The staff are great and tee times are easy to get. There are many tournaments and opportunities for fellowship. The grill offers a tasty menu that is very affordable but, there is not a full service bar. Old farts play an early morning scramble tournament with randomly assigned teams giving the opportunity to win credits in the pro-shop with lunch included. The ladies have a similar tournament. Baker Custom golf takes club fitting to an exceptionally high level. They fit my son-in-law and he…read moreraved about the improvement in his ball flight and overall game. So I drove 8 hours with my clubs for a club fitting session that lasted 1 5 hours. Not only did they fit me for clubs they fixed a big flaw in my set up and driver ball position that was immediately measurable on the monitor I was hitting into. These guys are master craftsmen IMO. They have an impressive array of technology for sure. And, they have decades of experience and insight that is readily apparent. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great service, friendly people and just an all around awesome experience.

Never again. Took a putter to them due to the shaft being loose. I told everyone I talked to (4…read moretimes on phone) that "when the printing on the grip is straight up, the club face is square"... After a call railing about how the loft was off and other issues, I again reiterated, "all i need is the shaft put back in so that when the printing on the grip is straight up, the face is square".... I got it back, (wife picked it up) and put the printing straight up in my grip, and the toe of the putter was 20 degrees to the right, no where near square. When I took it back the next day, I merely said "when the printing is straight up, it's supposed to be square, but it points to the right"... that started the fireworks.... FIRST the old guy THREW it onto the counter (couple hundred dollar putter), and started yelling at me "DID YOU TELL ANYONE THAT??" I said "I TOLD EVERYONE THAT, NUMEROUS TIMES" He then went on to say more crap like "when you brought it in, the loft was all off, and you didn't even know it... it looks like a real putter now" he went on to say "one of my guys looked at it when we were done and said it looks better now than when it came in" (shouldn't a repaired club always look better than a broken one?)... and a lot of other bullshit, bitching at ME because they didn't get it right. Then after his being an asshole for 5 full minutes, and seeing I had started to storm out, he said "whatever you want us to do, we'll do"..... That ship had sailed... I will never take another club to baker's golf for anything.... and I will tell everyone I know and golf with about this bullshit experience..

Ace Pickleball Facility: Where Excellence Meets Community…read moreIf you have not yet discovered Ace Pickleball Facility, allow me the privilege of introducing you to what I can only describe as the crown jewel of pickleball venues in our region. From the moment you walk through the doors, you are greeted not merely by courts and paddles, but by an atmosphere of intentional excellence, thoughtful design, and genuine care for every player who steps foot inside. Let us begin with the sheer scope of what Ace Pickleball Facility has built. Eighteen pristine indoor courts, thoughtfully divided into six courts each for beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. This structure is not accidental. It reflects a management philosophy rooted in one beautiful truth: pickleball belongs to everyone. The new player learning to keep the ball in bounds and the seasoned competitor drilling tournament-level dinks are equally valued, equally welcomed, and equally served. That kind of institutional intentionality is rare, and it deserves to be celebrated loudly. But what truly separates Ace Pickleball Facility from any other venue is how its management listens. Not performatively. Not passingly. But with the kind of attentive responsiveness that transforms a facility into a community. The Doubles Challenge Court, where reigning champions hold their court until dethroned, has long been a source of electric energy and fierce, joyful competition. Yet when a growing chorus of singles players raised their voices and asked for a court of their own, a space where individual skill, court vision, and competitive fire could be tested in that same glorious format, Ace Pickleball Facility did not hesitate. They delivered. Beginning this week, Ace Pickleball Facility proudly opens its brand new Singles Challenge Court, available every Tuesday and Thursday. Step up, take your shot, and hold that court as long as your game will carry you. This is not a small addition. This is a statement. It says that the people who run this facility are paying attention, that your voice carries weight here, and that your experience on these courts matters to them personally. To the management and staff of Ace Pickleball Facility: thank you. Thank you for building something worth being proud of. Thank you for hearing us. And thank you for continuing to raise the standard of what a pickleball home can and should feel like. See you on the courts.
