Fast, affordable, and good place to get nails done! Best quality work for very very good price. Gel mani/pedi is ~45 I think? so ~$50 with tip and reg mani/pedi is ~$40. Their pedicure service is superb! They also take credit cards. Just make sure you ask them to charge you extra for tips :) read more

Very happy with my mani and pedi. The ladies here are so sweet and do an amazing job. Have been multiple times and never been disappointed. Thank you! read more

I was a drop in while visiting the area and what a treat! Best manicure I've ever had. The woman's service and attention to detail was fantastic. Great prices. read more

I've been coming here for three years every two weeks for gel manicures. Jenny is terrific and always accommodating with appointments. Plus their prices are so fair. Highly recommend. read more

The lady that took me in for repair of my french manicure fit me in to her schedule. I was scheduled at 5:30pm and she took me in at 6pm or so. I was not happy she 'squeezed' me in so she rushed and cut me with her tools. She did not say anything and I saw my finger bleed. I didn't even bother saying anything because I didn't want to agitate her to further injure me. I was bracing myself the entire time hoping she wouldn't cut me again which thankfully she didn't. She did a crappy job repairing my french manicure and I know she was trying to put the gel on my finger and scraped it since it would take too long. So she instead put some nail polish or something to make them shiny but not repair anything. I am totally not satisfied with the job and felt rushed through. Very sad and wondering about the raving reviews. Any nail stylist that causes me to bleed I am definitely running away from. To top it off she didn't even apologize..WTF? read more

Frank is the greatest barber ever. I don't get haircuts too often, so once I moved to SF from MV I find myself coming to this place for most of them anyway whenever I'm on an errand in South Bay. You get the quality of the "independent" SF barbers, minus all the BS and lines, plus the appointment time, for the price of SuperCuts. Frank is the man! read more

While on work travel I had a nail emergency. I looked on Yelp and found this salon. I am happy to say the reviews were right and I was not disappointed. In fact the whole experience was terrific from walking in the door to paying for service. The price was more than reasonable for the work I had done and the outcome was perfect. I will definitely visit again when next in the area. read more

I was referred to this place by a good friend. Frank is the guy that cuts hair. He is super nice and friendly. Seems very hardworking and it's not too difficult to get an appointment. It took a few cuts to get it right but now I'm a regular. He just increased his price from $10 - $12 but rightfully so. It's still a great deal for male cut. read more

Pedi was okay. Ask for a full set of gel nails and just got polish that has now 70% chipped off and looks Horrible only after having them done 3 days ago. There is no price or list of services anyplace that I sow. I will not be going back. read more

All the reviews here are about nails, nothing about hair. Frank is the hairdresser that I go all the time, have been going for the past 10 yeas, he is the best. Very careful, stylish. Thank you Frank! read more

This review is for Jenny, who does my shellac manicures. She does a beautiful job and is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable. At this writing, shellac is $20, or $25 for French tips. read more

I went for my first time there to get mani-pedi. I was very impressed with this place! Quality, service and stuff were great! The price $30 bucks is awesome. Highly recommend and definitely going back!! read more

Great foot massage, got me in right away, very nice technician, great job on the nails. Standard pricing for the area $25 for simple pedi. This will be my regular place now read more

Jenny is a charming lady and she did a wonderful job! Perfect French shellac ($25), very neat OPI pedi ( $20) - excellent quality for a fair price (+$10 tip). The place is nice and clean. The best nail salon in Mountain View! read more

Love this place! I work in Mountain View and so this is perfect for me - but I would happily drive here even if I didn't. I have tried my share of bargain to moderate nail places from Palo Alto and on down through South San Jose - I can honestly say that this place has the best quality for the price. Great attention to detail and great price - Jenny is amazing. Great steal! read more

My grandma always told me to find a good barber and stick with him. After trying various places around Mountain View I stumbled upon Frank one day. He's awesome. He's been cutting my hair for about 2 years now and has even cut my daughter's hair. I don't get my nails done because I'm a man and that's girly. Maybe I should try it. So two words. Frank. Awesome. That is all. read more

The staff is always friendly and polite, and I've always been satisfied with my pedicures. The facilities are clean and pleasant, and they have a decent selection of nail colors. They do good, basic work at a reasonable price, and that's really all I'm looking for. read more

Can't say it is as good as it gets, because I've only tried this place - but they do such a good job, and I am a happy returning customer. Big smiles, a huge variety of colors and just $30 for beautiful mani+pedi, and 10$ for eyebrows. read more

Absolutely love this place! Went for a mani pedi and they have great massaging chairs and a very friendly staff. They took their time, even though they were busy. I was also impressed with the cleanliness at the salon. I have tried a few nail places in the area and this is by far the best and I will be going back here. Plus you can't beat their prices. :) read more

Stopped by here for a business trip and was really happy with the service. Very good job and efficient!

I gave a one star before due to being burned during a lip wax. That said their pedicures and manicures are consistently good and for a good price so I'll bump up their rating. Recently I gave it another shot with the waxing (am I crazy? Yes) and while no burning, it was just a bit uncomfortably seeing a waxing pot that didn't look too clean. Mani pedi yes, waxes, prob not. read more

great place, but you should always make an appt. super cheap too! Cost me $40 to get a full pedi AND the shellac on my nails. I'm usually paying $40 just for the shellac alone. The only reason I took off a star is because they don't have a whole lot of selection in color for the Shellac. other than that, it's all good!! read more

$20 for a great shellac manicure! Also I was a walk in on a Saturday afternoon and they took me with no wait even though there were 4-5 people there. read more

Came in here with a friend for a pedicure/eyebrow waxing treat. Overall a great experience. $20 for each pedicure. $10 for eyebrow waxing. The ladies were nice and friendly. Got a massage, hot rocks, etc. Definitely coming back! read more

I had a french manicure for $25 ($20 for one colour) pedi was the same price, they were ok, 10 minutes took the lady to do my mani which I find quiet quick! I didn't even get a hands massage! not to mention that they don't even have a prices list so probably they charge depending on how you look (my guess). Then she "straight" (blow and dry) my hair, which I found terrible! I think I do a better job with my straightener! so I think if you are going for a mani or pedi is ok but I wouldn't recommend for anything to do with your hair. read more

Ok. My first visit to this nail salon was not the best. I came in wanting acrylic nails and received a shellac manicure. (language barrier.) At the time, I was upset, but as the saying goes, sometimes we don't know the reasons things happen until they do and we see the consequences. I LOVE THEIR SHELLAC MANICURES! I LOVE THE NAIL TECHNICIANS. The owners are a Husband & wife team and they make you feel like you are at home while you are in the salon. Jenny is my favorite shellac technician - she is like a speeding bullet fast and ALWAYS does a great, well better than great, Awesome manicures! Her husband Frank cut my sons hair before my daughter's wedding (he was in town visiting from LA) and my son loved his hair. (And keep in mind my son is very picky about who touches his hair.) The prices are unbeatable. I would recommend this salon to anyone and everyone. Besides my first visit (which turned out to be a Godsend) I have had A++ experience every time I leave my appointment! The women who work there are so nice and sweet, the salon is clean and I will continue the next year getting my nails done every two weeks at Mountain View Hair & Nails. read more

I was so excited to get my mani/pedi done at this salon after reading the great reviews. I really am not difficult to please, but I was extremely disappointed on so many levels. They weren't that busy but for some reason they seemed very rushed. As I was choosing my colors I could feel them staring at me as if I was taking forever so I just chose something quickly and sat down in the pedicure chair. My second complaint is that I had to hold up one arm across my body because she wasn't willing to sit on the side she was working on. It was the most uncomfortable and awkward experience trying to hold up my arm while she man handled my hands and trying to position it to her liking. She asked me to relax my fingers and I didn't know what to say..."um...I'm trying to hold up my arm so it's really hard to relax my fingers."She could care less and didn't try to remedy the problem by simply moving to the other side or maybe even giving me a pillow? Their chairs are also very dirty and outdated and have no cushion. The pedicure was decent. The manicure was the worst I've ever had I wish I just did it myself. She nicked me in a few places, barely any cuticle care, air bubbles, dents, and uneven polish. Both mani and pedi were chipping after 3 days. I feel really bad leaving this kind of review, but this was a pretty bad experience. I'm thinking maybe I just got unlucky with the person doing my manicure because 2 other girls getting a manicure seemed content. read more

First time here and I loved it!! $40 for a shellac manicure + pedicure is hard to beat! The manicurists are very sweet and the shop has a good vibe. Although there are lots of customers, there is almost no wait. Two thumbs up! read more

Hi Everyone! they moved to Baily Park next to the Safeway on Shoreline. They have better parking, and a great space with new chairs and equipment. Same phone number. Call Jenny and Frank! read more

I love this shop. The women there are wonderful, service is great and you can't beat the price. You know how much you are going to spend, no hidden charges like other nail salons in the area. Jenny & Linda are gems. They listen to what you want, have never been disappointed. Love the massages on legs & arms. Won't go anywhere else. read more

I've been to quite a few places to get a haircut here in the valley, but once I found Frank (about 12 years ago), I haven't wanted to go anywhere else. I don't know how he does it, but I don't look like a dork afterwards. In fact, when my wife over several times didn't even notice I had gotten a haircut, I knew I had found the right guy. And it's not that he doesn't take off much. He is taking off a good amount, but he knows how to do it with a natural look to it. He's got great attention to detail, and is very efficient, professional, and kind. Somehow he's managed to keep his price very low even though he's in a great location next to Castro Street. read more

Not sure why this place has such great reviews... I got a pedicure and I could've done a better job myself. The lady got nail polish on my feet and toes. I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that's not where nail polish belongs. Not to mention the missing nail polish on the corners of a couple nails... And a foot massage with gloves? No thanks. Will not be going back. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would - worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. They had overbooked 4 people to 2 staff members and were frantically running back and forth between clients. You could tell they were stressed and were therefore working very fast doing an extremely poor job. My two girlfriends and I had planned to get polish done but half way through had changed our minds to simply get our nails shaped because of the terrible job they were doing. The main guy did not even cut my nails and barely filed them. He cut the cuticles extremely quickly making it quite a painful experience. Once I got to the front he made me pay FULL PRICE for doing the absolute worst touch up job I have ever experienced. I hope no one ever has to experience what I went through today so here I am writing this review!! read more
