That being said, I didn't make it past Brewster (started in Hyannis), so I'm not sure what's beyond that point. I'd come back for sure!

If you haven't been to a skatepark before, wear pads and watch out for other skaters. The vibes are good here and people look out for each other. My favorite obstacle is the mini-pyramid.

Harvard University is on a power trip and tickets cars that otherwise wouldn't be ticketed if it were the BPD. Got a ticket for not paying a meter on a Sunday. Every car on the street did. Clearly they're making up their own rules.

Once you get to the top of that, you have a chance to see a nice view of the city to your left. Along the way to the top and if you keep going a little father there are multiple trail paths that jet off. It was easily on its way to being a five-star review. Unfortunately, I didn't get to explore as much of the trail(s) as I wanted, as I started to feel unsafe. Walking from the parking lot to the trail I was approached by 2 different people asking for money, and as I was walking the beginning of the trail, I noticed one of them following a little behind me. Although I had my pepper spray on me, I didn't want to be in a position where something could possibly escalate, so I cut through and back to the beginning of the trail and avoided the interaction. If you are going to this trail, I'd advise bringing a hiking buddy.

Staff is friendly and The facilities are clean (or as clean as a skate park might be aka stickers everywhere). Most importantly, the bathrooms are clean! There are lockers you can use to store your stuff. Bring your own lock. There's a skate shop and a couple of different areas different styles of ramps. There are lots of areas for parents to hang out or kids to chill and eat food. There's even a couch and some upholstered chairs for watching skate videos. Bring your own snacks or buy food from the snack bar or the vending machines. Not a whole lot of options, but there is hot coffee and tea. If you want more than snacks, I recommend bringing food in. Prices are $25 for a three hour session or $50 for the entire day. Skate parks and scooters are available to rent for 10 bucks. It feels like a pretty good value when you compare it to the cost of other activities such as snowboarding for over $100 a day. You can even rent the place for private parties for $200 per hour certain days.
