They also has imported British chocolate sweets and treats. As usual I do have problem deciding on what to get: As I could not just stay give me one of each. I ended up picking up a piece of Rum Truffle and Dark Chocolate Covered Ginger. I could not comment on how the Rum Truffle as my friend just put it in his mouth and started making nom nom noises. I do wish more ginger has a sharper taste. Aside from sweet, Debora's also carries Kawartha's Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt, perfect for the hot summer days!

I am so happy that we did because the pistachio gelato I ordered and the cookies and creme my boyfriend had were amazing! The consistency was perfect; smooth and creamy! The flavor was spot on, tasted great and came with a complimentary waffle slice! There were two women working while I went in and they were very pleasant, helped us out and let us try as many flavors of gelato that we wanted. The shop itself is small and quaint, with lots of sweet options. What caught my eye were the salt water taffy in many odd flavors such as maple bacon. Unfortunately I didn't grab any, I am still regretting that but there is always next time because I will be back!

Tucked alongside the Belfountain Conservation Area, the Belfountain General Store presents itself…read moreas the kind of fortuitous discovery that rewards those willing to venture beyond the city's reach. Visitors arriving after a ramble through the trails will find in this charming little shop a restorative warmth that feels genuinely earned. The beverage program is the undisputed highlight. A gingerbread latte of notable finesse and a hot chocolate of real depth stand as worthy companions to the surrounding landscape, while a seasonal apple cider rounds out an offering that far exceeds what one might expect from a rural general store. Light bites, from freshly prepared sandwiches to golden-topped muffins and a butternut squash soup of quiet authority, provide satisfying sustenance without pretension. Beyond the kitchen, the store distinguishes itself through a thoughtfully curated selection of goods: locally sourced teas, natural skincare products, and wares from small and BIPOC artisans lend the space a purposeful identity that is both admirable and rare. The atmosphere throughout is one of easy conviviality, the interior inviting guests to linger over their cups rather than rush back to the trailhead. Service, delivered with evident warmth, can be unhurried during peak hours, and those with a sandwich order in mind would do well to allow for the pace. Yet this is a minor concession in the context of an experience that is, on the whole, quietly exceptional. A sincere and spirited stop.

Great location and customer service…read more Scones: Decent. A little sweet (which I like), served with whipped cream and strawberry jam. Fruit: The fruit was the best part of all our meals here. It was so fresh and sweet, which I thought would be difficult to find outside of California! I also enjoyed it with cottage cheese, which is not so common at breakfast spots in California unfortunately. Tea: The tea is enjoyable but pretty average when compared to bougier tea spots like The Bruce in Stratford. It's not clear how long I should let it steep for for optimal flavor. I preferred the Winter Dream green tea, which was warm and cozy, slightly sweet. I also preferred the McCrae over the Boathouse blend. The Boathouse blend was a little basic for me, and the McCrae had a slight sweetness that I enjoyed. High Tea: Average - a good price and pleasant experience, especially if the weather is nice enough to eat outside (and catch a bald eagle flying by!). My favorite dessert was the carrot cake cupcake. Ice Cream: Yes, ice cream and tea is definitely a good idea! The banana cream pie tastes like your classic Runts banana flavor (the original banana that got wiped out) and the black cherry has plenty of big cherry pieces. Great servings, and we loved that they served them in reusable bowls instead of disposable ones. Would definitely come again!

If you follow the route, it leads to another bigger parking lot. Parking is free! Reservations are highly recommended. My guest and I made a reservation for two for 1:30pm. It was very busy when we walked in. We got a table right by the door. There were artwork and paintings hung all around the cafe - it was cute. I ordered an afternoon tea set, as well as an extra breakfast burrito for my guest and I to share. There is a tea menu to look at all the various options they have. It was nice to see that they had many options to choose. Our set came with mini sandwiches, scones and dessert and fruits. I would definitely come back to visit - it would be nice to come in the summer and book a table out on their patio.
