It's old enough to have a family, a career, a mortgage... Uhh. Time for a replacement. After speaking to 7 companies and getting 3 quotes, I landed on Nick's company. Almost immediately after reaching out, he was asking questions, requesting pictures, and really trying to get an idea of my space. He was kind, thoughtful, and extremely communicative. Unlike one company I dealt with, he was also open to giving me multiple options. There were no pushy sales tactics. He definitely isn't a salesman, he's an installer. Replacing your entire HVAC system is not cheap, and honestly, it is intimidating if you don't know a darn thing about SEER ratings and tonnage. I can research just about anything, so I really appreciated being given the information and having the opportunity to take it back and analyze it for myself and compare. The entire install went great, the team was courteous, respectful and seem to work well with Nick! They were joking around like old friends while working their tails off getting the install done. FYI he is not located on long Island any more, but that doesn't stop him from providing excellent service. He is on the island all the time. We're extremely happy with everything so far and we couldn't have picked a nicer person to do it with. Ps: if you need further proof that he's an all around great guy, he loves animals, too!!

Our AC stopped working during the start of a heatwave, and Kyle was able to get out to us quickly. He was absolutely fantastic--friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. That kind of transparency and integrity is rare these days, and it's exactly why I'll be calling them again for any future HVAC needs. Unfortunately, the customer service we received was incredibly disappointing. The representative I spoke with stated that she was the owner, yet she was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the conversation. When I pointed out that she was being rude, rather than trying to resolve the issue or offer assistance, she hung up on me. When your air conditioning is down, especially during the summer, you expect the company that installed your system to stand behind their work and treat customers with respect. Instead, we were met with hostility and a complete lack of professionalism. If the person representing the company--and identifying herself as the owner--treats customers this way, it says a lot about how the business operates. Hanging up on a customer is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company and will be taking my business elsewhere. Since we were unable to get help from the company that installed our system, we were forced to pay another HVAC company to assess the issue. Their technician found melted, burnt electrical wiring in the system and due to the high heat the screw welded to the metal. We are fortunate our house did not burn down.

From the initial service call through the follow-up, everyone was professional, responsive and extremely helpful. We were dealing with an unexpected A/C failure that appeared to be related to recent lightning and storm activity in the area. The technician (and team) took the time to explain what he was seeing, discussed the likely cause with us, and helped us understand our options. Our particular unit is no longer manufactured and replacement parts can be difficult to find. Rather than simply recommending that we replace the entire system, Aaron's AC took the time to locate a compatible condenser that would work with our existing equipment. That effort allowed us to address the problem without having to undertake a much more extensive and costly full-system replacement. Once the solution was identified, the team handled everything extremely quickly and professionally.
