big or go home ....Besides, you can have leftovers if you want (no judgement zone here. lol!). In addition, there is a section of frozen cheesecakes and sampler portions/cuts to go, which is a perfect idea for those that are visiting and heading back home to their final destinations from a weekend spending time here. In all, you can't go wrong with making a stop here. The customer service and hospitality was exceptional, and the cashier-attendee that assisted me was very nice. She answered all the questions I had regarding their products and even gave some personal recommendations which led me to the delicious pumpkin cheesecake that was the highlight of my visit! The only thing I would say that is not necessarily a negative, but I think it is just good to know is to not expect this place to be cheap. Just because it's in a small town are off a roadside. The cheesecake and sweets goods are a little under pricey side , but hey ....... Coming from DC. It's still a deal and cheap in my book for handmade artesian baked goods that are a slice of heaven. I definitely recommend and will keep this place on repeat for my next visit when in the area!

I smiled and said "No. I'm just picking up our takeout." She said "They're fresh baked today." I don't know about you, but I'm a mere mortal. And the fact is, I was running a few minutes early for my takeout. So I went inside. It's mostly a blur at this point, but they had kind of a traditional, but creative, homestyle cookie and a few different varieties. I ordered a large Peanut Butter Cup cookie and some sort of Apple caramel deal. My ideal cookies are soft, warm and full of stuff. Extra points if the cookie is so fresh, that it collapses from its own weight when you hold it from the side. That's exactly what these cookies were. They were literally perfect to me. As enthusiastically as I can give a 5 Star Review, I give it to Got Cookies. And it's in a plaza with other great food businesses like Wingz and a Prayer and AJ's Parm House.
