Cute little bakery that offers pastries, milkshakes, coffees and light bites. There is also a section for wine. You can also pre-order off of their catering menu for upcoming parties or events, from small pastries like pastelitos and empanadas to lechón and trays of rice, salads, and sides...etc. Everything looked very good and the items I tried were very good, service was good as well. I can't wait to go back to try some sweets on my next trip. P.S. A lot of people ordered their croquetas when I was there, so I would assume those are good to try there.

I absolutely love the Pan con Bistec from this Bakery. Been enjoying this delicious gem for over 10 years. Whether you dine in or order take out I never leave dissatisfied. One more thing to mention the guava pastry are a must!

Best Croquettas!! Ladies that work here are always happy to help. Food is always fresh.

This was simply unacceptable. I ordered this breakfast sandwich thinking it would come as any other Cuban breakfast sandwich; toasted, buttery, and with the little papita sticks. To my surprise it was nothing I'd hoped for because it's a CUBAN BAKERY; they could do no wrong! Boy was I mistaken... instead I got this SAD sandwich that was falling apart with little to no effort and a few more seconds and they would've burnt the eggs. I also got a ham croqueta which was horrific; the fakest most processed croqueta I've ever seen. Quite disappointed.

Immediate thoughts: they could've thought of a more unique name for this bakery. Like come on, El Bakery at 186? Step up your name game! I've been to this bakery quite a few times, it's a solid bakery to say the least. Their croquetas, i feel, are some of the best in the area, easily beating out Vicky Bakery's. The food is also cheap. I went for breakfast and for $4 I had scrambled eggs with cheese, ham and onions, that also includes a tostada. The tostadas are okay, I prefer them to be en la plancha. Their pastelitos are also delicious, especially their cheese pastelitos. I never tried their desserts, but by their appearance they're nothing special, and look overly sweetened just like every other Cuban pastry, which is why I've refrained from trying them. Overall, it's a good bakery, could be better. But for the price, it's just right!

Our family have been costumers for over 10 years. We love their steaks sandwiches, but this is the second time that we buy them and they are just not the same. Their steaks use to be well seasoned full of flavor. The sandwiches we bought were tasteless, the meat was dry and tasted as if it had been refrigerated for days. The meat looked dry and hard as a sole. They either changed who cooks and prepares the food or they are just not making the effort to give customers what they pay for.

We catered our Cuban pork, friend plantains, black beans and white rice for our cuban thanksgiving (few days early for family in town). The pork was delicious!! It was juicy and filled with flavor. The beans were also very tasty. Of all the places we have purchased Cuban food from, this is definitely my favorite and would recommend for others to try.

Nice place for breakfast in a run down strip mall. The food was good and well priced. Service was very good, even on a busy Saturday morning.

Great cakes, all the classic Cuban pastries, and pastelitos and croquetas to die for (or from?)…read more What a way to go! I came here because more than a few people told me about their guava pastelitos. Let me just say, not all guava pastelitos are created equally! You get that after having one of their perfectly flaky and sweet guava pastries. They've been worked on by traditional bakers who know what they're doing. This also extended to the guava and cheese and cheese only pastelitos. So addicting. They'll ruin you for any other. This is a dive in a tiny strip mall with limited parking. There's no seating inside, so it's strictly grab-and-go. They're very efficient and nice.

Croquetas are my favorite here. Everything else it's just average and typical Cuban bakery stuff…read more The staff is quick to attend but getting good service is a flip of a coin. Sometimes great, others not very pleasant. This looks and feels like any Hialeah bakery that needs some TLC since it looks like it's stuck in 1998. Parking is terrible and sometimes dangerous because people driving on West 4th Ave confuse it with the Daytona 500 race track. But it's worth it for the croquetas. Here is a pro tip: croquetas are $1. But 25 party croquetas is around $8 as of this writing. But you get so much more for your money. If that's too much for you, just share them with friends or family...
