I live about twenty minutes from here, and I visited the farm for the first time this weekend. I did not know about it. Seeing the animals here made a really enjoyable visit- cows, chickens, goats and a rabbit. We bought milk, eggs. fruit and ice cream. I tried the tasty milk in my coffee drinks. The fruit was good. My husband has not tried the ice cream yet. I noticed they had butter, meat, yogurt, and a lot of different stuff available. Since we are around here weekly, we have to go back here, and try the food that looks good! The price was affordable, and I enjoy locally produced foods. read more

I got to visit Baily's Dairy this week and was so disappointed....that I didn't go sooner! What a great experience. We got to pet cows, goats, a baby calf...chickens and ducks. It was all so sweet and calming. The little shop had fresh eggs, AMAZING dairy made ice cream, lots of produce. They were out of a few things I'd like to have tried, but it's just a good excuse to go back, this time with the nieces and nephew, who would love it! read more

Baily's Dairy is awesome! The family run operation is above all else helpful and happy. After reaching out to see if my friend would be able to pet a baby, we were happily surprised by the length they went to make it a special trip for us. I took my friend over as a surprise for her birthday to meet the cows. We ended up being able to feed a couple of babies, and love on their grandma cow, Priscilla! Fresh good quality milk without the middleman. It's a farm so there are friendly animals around. Their ice cream is also very good although you might need to defrost it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Too bad they don't sell locally roasted coffee. read more

Showed up on a Friday and asked about the PA Ice Cream trail. Lady working the store was very rude, all short clipped answers that its only on weekends and it says so on the website. (I couldn't find that info before coming). When I mentioned I'd called multiple times trying to ask, the response was "oh she's never at the phone". Not sure why the business phone isn't in the staffed store... Didn't offer any information like hours on the weekends... just went back to her phone after this exchange. So we left without anything. I visited the charming spot yesterday for the first time.  I love to support local farms and dairies.  This has a homegrown feel, like it is very much a part of the community.  I bought some heavy cream, which is fantastic. I was hoping to buy ice cream, but I was disappointed when I read the label to see that the ingredients included sweeteners and stabilizers that are not necessarily considered healthy or "natural."  I have found this at several the small, local ice cream makers -not sure why they are adding these ingredients (?) Even Trader Joes sells its brand of ice cream made with only the basics:  Cream milk, cane sugar and natural flavorings, so I will continue to purchase my ice cream there; however, I would love to see these small, local dairies revert to just the basics in their ice creams! read more

We went here yesterday with our little boy and the moment he atepped down from the car, he fell in love with the place.. there were roosters walking around merrily, a goat had given birth to a new baby the same day, there were two baby goats playing with each other.. so the environment was so calming and peaceful.. we were first timers here and were guided very well on arrival.. we got milk and cream(what we originally went for) but we found out that we have to pay in cash as they dont accept cards and their atm machine in-store was out that day.. thestore keeper was so nice to say that you can take milk and cream and whatever you want and pay me next weekend when you come.. that was so nice and generous of him.. but we wanted to pay.. so my husband went out to nearby atm and got some cash while our little one went crazy over all the farm animals, specially the baby goat.. we got the stuff we needed and enjoyed the experience at the farm.. My son says that the milk tasted good when he had it.. so we will be back again!!! read more

If you're looking for the freshest milk around produced by happy, healthy cows this is the place to go. Drive up the farm's driveway to the barn and pick your favorite kind of milk and size. It's made and bottled right at the farm. The dairy case is open most every day from morning until night. Bring the kids for a look at the cows, chickens, and ducks. There are usually eggs and in-season produce, as well as local jellies and cheeses. Do a taste test with the supermarket milk and you will never go back to the supermarket. You can really taste the quality and rich flavor. This is a cash only business. The dairy costs are slightly more than the supermarket but you'll get your money's worth for the few extra pennies. read more

I feel like an idiot. All the time I've lived out here and I've missed some of the best local food finds. This is a great little dairy farm just outside of West Chester. Amazing milk! Nice produce. Eggs!! Prices are very good. They have all kinds of farm animals well taken care of. It's very kid friendly! Very pretty area! They have homemade Soft-serve custard on Friday, Saturday and it's amazing! Family owned and run. They could not be nicer. I will be here every week from now on. read more

My children and I love this place. The dairy products are A++++++. But the animals make the experience one of a kind. My oldest ( 19) and youngest (3) fell in love with the baby goats. We held them and played with them. We are heading back today since I am out of milk and eggs but first we will hit the store for carrots and apples for our new friends! read more

Fun way to spend part of an afternoon with younger kids! We came on a weekday and had the place to ourselves. Sampled ice cream and chocolate milk (yum) while resting in a shaded and breezy gazebo with a beautiful view. It is a cash only system as others have mentioned, although atm on-site. We wandered around letting our preschooler check out the animals and tractor, which he loved. read more

We are spolied rotten here in Chester County. Baily's is a little farm on a bck road that lets the public come in and buy milk, eggs, cheese, ice cream all straight from the source. The taste is incomparable to that you would buy in the supermarket. This is convenient, well priced and runs by the honor system. Seriously there is a cashbox and a ledger. You write down what you got add it up and make your own change in the changebox. Simple, wonderful and the money goes right to the provider. Love this place. read more

I had my daughter's birthday party here this evening and it was amazing. They do everything: food, cupcakes, piñata, gift bags. I barely had to do anything. They educated all of the kids about the animals and got to feed the babies milk etc. It was perfect! read more

My son's friend had a birthday party here in November. He loves farms and cows so we were looking forward to it. We also had a chance to see the farmer milk a cow, which when you are 3 is AWE.SOME. And the party barn was set up nicely. However, I did mention that this was in November, and the party barn had no climate control unless you count the space heater in the corner. The farm-made ice cream would have been much better had we been able to take off our coats to eat it indoors. At the end of the party I stopped into the shop and was excited to buy some local eggs, dairy and other food products. I was less excited when the cashier told me the place was cash-only (a phenomenon that, in 2014, baffles me). I had to put back everything except a gallon of milk since that's how much cash I had. With the ability to accept credit cards Baily's could have had more of my money! read more

Was disappointed went to the store and they didn't have their ice cream - Yoders brand was in the freezer. Chocolate milk was gone. Maybe I hit a bad time? I heard their ice cream was good so maybe they use Yoders as their own? I can get Yoders anytime I was hoping for to try their own real dairy fresh ice cream. Didn't see anyone to ask I guess they were open since the door was unlocked.
