HIDDEN COFFEE SHOP…read more.. I heard about this urban legend for years but this morning I had to get to the bottom of it and hunted for it by gps, and guess what? IT REALLY EXISTS.... Located deep in NE Weston, tucked behind a Shell gas station cushioned against W StRd 84, is this coffee shop called Watts & Coffee. This cafe began inside of Alex's Bicycle Pro Shop years ago with a simple coffee machine to support the local bicycle clubs. A few months ago, the bicycle shop was purchased by new owners who placed a semi-secure (EDITED...it is on wheels and seldomly moves except for special events and catering) coffee truck in the front parking lot of the business, which is currently closed and opens at 10am. Of course I took pics, but its so odd that you must see it for yourself to understand. As I drive into the secluded (not scary though) parking lot, I observe bicycles stationary at a bike rack in front of a large food truck with the name Watts & Coffee displayed on the face of the truck and a wide open window with a guy inside. A small wooden table sporting an umbrella for shade to the side with three bicycle enthusiasts wearing their full bicycle attire sitting with their coffee chatting. Still unsure of this place but very curious. I met with the sole employee, Juan, who happily greeted me and discussed the pastries and Italian coffee options. The inside boasted two old time full aprons hanging on the wall, beautiful shiny steel espresso machine and several pastry items in a display case which includes: Pon de Bona, Chicken Empanada, Ham and Cheese Bread, Tequeno, Blueberry and Cinnamon Muffins - most items for $3.99. Some cold drinks offered are Red Bull, Celsius, Izze Sparkling Soda and of course Gatorade. For true coffee gurus they sell a gourmet specialty pouch of Watts&Coffee 100% Arabica for $17.99 - i guess there are flakes of gold mixed inside the grinds. They also advertise a 16oz frothy coconut refreshing drink for $7.99. OK, the shot of the Italian espresso was very hot and delish, not uncommon though, but at a steep $3.99, which is at the higher end for a single espresso. Just a very little coffee shop with a unique twist. I will return soon to try the blueberry muffin. Strong 3.7 star rating during this adventure.

He was very friendly and helpful in picking our items. He was also extremely knowledgeable with coffee/espresso. Love going to a coffee shop that actually knows what they're doing. Ended up getting a Cortado and my wife got the Americano with caramel. Both were DELICIOUS! So good so that I bought a bag of their beans which are roasted locally by a roaster in Coral Springs. The Cortado was smooth and silky with perfectly textured milk. Also grabbed a slice lemon blueberry cake as well as a beef empanada. Couldn't be happier. They have some seating in there which was made out of pallets and wood. Super cool. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee, run, don't walk here.

They have an extensive menu with a lot of unique artisan coffee and tea drinks. There's something on the menu for everyone

The spot was very aesthetic with many seats to sit down have a good drink with a friend. My son and me ordered a kongo matcha and a maui waui. Both my son and me loved our drinks. We especially loved how they have bottle drinks which is pretty cool. Hadn't seen it at another spot. Parking can be a bit tricky so always keep that in mind

I didn't realize how close this place was to me so I will definitely be visiting more frequently. Their set up is nice. There is a shared area where you can sit under the shade and there is a turf area where it looks like they have some things to keep children entertained for a bit so this place is also family friendly. The space is shared with another truck but I think they serve food. At Whole Latte Monkeys I was sad to see that the truck was not open on the inside, but from what I could see, the set up and decor inside the truck was very cute. I placed my order at the window, and got a Lavender iced Matcha latte with oat milk, a vanilla latte with oat milk and a Papito Chulo with oat milk. As I was ordering, I realized some of the names of the drinks are named after some of the monkeys they have shown on display in the truck which was a very cute touch. I wasn't able to read the stories of the monkeys, but I will certainly ask next time. The cashier/barista was very kind and patient while I decided what to order. I wasn't too crazy about the matcha, because I love a stronger, more astringent matcha, but the Papito Chulo was a hit and I would come back for that drink. Overall such a cute spot, great coffee and a hidden gem in this area. I'd definitely come back with friends and family to grab a drink, walk around the garden and relax.

I came in on a Sunday morning around 10am and it was super crowded, which was a good sign. Despite the crowd, the line moved fast and my order came out really quickly. They have more matcha flavors than anywhere else I've seen, so it was a hard choice. I ended up going with the marshmallow, and I'm super happy with my choice. The matcha and marshmallow flavors were both strong and complemented each other well. They have a pastry case that I completely missed because it's around the corner, or I might have tried something there too. I love the cute animal decor as well, and I don't believe they charged extra for alternative milks, which is always huge bonus points for me. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors and maybe an empanada!

I would recommend this as a good place to chat with a friend over a space for studying or working. Especially because I found the staff lovely and conversational. Their prices are far more reasonable than many other local coffee shops nearby which was definitely a major plus. I enjoyed the lavender latte, but would probably only get it hot in the future, and would try a different iced latte flavor. The spicy chicken empanada was delicious and I would definitely get it again. It had a nice curry sauce inside (though it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be). The ham and cheese sandwich was also surprisingly good. Though simple, they tasted like quality ingredients.

Complete Bridgerton explosion and I love it!…read more Little Hen is the perfect girl brunch/breakfast spot. The decor and ambiance is that of an exquisite tea party. They also have a lovely decorated patio for outdoor brunching on cooler days. Reservations are highly recommended on weekends as the restaurant does tend to fill up. We munched on the smoked salmon bagel and divorced eggs. Both were delicious. The drinks were perfectly made as well. I was a huge fan of the lavender tea latte. Light and creamy, topped with dried lavender buds for fragrance. With each sip, the fragrance filled my nostrils making my drink that much more enjoyable. Our smiling waitress recommended the Rose Petal Dream cocktail for "dessert". I absolutely love wait staff who senses the vibe and goes with it..lol. Of course it was delicious, garnished with a real rose petal. Presentation here was 10/10 with zero complaints. Bathrooms were clean with a fresh sent. The decor in there was also very pretty. Perfect for that bathroom selfie :-). There is ample free parking in front and around the restaurant. Little Hen Will see me again!

The restaurant has always had a nice atmosphere and is very pretty inside. Unfortunately this time the food was lacking. I had the Cuban bagel sandwich and my wife had the ham and egg omelette. It's was not a matter of the portion size and there was plenty of food. Something about the flavor was just off it was almost tasteless for both of us. The other thing I was bothered by was that they brought water to the table. Unbeknownst to use they put a charge on the check for the water. I'm not being petty, it was only $2.00 but it was not bottled or fancy water. When I ask what the charge was for, they immediately took it off the check. Are we at this point not. Cold water is a now being charged when they just bring it to your table. It comes down more to greedy owners.
