All three of my kids enjoy the experience. It probably only took about 45 minutes total. The berries were really tasty which says a lot for this time of year because I think they're out of season. There's a large selection of non-house made treats as well, including a large selection of Harry Potter candy and merchandise. While I understand why they forbid strollers--it's a tight space and probably has old floors--they've lost our business more than once by making it impossible for us to go inside as a family.

When I think of mom and pop shops like this, I think of the owner or someone close to the owner running the shop, greeting customers and making people feel welcome. When I visited, there was a teenager working who clearly didn't have any stake in the success of the business. She was unfriendly, disinterested and didn't engage in any type of dialogue. I get it, I was 16 once and didn't care much about my job...but if I was the owner of this shop, I'd want to know and be sure to have people working there that represent my brand in a different way. I politely apologized to the girl who seated us about how large our party was, and mentioned how upset all the employees seemed by our large party. She didn't know what to say other than, "We had a water spill on the other side." Anyway, she walked to the back, told her co-workers, and I could see them looking at our table once again with irritation. Caleb, our waiter, was very nice, but it wasn't enough to offset the rudeness of the other employees. We all ordered an ice cream and 3 baskets of fries. By the time I got home, I was extremely sick.
