    DON'T BUY FROM THESE SHYSTERS!!!! I ordered what I thought was going to be a 6 lb. brick of BELLA FRANCESCA low-moisture whole milk mozzarella, as pictured on their website. I should have noticed and been suspicious that the brand was not specified in the product description. They shipped me Jacobo's mozzarella, which has twice the sodium per serving. I wanted Bella Francesca specifically because of the much lower sodium content. When I emailed them asking for an authorized return, they asked me for pictures, including the packaging. I wasn't happy about that, but I sent pictures anyway. Since then, they've stonewalled me. I've called and been put on hold, then cut off; called and left a message, never got a return call; sent numerous follow up emails, got bupkis. My next step is to dispute the charge on my AmEx. I don't expect to win, but I want to make it a pain for them. Then I will flame them on every social media platform and review site available to me. Baker's Authority, I hope all the negative publicity was worth it for a lousy 65 bucks or so.

    We ordered a case of active dry yeast from this company. They charged us for a full case but only sent a single pack (1 of 12). They REFUSED to refund the money for the remaining items, even after repeated requests and a dispute was filed with Paypal. Then the single item they did manage to send was dead and did not work, anyway. This company is engaging in fraudulent transactions and will take payment for items they don't have and will not send.

    This company is the worst. Poor customer service. Few weeks ago I placed an order and I was sent a bag of flour without a label and another one without expiration date. Emailed customer service and Kathy Chavez replied back to send pictures of what I received and I did...no one hasn't contacted me yet after I sent the pictures. If you are not willing to take customers seriously, do not serve them and if not willing to take small order, do not advertise.

    It has been over 4 weeks since this delivery and have refused to reship my item until they win the case with UPS.

    Beware. Whatever you do, do not order from this company. I ordered the brown rice syrup in the 5 gallon pail and received it half spilled in the box, oozing out of the seams. I didn't think much of it as it could've been UPS's fault so I gave them a call to have it reshipped. Sandra told me she would need to file a claim and once they won the claim they would reship my item. I told her I couldn't wait as I needed it ASAP, and it wasn't my fault it came that way. She told me fine and rushed me off the phone. She asked for picture documentation of which I sent right away. 2 weeks later I didn't receive anything. I called to find out the status and Karen picked up the phone (Mind you these girls are absolutely miserable, mumbling into the phone with short answers like "huh? Ya? Don't know". When I explained to her what happened she said okay I'll ship it out, I said wait Sandra told me she'd ship it out 2 weeks ago. This is when Karen got bold and loud and said WELL IM IN CHARGE, NOT SANDRA AND IT SHIPS WHEN I SAY. And then of course she hung up on me. I called back, and she picked up yelling. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she said no one was there and she was in charge (solid power trip, it reminded me of when a parent puts a kid in charge for a few minutes while they head to the bathroom). Of course, like all cowards, she hung up on me again and I called at least 5 times after that and she would pick up and hang up without saying a word. 2 weeks after that incident I received and email from Sandra asking if I still wanted my order shipped? Seriously? What is going on with the company and does the owner have any idea what awful representation they have? They're running their business straight to the ground. I then spoke to Zomi the "supervisor" and she said Karen didn't want to talk to me anymore hence why she didn't send my package. She also said it's policy that they need to win the claim with UPS prior to reshipping the package. So let's get this straight, if you place an order with this company and something arrives damaged or spilling they hold on to your money until they win the claim with UPS. If they do not win the case they will dispute it until they do. It has been 6 weeks since the order has been placed and they have still not shipped it out the replacement. They're definitely crooks and have absolutely no integrity, professionalism or standards. We will be reaching out to all of the frustrated customers who have left awful reviews to see how this company has scammed and we will be pursuing legal action. The molehill could've been resolved amicably with some common sense and Integrity. Instead, the molehill is becoming a mountain.

    King Arthur flour

    Honestly only leaving a review because I see so many negative ones and I don't think it's right that people only review when things go wrong. My order of flour came timely with no issues to report. Reasonable price, decent shipping time (given the situation, it's actually great), and I love the product I purchased- King Arthur flour. I couldn't find it in the grocery store so I had to order this huge bag but it's not a bad problem to have.

    Since there is such a flour shortage at the moment I decided to order in bulk since we bake most of our own bread anyway. Got my order without any hiccups. Took about 8 days which is way faster than I thought it was going to be, since I'm sure they are swamped with orders right now. Package was well packed for shipping and the flour is of good quality and fresh. Super stoked about not having to worry for quite a while wether I can put fresh bread on the table or not. Thanks, and will order again from them.

    They sent food on a non refrigerated truck for 9 days. Food was spoiled. Poor communication and NO refund. NEVER AGAIN

    I was pleasantly surprised by the speed at which my order was filled. I ordered on Saturday and my 3 x 5lbs bags of flour arrived on Tuesday. I was previously looking at the supermarkets and at the bloated prices on Amazon. Baker's Authority seemed like a great alternative and they delivered. All flour came in nice resealable bags that were also individually bagged in clear plastic with a knot. Nothing spilled, the one silver bag's seal was opened a bit but since the bag was folded over for shipping nothing spilled out. The silver bags made it easy to wipe down upon arrival giving a little extra peace of mind. I weighed the bags and everything was 5+LB, don't know the weight of the bags themselves but there was plenty of extra weight on the scale to compensate. Will definitely order again, thank you.

    WORST EVER. DO NOT buy from them. A whole bag of flour was SPILLED ALL OVER as they did not wrap the bag well. I paid much for the shipping and it's worth much than you just put the plastic bag flour in the paper box - don't try to defend yourself with your carriere - I called them and they said with this distance and weight, they are charging less than what we paid. And, this flour comapny did not get back to me until 6 days after I emailed them about the issue : I sent them 7 pictures about the spill-overs and the whole mess, they were still asking me to keep the spilled flour and package, and wait until the carrier came to check. Bommm, thet just disappearred! Never get back to me anymore. Are these people in this company just ignorant and don't care about their customer loyalty? OK, then GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR ONE-TIME PURCHASER! Baker's authority, do not reply to this comment if you still try to defend yourself with the carrier.

I said, I don't know how many pound it is.. but I can open and you can count there is 24pcs.. he said, how you know there is 24pcs.. I said the case itself wrote 24 single head and I bought it for many years already...he said miss,in English 24 single head doesn't mean 24pcs.. can anyone explain to me what 24 single head mean... And we said, if you want you can get a new case if you doesn't trust us... and guest what he say.. YOU HAVE TO GET IT YOURSELF...IM NOT HELPING YOU... great customer service... we go and get a new case, end up, it is 40lb... guest what he said, he say who told you we sell by case... I said I went to a lot of restaurant depot, it all sell by case... AND THE PROFESSIONAL MANAGER SAID, OTHER RESTAURANT DEPOT SELL BY CASE BECAUSE THEY ARE IDIOT...Great explanation given... The point is, you can scan the item by case but you are telling me you are not selling it by case... I asked the manager OSCAR, the only explanation given is we are not selling by case... great job..! Now the case is, as you can see at the picture, the chicken is label 1.5lb each.so, 1.5lb multiply by 24 single head equals to 36lb.... You can see my receipt, it is tysn Cornish 36lb.. I don't know it's because of the fluid on the frozen chicken, the box and so on, that's why 40lb.The amount in our case is 24pcs of Cornish chicken... so there's nothing wrong with it...a close look to the packaging, it wrote it contain less than 4% retained water... I believe here is why it is 40lb.. Even your own website, do sell by case and the price is $107... we need an explanation.. We end up making a refund, since they are not letting us bring the whole case back... NO REFUND RECEIPT IS ISSUED...Didn't ask my card or whatever... when I ask the manager for refund receipt, he just said, we did already... bye...YOU BETTER GIVE ME A REFUND, IF I DIDNT, IM GONNA MESS AROUND WITH YOU... I will never be back to this store. I never seen a manager to be so unprofessional... even used the word idiot to describe your own franchise... no customer service at all... no knowledge on the item sell at their own store... I hope, the owner could do something with this... who knows in the future, we bought a case of shrimp that is full of iced, and being accused as stealing extra shrimp from other packing... we will all be the victim easily with this no knowledge manager... restaurant depot should be more professional in training their staff especially when it come to manager... Manager is the most important person to deal with the customer.. with this manager attitude and knowledge, your business will definitely go downhill.. no doubt..

Knew that there were lots of kitchen supply stores in and around LES. So wandered around seeing if stores had the doughnut cutter. Got referred to this place by another store. It was busy and I was able to find the doughnut cutter easily in their well organized shelves. Easy fast transaction with the friendly staff and will definitely be back instead of buying something on Amazon!

For my visit, I knew what I wanted for my foray into making pizza dough, I needed a container to store my rising dough. I also needed a bunch of squeeze bottles so knew exactly what to ask for. I didn't need much interaction with staff, but I was able to find one staff member who was very helpful pointing me in the right direction for what I needed and finding the cover to the container I was going to buy. I was in and out quickly on a Saturday afternoon so I'd say if you know what you want and are ok with a little less than 5 star service for the price,.. you should be ok.
