Whatever you do, don't order cupcakes from the bakery. I ordered my son's birthday cupcakes a week in advance. Shortly after, I received a call from the cake decorator explaining that the color I requested couldn't be used because it would "bleed through," and she repeatedly tried to convince me to order a cake instead--even though I specifically wanted cupcakes. Then, just 18 hours before my son's party, I received another call saying one of the cake decorators had called out sick and suggesting that I cancel my order and go somewhere else. That was completely unrealistic. There was no way I could find another bakery to take and complete an order within 18 hours. Overall, the communication and lack of reliability caused unnecessary stress right before my child's birthday. read more

What makes this Supermarket great is the hard-working staff. They stepped up during the pandemic and since, have been continuously making improvements to their infrastructure and quality of goods. They have a Florist, Bakery, Deli, Produce, Seafood, Meats, Dairy, Liquor, Bank, Pharmacy, etc. Always clean and well managed. read more

I have gotten the fried chicken from Bakers at least a dozen or so times. It has been my husbands favorite fried chicken but tonight when I took a bite of my chicken, I found a rather nasty surprise. A HUMAN HAIR!!!! And this wasn't just a little hair as you can see in the picture it's a rather long piece maybe two. I feel sick to my stomach! I feed this chicken to my husband and a 4 year old child before I ate hair! I pray we don't get sick and I will NEVER again buy their chicken or anything that they make. Delivery is no longer worth the cost thanks to Instacart. I live in a ground floor apartment, no stairs, just in the main entrance and 20 feet to my door. Delivery person said they are no longer allowed to enter any premises so groceries were left outside on the sidewalk. Granted it was Instcart, but they are representing Baker's. On principle, Instacart has cost Baker's a customer. read more

I've shopped at this location for over 10 years and each time the experience only gets worse. If Bakers wants everyone to use self checkout why don't they have a bigger area, not everyone is buying a few items. You'll have 1 checker with a huge line and everything else is self checkout. Not to mention employees standing around just watching you instead of opening up another register. I will get myself in the habit of shopping somewhere else not that bakers care about losing 1 customer. read more

I've never reviewed a grocery store before - but I'm always telling my husband how amazing this Baker's is - so I figured I might as well share it with the rest of the world! Admittedly, this Baker's gets my business because it is one of three options close to my house. I will say, though, that after trying out the other two options, I pretty much shop exclusively here. The awesome things? -The pharmacy staff is awesome, and the pharmacy has awesome hours for being inside of a grocery store. -The US Bank branch inside the store is super convenient. -The cashiers are AMAZING. When my boys were smaller, I would go in with my (very large!) WIC shopping trips, and they treated me great. They would even close down a lane so that they could get me out of their quickly without annoying other customers. -Super easy to find someone to help you out if you have any questions. I've had a few hiccups. The deli is lacking in the customer service department. The young guys helping customers don't seem very well trained, and the ladies in the back don't have the patience to help them out. I love their chicken dinners, and its been such a pain getting with pricing errors and slow staff that I don't even bother anymore. And no, it is not as well stocked as the other Bakers locations are. The Hispanic grocery selection is pretty much non-existent, unless you want some Ortega taco shells or enchilada sauce. I would really like to see that expanded. Overall, amazing place to shop! I am there a few times a week. Don't see that changing anytime soon. read more

I hate having to drive across to Omaha to find gluten free items so I decided to check this place out. They have LOTS of organic and gluten free options. My son loves the cheese gluten free pizza. I am a senior and yesterday was in the Bakers on Galvin Rd, Bellevue, NE. A young man helped me quite a lot while I was scanning my groceries. His name was Sam, and I just wanted to tell you of the thoroughness he served to his customer. Sometimes we are challenged by technology, but make the efforts - but it is nice to see someone with the right attitude on those checkout lanes to truly help us. read more

I LOVE Baker's but this one reminds me of a No Frills... But I just wanted to review this place to bring awareness that they SELL EXPIRED FOOD! Not just one time did I get home and realize that I had an expired item! Such a waste of money and time. And by the time I get home, I don't feel like going back to the house... especially when it is cold. I don't understand what is so difficult with doing inventory correctly! The staff--- NO WHERE NEAR AS PLEASANT as the Twin Creek supermarket. I rarely get asked if I need any help. Workers just walk pass me without saying a WORD! So... I'll stick to Baker's Twin Creek location... OR Wal-Mart Marketplace on Capehart... On the positive side- Baker's does have a rewards program where you get money off on gas at Kwik Shop for the money spent at Baker's. read more

I am loyal to this Baker's only because it is the closest grocery store to my house. The employees are generally pretty friendly, but definitely not consistently. If you need help finding something, do not expect an employee to ask if you're finding everything ok. They won't. & if you ask them where an item is, the chances they'll know or will help you find it are pretty slim. This location does have an all-natural section in the back which I greatly appreciate, but they don't have all of their frozen meatless options consolidated in the area. The produce is usually stocked well & the fruits & vegetables look healthy. I have purchased expired food from this location multiple times. You'd think I would learn to check the expiration date before purchasing products, but alas, I'm too trustworthy. If you have a choice between locations, go to the Baker's in Twin Creek instead. read more

If it wasn't for Diego and a couple of other great employees I wouldn't shop here anymore. ALWAYS understaffed or you have other employees watching customers bag their own groceries and just stand there like they don't know what their job is. In 20 years the service went from A+ to a C at best. Why do you need multiple employees at the self checkout area? Management at this location is POOR! They have a big attitude if they have to come out and do something they think is beneath them. Disappointed because I've shopped at this location for years. I may need to switch stores. read more

The staff here does seem to ignore customers. They do not have near the variety of items as the Twin Creek Bakers, or the Capehart Walmart Market. The one good thing is they at least have the self check out lanes open at all hours which helps when they only have one regular lane open and you just a few items and want to get home after working all day. Bakers does offer a reward card program which gets you savings at the pump at the Kwik-Shop, which there happens to be one across the street. There is a US Bank branch within this store too. read more

I used to go to this Baker's all the time as a child and into my early teens. However, this store is not as great as I remember it to be. Somehow, none of the older staff I remember, remember me. Moreover, the staff are not friendly toward me whatsoever and never inquire as to how I am doing or whether or not I need help; and I always need help in this store. I only come here when I am on this side of Bellevue. I'll stick to the Twin Creek store from now on. I am updating this review as I've recently been injured and I came into this Baker's to pick up cat food. Not only did I need help scanning it at self checkout, I needed help to my car, too. The attendant didn't ask, or even think twice about why I needed her to scan it. I got a "what are you doing?" As I backed away from it to give her room to scan it. I'm assuming she thought I was just being lazy. I've never gotten any help in this store and have always needed it in some form. Very disappointed. read more

I stopped to chat and she told me that she was suppose to b at Baker"s, but they told her she'd have to sit outside. It was a very cold day. SHAME ON U BAKER'S! It is with sadness that I have to write this review. I was in the store today 10/01/2020 as I am almost everyday, I saw something that turns my stomach. First I will say this was my grocery store of choice, it is smaller that the rest of the Bakers in the Omaha area, it has less inventory then that the rest of the Bakers in the Omaha area. It has that small town store feel and that is what I liked. At about 2.50 p.m. today I watched one of the store's (Baker's on Galvin) personal shoppers, while filling orders drop a package of cheese on the floor in front of the cheese cooler. Next (I still am having a hard time comprehending what happened next. He picked the package of cheese along with one he had in his hand and put them back in the box of the cheese that was already in the cooler. When I asked him not to do that, he thought it was funny and said it's not like it's not packaged. When I strongly asked him to get his manager, he just ignored me and when on handling packaged food. I took the two contaminated packages of cheese from the cooler and went looking for the manager. I found Matt the manager and took him back to the cooler. When I informed him of the incident and what I say and heard, he seamed not very concerned with it. I asked him if he was going to pull the contaminated box of cheese he said yes, but did not do it. While we are in front of the cooler while I am waiting for him to pull the cheese another personal shopper employee is handling cheese in the same area. I had to leave the store. I did call the department of agriculture food and safety and report what I had witnessed. I went back to the store to try and talk some sense into Matt. Anyone who treats some else's food with that lack respect should not be handling someone else's food. It is obvious that this store (Baker's on Galvin) is not concerned with food safety or the safety of it's customers. I have feed my family from that store for the last 5 years. Today that stops. I love going to my Bakers on Wednesdays or Thursdays, AFTER they get their shipments. It may not have the same variety as the Twin Creek Bakers, but I have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is always courteous and I am always asked how I am doing or if I need any help finding anything! Maybe it depends on the time of day, but I enjoy my shopping trips there. read more

Been dealing with Bakers since 2004. They are family, and friends. There is always a smile, a compliment, how are doing, or I have missed you. The pharmacy has my back, and if something is wrong with my prescriptions they are the first to notify me, and contact the doctor, to resolve it quickly. They have my back. Better than most doctors around here. I love my Bakers on Galvin. They have my business, I get the fuel points, and that's great. read more

I have been shopping at the Bakers on Galvin for 2 years ever since I moved to this side of Bellevue. I have had lots of interaction with the staff. I love this store. The people here are awesome!!! I particularly love the regular staff at the pharmacy they are very knowledgeable and friendly and really seem to care. The front end staff that have been there for some time our fantastic! They use to hire great teens but I think for awhile now they are not taking the time to train them on customer service. Eye contact, smiling, "Thank you for shopping at Baker's" but I am hopeful it was a holiday rush thing. It is always clean and organized. I just SUPER wish they would do the same remodel that they did at Twin Creek!!! The older gentleman at the meat and seafood counter has no problem giving GREAT service and lately the young tall one with glasses went above and beyond! Thank you Bakers!!! read more
