The service here by a supervisor was absolutely horrible. It's sad to say this being I have visited Bahamas bucks all over the nation, first time I had an issue. I had no one behind me in line, they had no other orders, 4 employees present, still was told it would take an hour to make snowballs! All the other locations it was no more than a 10 min wait! read more

Took way to long, we went in as soon as they opened and were the first to order. She didn't start our order until another couple came in and made theirs first after we ordered. We ended up waiting 25 minutes and was the wrong flavor. Never going back, horrible experience by far and never got a refund or credit for the incons read more

We have tried all the ice/snow places around and this one is by far our favorite. There are so many flavor options and they really don't skimp on the syrup. This is a super budget-friendly dessert spot. I love the fact that they include dogs by offering pup cups. I also really like that they offer sugar free options too. We will be back, and often, to try to make our way thru the variety of options. read more

I've had my fair share of snow cones and icees and pop Bingsu 빙수 (a Korean shaved ice) and let me tell you something... Bahama Bucks is buss'n (I'm old did I use that right?) Seriously though you need to check this place out and the staff India especially are amazing. Everyone is super friendly and the load your cup above and beyond the rim so don't expect to be able to eat and drive. The best part is the ice is so fine that it's like eating freshly powdered snow, with 1000000000000 flavor choice (I may have slightly exaggerated) but you really can't go wrong with any and will need to make trips back. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and it's a great location for large or small groups to come hangout and have fun. Stop reading if you don't want to ruin the surprise. last warning If you get one of them with pop rocks, you will be so happy to know it's not just on top... I ate all the ones on top and was sad and then BOOM POW POP there were more and just when I thought it was finished BLAMOOO more to be found. 100% recommend! read more

Today was warm in the mid-80s & we happened to be driving by Bahama Buck's shaved ice. How could we not stop? I'm like 100 years old, but popping in this place for flavored ice made me feel like a kid again. I ordered a regular Guava shaved ice, but I didn't stop there. Now don't laugh, but when Bella took my order, she showed me a list of free toppings. Again, don't laugh but I chose Chili Salt as a topping. And let me tell you, the combination of guava & chili salt is worthy of a patent. All this to say, I loved my shaved ice. My only super-picky disappointment was that the guava juice was so much less intense in the bottom half of the shaved ice. The upper half though was super intense & thus super tasty. read more

So being from Hawaii, I love shave ice and many times businesses use "shaved ice" however it's crushed ice or lame shave ice. Anyways, this place hands down is pretty cherry(amazing). It's a little denser than what I am used to however it's definitely soft and it hits the spot. I give these guys props cause although I own my own shave ice business on the go, this is my go to place. This is my second time visiting and first time at this location however the cashier was amazing to me and my 5 y/o daughter, I totally didn't get him name :( I ordered a small shave ice for my daughter; grape, sour apple, and bubble gum. When she got it she realized that she didn't really like it and was too sour, I asked him to just pour regular apple flavor on top, he asked if I wanted the whole thing remade but I said it was ok. I was impressed that he offered that to me. I ended up ordering a smoothie after I noticed all the teen aged kids drinking them, the same cashier recommended the pineapple dream, which was actually good. So good my daughter ended up stealing it from me and drank majority of it. I was a little thrown off from the pineapple chucks having some of the black part and blended but the taste was good. This place got extra points on my end as a mom cause they had a bunch of games that you could play with, even a giant connect 4. We enjoyed our mommy and daughter time today. Thanks Bahama Bucks! read more

Such a cool smoothie place!! Came here after the beach instead of stopping for fast food. MUCH better & healthier choice. Tons of smoothie options, as well as other items if a smoothie isn't what you're looking for. I had to get my boyfriend a frozen strawberry lemonade so he didn't miss out on this great find. Parking: huge lot. This location is tucked within a strip mall Atmosphere: relaxed and beach. Surf decor everywhere! read more

I wish I had one of these around 10 years ago. They have a game corner where you can pick up a board game if you are not into corn hole or hint connect four. We noticed families who brought their own card games to play, which was nice. This is a nice way to enjoy your wait for your snow rather than just standing in line. They have so many flavors, and offer a "thin sno" option (sugar free). I was so consumed with all the flavors I skipped over the princess flavor option! So you know I will be back to visit again to try that. I mixed wedding cake and raspberry thin sno option, my husband got a smoothie, and our friend ordered peach. The small option was really more of a medium, maybe even a large in my eyes. Next time I'll get the kid size. The facility is brand new, but the staff works hard to keep it clean (constantly wiping down tables and tidying up). When picking up my sno from the "ready" section, I noticed the employee working on my friends accidentally knocked hers over (she didn't noticed I saw). Without even saying anything she quickly remade it. This was really sweet, rather than her saying what happened she took initiative and resolved it quickly. read more

This was the first time I visited Bahama Buck's I walked into the Trinity location and was really surprised by the nice interior and layout of the store. If you're a fan of italian ice then coming here is a must. The open area kitchen allows customer's to view Bahama's extensive italian ice flavors and potential pairings. During my visit, I couldn't see thr tv menu well from the line and skipped a traditional italian ice and purchased a small paradise fruit cup. It's a choice of two different fruits (I chose banana/strawberry) one type of ice cream at the buttom of the cup (starwberry ice cream) one topping (I got chocolate dizzel) and an extra topping like sprinkles or sugar for a total cost of $5.34 w/ tax. The crew at Bahama Buck's took a few minutes to make my order. They only had 3 people (high school age) employees working during my Tuesday at 4pm visit. The strawberries in my fruit cup tasted frozen but the crew hand cut bananas that hang from a chain attached the ceiling above their open prep area. While waiting for my order (5 minutes or so) I observed most customers ordered something to go and more kids came in than adults. I liked what I ordered the appearance of the cup was cool with the decorative umbrella. The ice cream wasn't anything special though which is a huge deal for me as I thoroughly enjoy ice cream. I'm more of a fan of Rita's italian ice because of the smooth creamy custard they pair with thier ice's. However, Rita's doesnt come close to the amount of italian ice flavors customers can chose from at Bahama's. If you're a fan of italian ice's then you'll love Bahama Buck's. read more

I was really impressed with how friendly and informative the workers here were. She took her time telling me about the menu since I told her that it was my first time there. These icees are probably the best ones that I've had! The taste was perfectly sweet and I can't believe how big they are! Even the "baby" size is big! Definitely will be back and enjoy icees alone and maybe with kids lol ;) read more

I have been to the Bahama Buck's on Gunn Highway. They are really good and definitely worth a try. So I had to come try this one too. They are just as good and possibly better because they have a very large seating area. In case you aren't familiar with Bahama Buck's, they are a shaved ice place. But they are better than shaved ice. They grind it up so finely it's the perfect consistancy. They have a seemingly endless list of flavors too! I got Key Lime pie with the cream topping. As you can see in my picture, it looks like it came out of a commercial. One thing you cannot say about Bahama Buck's is that they don't deliver what they advertise like some "as seen on tv" commercials. Still have yet to try flex sealing a boat together so if any representative from flex seal manages to see this, message me. One thing I think they need to add though is a tree for all the umbrellas to go into like they have on Gunn. I always like sticking a small drink umbrella into a piece of nature. Let's me remind it who's boss. Anyway I would advise anyone to try this place out as they defintely have a flavor for you. Thhis review was brought to you by Flex Seal, an unknown combination of possibly illegal chemicals that can be arranged to stop leaks in surprising places. (Note: this isn't really brought to you by Flex Seal, I am just practicing.) read more

They have an overwhelmingly long list of flavors, but that's a good problem. They seriously have just about any flavor you can think of. I LOVE coconut, and they don't just have coconut syrup. I counted maybe five different coconut flavors? I have to say I'm not a fan of the ice cream they use. I think it's Blue Bell. The vanilla ice cream tastes very artificial. So if you're wanting something creamy with your shaved ice maybe opt for the tropical cream topping they offer. It's very light, but it tastes like whip cream. read more

The staff was amazing, super friendly, and helps recommend flavors when I'm not sure what I want Bahama Buck's is the ultimate tropical dessert experience! with sugar free option. Bahama Buck's is chain dessert establishment that specializes in snow-cones. The shaved ice is very smooth, very similar to fresh snow, which is Amazing because it's not the chunks of ice like you'll see at the state fair or in a slushy or something like that. I really, REALLY wanted this place to be good. Unfortunately, it was not even close to the case. I truly can't believe how rude the young woman in charge was. When my husband and I walked in, there was one person waiting on a pickup/delivery order in front of us but he was not in line; he was off to the side of the register. There were 3 employees working and not one of them acknowledged that we'd walked in and were waiting to order. Finally, after several minutes, one of them asked the young woman who was calling the shots if she could take our order - she said no. Never even looked up at me to say anything. She sent the employee away to do something else. More people enter and get in line behind us. Several more minutes pass. The girl gets finished with whatever the one in charge sent her to do. She comes back to ask AGAIN could she take our order. Again, she's told no. At least at this point she looked at me apologetically and made a motion like it would be a minute. The pickup order finally got his and headed out. The line behind us was now at least 7 people (they were a group). So we waited a few more minutes and then with still no acknowledgement from the young woman in charge, we walked out. The whole ordeal was around 15 minutes. I've worked in fast food. I know and understand how busy things can get. However, to not be acknowledged and then to be denied even ordering, TWICE, right where I could see and hear is completely ridiculous. Something needs to change at this establishment. I'm not sure if we'll give it a try again or not; this experience left a terrible taste in my mouth. read more

They had 6 employees at the time I went in and only four other people in the place. It took forever to get my order because only one employee was making the ice things. Also while things picked up during the time I was here they had only one employee working the register. I later noticed more employees but they were in the back room. I understand there are other things to get done at a place but there was more standing and avoiding work by the employees than anything else. read more

This was my first and last trip here. Too noisy, too pricey for a product with a lot of air and not much syrup. It took quite awhile to get the ice. The man after me got his order first.
