This is the second time I have used bailey towing company. I called because I car broke down on the 285. Georgia answered the phone and was very personable and understanding of my situation. She sent out a driver and updated me on how long it would take for a driver to get to my location. Bob loaded my car and let me ride in the tow truck to the auto body shop. My truck broke down right outside of Bailey Co. on the Saturday before Memorial day. I called AAA and Baileys Towing picked up the call. Georgia was very sympathetic to my situation and told me she would send a driver as soon as one was available. She called me back a little while later to tell me they called a driver in on his day off, so I could expect the truck to arrive in about 30 minutes. Earl showed up about 30 minutes later and towed my truck to my mechanics garage in Denver. Baileys Towing made my bad situation tolerable and I would recommend them to anyone who finds themselves in need of their type of service. read more

I didn't rate the value, since I pay AAA the $200+ a year for premium service, including towing me (usually more than once per calendar year!) the more than 30+ miles to my mechanic from my home or workplace. Bob and his wife (the owners) are a genuinely nice and understanding couple whom I know personally (we both take our dogs to the same Conifer-area dog park for exercise). I have three (older) cars, only one of which at any one time are in good working order. Bailey has saved my bacon more than once over these years that I've lived in the rural Colorado mountains up here at 8750 feet of altitude. Thanks Bob & co. read more

Friendly, competent, wonderful people. They got us out of a bad, bad situation last night. Prices might be a bit more than other companies but these guys know what they're doing. Showed up with two jeeps & a tow truck & got us turned around on a very snowy road (that should have had a "closed" sign on it. Apparently there was a locked gate at the top). They were definitely prepared & knowledgeable. I guess they don't typically make night runs but we are incredibly thankful they did last night. Thank you again, fellas (& woman). Last night after a bit of snowshoeing on the Colorado Trail off of Kenosha Pass, my sweetheart and I decided that we wanted a burger. I suggested we stop off over in Idaho Springs and chose to go the route of Guanella Pass via the shortcut off of 285 near Grant. We began our journey and encountered some deep snow the further up we traveled (I know I know dumba** mistake as the pass and the road leading up the pass has no winter maintenance and seeing as we received a fair bit of snow in Colorado already, very few vehicles even 4x4s would make it.....). Well we got stuck, and after a bit of digging we finally trekked down the road and by the graces of God and a great samaritan, were able to get a hold of Bailey Towing. The crew made a special trip out for us during the night which we were told they don't normally do and they were PHENOMENAL. The crew that showed up was very well equipped, knowledgeable, and provided utmost confidence while also being jovial and not making us feel as if we put them out. They were able to wench us out of the snow with two Jeep Wranglers that were tricked out for the conditions and also brought a flat bed tow truck just in case that was needed. Talk about covering all bases. While it was an expensive lesson to learn it was money well spent as these guys are total professionals and truly if they can't get you out of the predicament, I doubt anybody would be able to! Your employee Luke got shitty with me then BEAT on my car. I understand safety is important but I can't be expected to understand he closed the road a turn back, if he has his truck is parked on the side of the road, instead of using his brain and using the TRUCK to block the road. Bill and his team at Bailey Towing Service are outstanding. We were on a cross country trip in an older RV when our transmission started slipping and smoking on our way up Kenosha Pass. I called at least a dozen tow companies, most of which didn't have the equipment to tow a 28' RV. Bailey Towing was recommended by a number of the companies who couldn't handle my rig. I called the office, who redirected me to the owner, Bill. Bill was up front, honest and treated me like family. The pricing was beyond fair. I would highly recommend Bailey Towing Service, and will use them again if we ever have problems in the area again. read more

Horrible customer service. I only gave them a "1 star" because "0" wasn't an option. I needed a tow this morning and AAA dispatched a call to Bailey Towing at (6:00am). They accepted the call and gave an estimated arrive time 1.25 hours (7:15am) This was reasonable do to the declining weather. I received a call at 7am from Betty (I believe this was her name) telling me someone would not be arriving until after 8am sometime. I told her that was unacceptable as I was told 7:15am and asked why another 1+ hour. She stated yes I accepted the call, but there's only 3 of us and we have to warm up a truck, we were on an accident until 2am and "do you know how hard it is to load a car in the dark?" First of all, this is the business that YOU chose to go into. I am the customer and I don't really care to hear your "sob" story. If you knew well enough that you weren't going to show up for over 2 hours, why not disclose that in the beginning or decline the call in the first place? You clearly do not care about the customer and only care about what's best for you. The beauty of owning your own company is that you can choose to accept or decline a customer, I know, we own a small business. However, when you accept a job or call you need to keep your word. What's not okay is to mislead customers. To make a bad situation worse, Betty tells me "we will do our best to be there close to 30 minutes", only to find out she contacted AAA and canceled the call. She didn't have the decency to personally call me back to tell me. What a COWARD!! AAA then had to scramble to find another company to help me. I highly recommend T&C Towing. You clearly are in the wrong line of work. You need to find something that doesn't require any customer contact, because you are so awful at it. Or you really need to look into taking effective communication courses to learn how to communicate with customers. After all, most businesses understand the importance of customer service and how damaging bad reviews can be. You had multiple opportunities to make this right, but chose not to. I rarely post negative reviews, however this experience needed to be public to forewarn others. Of course I don't really think any of the "3" of you at Bailey Towing care, based on the other reviews I have read. I can tell you, I will do my BEST to have AAA remove you from their preferred list. Shame on YOU, you coward. read more

My husband and I will never use them again after one of their drivers turned left onto Hwy 285 cutting me off and nearly caused an accident. I would have taken a picture of the license plate to send to the police if my cell phone hadn't fallen out of my purse after I had to slam on my brakes. read more

These guys are a bunch of thieves, don't use them at all. They charge too much and hang around like vultures in the local diner at the same table eating nothing but taking up space and drinking coffee for free. Then they pounce. I know for a fact that some of their drivers bring cars they've towed back to their own homes because they are impounded and the rightful owner can't pay. Thus, thieves. read more

Bailey Towing charged $930 for a tow of 18 mi. My car had a blue book price of $1,000; the owner required the title of my car and $100 cash or threatened to keep my vehicle and continue to charge me a $30/day storage fee. I asked why was he charging me $5/mi when the max allowed charge according to the law for non-consenual tow is $154 plus mileage (and he charged me for 52 miles for a 18 mile tow). I presented him with copies of the law which I downloaded from the Dept of Regulatory Agencies/Public Utilities Commission and he denied knowing who DORA or the PUC was and that he could charge whatever he d**n well pleases. I was coerced to give up my vehicle and the add'l cash or face even more outrageous charges. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the PUC. Hopefully someone will take note of this injustice and prevent this towing company from taking advantage of more customers.
