I have also been to two other Sittoo's around Cleveland and appreciate how convenient they are. The staff is friendly (although there were only two people working and it got pretty busy), the prices are reasonable, and the food is pretty decent although I do prefer other Mediterranean places to Sittoo's. Today I got the business lunch special ($7.95) which is a plate of a variety of meats, rice, salad, and a piece of pita bread. Pretty basic fare and nothing too spectacular when it comes to taste but it is a good price and can be healthy if you don't put too much sauce all over it. I do wish it came with pickled vegetables though!!! I also got a side order of fries that are basic fries but are elevated with za'atar seasoning. Only one size of fries are available, unfortunately, which I hope they will change in the future. I just wanted a kid's portion of fries to satiate my craving but ruined my diet (my own fault haha) by having to be brave and chow down on lots of fries for $4.25. My total was $12.20 and took about 8 minutes to be ready before I drove back to my office and enjoyed my lunch at my desk. As it was ordered to-go, it was packaged well and contained plastic silverware and napkins. Overall, Sittoo's is a nice local chain and I am happy to have one near my office.

Thanks to their Tuesday special where chicken pitas were 2 dollars off, I got a chicken pita with light tzaziki and a side order of fries for $13.08. Pretty good price there (even though I am trying to spend less of food... whoops!). I also want to mention how NICE the staff was! They were patient with me, said thank you and have a good day a few times, and packaged up my to go order very nicely! My walk in carryout order was ready about 3 minutes after I made it too! The fries are basic but good. Very hot! Could have used some seasoning though. I added some of my own before chowing down when I got back to the office. The chicken gyro was also good - the cut veggies were fresh, the chicken was tender, and the tzaziki was light, per my request. I am glad it was $2 off as I think the normal price of $9.29 just for the sandwich is too high. Overall, I am glad I chose to go here but stick to ordering off the lunch specials. The regular prices are too much. This small space was very busy with families so I am not worried about them staying in business haha! 4.25 stars.

Today we are talking wraps and smoothies, and the place that does it best is Nectar. What is sad is…read morethat most Akronites have no idea this jem resides just a few miles south in the little burb of Green. I haven't tried everything but I haven't tried anything that I would not order again. The "Totally Turkey" is the wrap that sold me on this place and I could not wait to return and indulge myself with another. This wrap is overstuffed with turkey, bacon, red onion, avocado, tomato, spinach, bacon dressing, & pesto. Yes I know... bacon twice! This is where turkeys dream of going 11 months out of the year. Speaking of dreams.... "California Dreamin" is next on my list to talk about. I am not a foo foo kinda guy and the only reason I even tried this is because Nectar catered a local conference that I attended and I did not make it to the tray in time to get my "Totally Turkey" fix. I returned to my seat discouraged, staring at this thing that had craisins, a bunch of green stuff mixed in with a perfectly good chicken, goat cheese, pecans and what I would find out later was a Caribbean-mango dressing. THIS WAS AMAZING! I now have a wrap that not only can compete with the "TT" but has become my new favorite. And just because I now have the song stuck in my head... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-aK6JnyFmk If you are on the go and want something different, how about bananas and peanut butter mixed with granola, honey and yogurt in a wrap called the "Peanut Butter Crunch"? If you need a boost to get you thru the day, this guy will stick with you till the end. It taste great and it is something the kids will eat so you do not need to stop at some fast food joint to get something for the little ones. (we split one of these between our two boys, both under the age of 5) Merry Berry, Maui Wowi, Mango Tango, Bahama Breeze,Blueberry Blaster are just a few of the almost 2 dozen varieties of smoothies they sell. I will be honest, I cannot tell most tropical fruits apart, but I know I like and I have liked all I have tried. I will not go into detail at this time but rest assured, they will have many you will like and will blow the chain smoothie shops out of the water. The only downfall is that it is primarily a carryout place. They have a couple tables but I have never seen anyone sit at them and I would feel awkward eating there with the workers looking on. In closing, stop in, take out and enjoy! http://www.nectarsmoothiecafe.com/index.html

Since it was smashed it was crispy in the edges with little to no juicy meat but that is what I expected. Actually, I've never had a smash burger (two patties) before. The burger was made as described in the menu. I wish there was more ranch sauce in the burger because I could barely taste it. The bun did an excellent job holding everything together. The taste of the bun, burger, etc was amazing. The tots had a crunchy outside and soft inside--perfect. The service was fantastic. I loved the atmosphere. The dining area to the left of the entrance is where we sat. There were two 55" (?) tvs but no sound. The seated was varied with table and booth seating in the dining area were we sat. They could accommodate for a 10 person party or party of two. A must try if you love burgers.

I asked if they could be cooked more and while the waitress said she would bring out fresh ones she did try and say it was because they were fresh cut. The fresh batch was better, but still not done enough for my liking. They weren't crispy at all just limp and greasy. I'd give this a 4.25 stars. If you read my reviews, you know that terrible car accidents happen to me after work dinners (see review on The Industry for one such example). Thankfully, dear readers, I did not have any car incidents after THIS specific work dinner. Haha! Anyway, The Bistro of Green is in a strip mall five minutes from my work office and is an institution for locals in the area - people in my group were reminiscing about coming to Bistro multiple times a month before Covid, back when they were open for lunch. The menu seems to change often. They do have a couple specials on a board outside the door that are not on their printed menu, just FYI. Our dinner took over 2 and a half hours, starting with complimentary bread and our drinks of choice. The free bread was fine. I ordered a seasonal cocktail, the Apple Cranberry Sangria, despite cocktails not having a price listed (see menu picture). I tend never to order things that do not have the price listed but the cocktail sounded too good to resist. It was yummy and very sugary and fruity, with added mint leaves that definitely brought it up a notch! Our party also split 4 appetizers: the hot peppers ($13), baked provolone ($14), calamari ($16), and flatbread ($16). As the portions are not meant to be shared between 10 people, I only had a little bit of each. I wasn't into the peppers (too mushy) but the calamari was my favorite! I could see myself ordering this as a dinner just for myself in the future. Two thirds of the hot pepper dish was ignored by the group in the end. For my main, half of which I took home as it was getting very late and my drive back home is almost an hour, I chose to get the Bistro burger (medium rare) and fries ($18). This was chosen based on cost alone - even though I really wanted a chicken or steak dish, I just could not afford them. I am only a lonely assistant, not a CEO! I debated getting one of the other sandwich options, also both $18, but the lack of pictures either on Google or Yelp made me just stick with a burger. My lack of funds kept me from being too adventurous for this dinner, sadly. Next time, I'd be down to try their fancy grilled cheese (or steak, if someone else foots the bill). The burger was good, although not amazing, and the fries were that nice mix of just oily and crispy enough. Service was okay. Things apparently got busy at the bar, so it took longer than it should have for us to get our drinks and food throughout the night. As for vibes, it was nicely decorated for Christmas, lights were dim, and Christmas music played softly in the background. No complaints here! In the end, for a sangria, burger, fries, tax, and tip (plus a 3% surcharge for using a credit card), my dinner cost me over $40. Can you imagine just how much worse the bill would have been if I hadn't gotten the cheapest thing on the menu? Next time, I will also remember to bring cash. And choose a more unique dish.

The brick building is impressive and very unique for a restaurant. As we entered, we noticed the tall ceiling and ambiance was warm and welcoming. Our waitress, Kellye, was genuinely very friendly. She was courteous and gave us a little background on the history of the place. She answered questions we had about the menu. I ordered the burger because I wanted comfort food after the last 2 days of airport food. He ordered the venison because that's not something common you find in Hawaii. I loved their Industry light lager beer. The burger itself tasted great, definitely from a nice cut of beef and not just ground beef that comes on styrofoam. I like the type of bun it came on, however, I think mine was toasted perhaps too long as it was a bit hard. The fingerling potatoes it came with were cooked perfectly - I enjoyed the crunchy bits from the skins too. His venison he ordered was cooked medium rare just as he requested. The pineapple risotto was really good, cooked well and the sauce was nice and creamy. He did not like the pineapple in it tho - didn't quite pair well with the pasta. He picked out the pineapple and finished the rest. We also shared the lobster bisque. OMG this was a total win. It had a generous amount of buttery lobster on top that melted in your mouth. The soup was amazing as well. We had no room for dessert and I actually had leftovers to take home. I couldn't eat it all. We are definitely going to come back at least one more time before our travels back home. Quite honestly, we had major difficulty choosing what plate we wanted because everything sounded delicious. I also wanted to try the beef sandwich, mushroom risotto, gnocchi and a few more plates. Thank you Kellye for the warm welcome, you made our dinner a delightful treat.

It is a unique venue, with cute patio but the busy street so close by we opted to be inside. Great to have this historic building restored to a restaurant in Green. I had the lobster gnocchi, it had a sauce of Gruyère/white cheddar, and parmesan tuile (which turned out to be a simple parm crisp that I happened to have a bag at home for salads). When the dish was brought out, it was very thick and was not real hot temperature-wise, and the presentation was underwhelming. There were 3 very small, dry pieces (like 2 inches long) of lobster sitting atop the gnocchi, no sauce on it. Seemed like packaged lobster. I ate the lobster and half of the gnocchi and brought remainder home. When I warmed it next day, I added my homemade garden tomato Italian sauce, which made it delicious! I suggest the chef offer this choice in future. For $36 I would also expect some sort of vegetable on the side, or a small salad. There was also no bread served, even though there were small bread plates (?) brought with the silverware. My friend ordered beet salad, which she liked-had golden beets vs. red. Another had halibut which is very mild, served with risotto and a lot of roasted Brussels sprouts (she requested instead of broccolini) which were good. The waitress was very nice, professional and asked a few minutes after serving if we needed anything. Service was great, had time for cocktails before dinner served and was not made to feel rushed. It was a loud and lively atmosphere by 5:45, quiet at 5pm. I liked the music playing, was modern rock that anyone could like, energized vibes. I will go back, want to try happy hour and a dessert. This restaurant has a fun/sophisticated casual ambiance for adults of all ages, especially millennials and Gen X.
