    Administration hall way ..

This is my second tome coming here, it was easy to find and parking is not bad here at all. Unless I was just lucky the two times I came here. The campus is big and there gonna contraction so it looks like another building is coming. Headed to the administration office if you look too your left the view is breath taking, it a Mountain View it's something you can differentially get lost in thought. The people the admin office are college students, not too professional but there kids so what do you expect. We walked up and half of them are in their own conversation just laughing, good times. That being said there was no wait when we walked up and our question was answered and the girl seemed like she knew what she was talking about and if she didn't she wouldn't make up anything lol. It's a beautiful campus.

I got my associates degree here in two years, so yes people it is possible! I think a lot of people come here with an attitude that this place sucks, and as a result are miserable here. I was never unhappy about going here. I saved a ton of money coming here for the first two years of college. There are some awesome teachers here in the anthropology and psychology department. The school isn't new, fancy, or special in anyway, but it's still awesome. If I could choose to come to BC over again I would totally do it. On a side note: yes there are some dumb people who just go there to waste time, and there are a lot of older people. These two groups of people have lead to some of the most hilarious classroom discussions that leave you scratching your head and looking like "O_0"...

School is big, they have so much to offer, but parking sucks if you dont buy a pass, be careful with your car, they have public safety officers, it is a good school

Both have been supportive, knowledgeable, and clearly care about student growth. I truly appreciate the instruction and guidance I received from them throughout the program. They have both helped me in furthering my education and focusing on my career. With that being said, I did experience some challenges with communication along the way with the overall school itself. There were times when I reached out with issue or concern and it would either take weeks or I didn't receive a response at all, when certain things were discussed or promised and I felt they weren't fully followed through. This made parts of the process more stressful than they needed to be, especially in a program that already requires a lot of dedication and effort. This is not an easy program, and it's important to understand that you have to be determined and willing to put in the work. This is not something that's handed to you--you truly have to earn it. However, I will say that if you remain persistent and advocate for yourself, the school does make efforts to support you and follow through. Overall, while there is room for improvement in communication, the quality of education and the commitment of key staff members made the experience worthwhile for me and I know this schooling experience will stay with me the rest of my life

I created this account just today to inform anyone interested in knowing. When I found out they closed down and I wanted to see if other people had similar horrible experience has I did. I was flabbergasted when I found a review (3 reviews down) under my name. Which they misspelled my first name as Destiny. Then wrote a "glowing" review of experience "I" had during my time there. I knew it was "me" because of the name, I did attending during July 2021 and they had information about previous courses I've taken they got from the resume I GIVEN THEM WHEN I APPLIED HERE. I was horrified they had the audacity to do this. I hope no joined the program because of that review. My personal experience there was fine until the end where Ann (who I am confident wrote 'my review') treated me extremely unprofessional and shouted at me where students right next to us heard everything, when I stated I couldn't do externship hours during the week she gave me and asked if reschedule them another week. I have never had anyone treated me the way she had to me and actually demotivated me to continue a career as a Phlebotomist. Anyways, just wanted to warn everyone they wrote fake reviews under previous students name and taken information they had from their records. I'm glad they shut down.

Cont. I also would check the google reviews as well as the better business bureau reviews as a lot of them mention the same thing i talked about above! i'm proud to say I still was able to get my certification elsewhere with a much better experience. however if you are looking for a cheaper alternative this is one way to go just be prepared for how they treat their students.

I signed up for a…read moreclass on "working on charging stations for electric vehicles" and the instructors even claimed that I would be ready to begin a job in this industry soon after completing the class. Lies. What ended up happening was that all we got was a slideshow about electric vehicles the first day of class (to technically count as an electric vehicle class, it's just a front), the rest of the class had nothing to do with what had been advertised to us. The reason for this class to exist is so that the college can keep getting grant money, the more falsely advertised "classes" they have, the more grant money they get. They have many other classes that have similar titles or promises, like hydrogen vehicle class and other examples. Don't sign up for them, you'll just end up with what I got, a waste of time. The class was just a construction safety class and IBEW orientation course (which isn't necessarily bad, but I could've easily gotten this much quicker and easier on my own, instead of wasting a whole month of life going to these classes after getting lured by false advertising). Specifically, don't sign up for any class taught by Steve Manson, this guy lied to our faces so that he could swindle the state out of that sweet sweet grant money so that he can buy his pretentious designer suits and his precious little menthol cigarettes.

Once you're enrolled if you have FA questions just schedule an appointment, you won't get answers via email. I completed a full year of the pre reqs, it was difficult but manageable! I loved all of the professors! I did learn a lot from them. My cohort was fun, no drama and everyone worked together and got along (I guess many didn't hear that) lol Come to taking the TEAS. Unfortunately this is where the road ended for me at Martha Fuerst. I failed twice (not blaming the school or anyone else) originally, I was told I had to wait 3 months to retake it again (but that meant I wouldn't be with my same cohort) but that's okay. I have friends at the San Diego campus and they WERE able to retake theirs in 3 months as anticipated but not me. I later was told I had to wait a FULL year from my last test date which was 12/2023. Umm? Well that sucks! I knew I couldn't just sit around and not do any schooling so I searched for a different school. (I won't say which) but I retook my teas 02/2024 at a different school and passed. And so.... I emailed Martha fuerst and said will I be able to use these results? I was told no. If I wanted to re apply then I can in December and would have to retake the teas because they do not accept outside TEAS scores. Thats weird? Because I know students from my cohort definitely used their outside TEAS scores and submitted it. Also, you need a 2.7 to continue. Before it was a 2.5. So I know a few other students didn't cont. on also. They were to attend a community college and retake those classes they got low scores on and submit them to cont. at MF. (I didn't have GPA problems) but the Teas kicked my butt. It's unfortunate because I really liked this school but I suppose the universe is directing me a different route.
