(Only doing review because it popped up on my news feed suggesting different businesses and realized I like this place) Been here several times over the last decade, Pat is Hella cool.. the lady (so sorry I can't remember her name) she is really friendly as well. Pricing is fair all the way around, anyone who says he will jew you is just salty probably because whatever they tried to bring wasn't quality or worth buying..People have to remember that its a shop, so why would a person(the owner) want to get stuck with someone else's junk that they over paid for and isnt going to be resellable? Especially if its on a loan and you're unable to keep up loan payments? NO ONE WOULD. Be realistic... I want to 'de bunkp' the hate comments/reviews I just noticed because this place is NOT sketchy at all, the people who work here are very professional and I don't care if it's at night right before they're closing or if you're the only person there. Never had any issues or any feelings of uncomfortability based on the shop's environment or whatever you want to call it.. which I can't say for all pawn shops I have been to. Anyways, go see the owner if you have (real) gold. Literally got exactly what i asked for when he asked whatbi wanted for it...oh and watches... he likes (unique/quality) watches... this is a lot longer than I had anticipated :) read more

Bag's end is the best place to get what your looking for at top quality & at the best prices. I have been going there for over 10 years. I get alot of my jewelry and electronics from there. Nana and Pat are great. read more

Always done me right in taking care of and returning my property at the end of the loan. The place looks like a pawn shop should in my mind; almost clean, items stacked high and deep everywhere you look, scanning and and finding all sorts of stuff you'd want and things you didn't know you wanted. I go to no other shop... read more

I've had a good time shopping here. I'm interested in certain used products and the staff keep a lookout for me. I've gotten some deals. Nice folks. I'll dicker a little bit. read more

Took some diamonds there to see what they may offer for them. Got it tested before hand and checked out as real diamonds by Kay jewelers. Was told by the worker that the boss said they were fake. Lol this place seems shady do not recommend. read more

Excellent service from Patrick! He is very kind, knowledgeable and fair. I will definitely coming back to buy and sell with him. They have a range of products from electronics, TVs, handbags, watches, etc. They are located on the Diamond Head side of Kalakaua Ave. right across Palama Super Market. I hope to visit them in the near future to see what new products arrive! read more

I like Patrick, the owner of the store. He was such a knowledgeable and good businessman. It was my first time selling my bags, and he gave me a reasonable price. read more

Best pawn shop on the island always gives fair prices and they always have something worth buying plus owners are amazingly nice people with exceptional customer service. Some of the items they have are iPads, Beats by Dre Designer bags like Gucci,Louis Vuitton, and Burberry read more

I have given these guys tens of thousands in advance for watches, and the day it came in , I would always get a call. Ignore the shady and negative reviews , people are just mad they couldn't sell their 20$ items or couldn't get the deal they wanted. Good people and very helpful. Don't ever judge a book by its cover, or listen to what me or anyone else has to say, go see for yourself read more

Patrick is a walking encyclopedia. Knows everything about everything. Lol. He's fair and honest.

Poor, unprofessional service. Low quality good. And dubious clientele often hang around this store playing loud music in the middle of the day. There's no such thing as a high-class pawn shop, but this one is particularly grimy. I recommend you avoid it. read more

Called same day to let them know they false advertised on their set of rims and tires I got from them, they said I could come back the next day between 1300-1900 got there at 1400 no one to be insight, terrible place do not recommend read more

Patrick is amazing. He knows his stuff, is patient and kind, and always gives you a fair deal. Unlike any pawn shop in Hawaii. If you need money or a loan, go see him. If you are looking for a good deal on jewelry, watches, name brand handbags, art work, or collectibles, or TOOLS, Bags End has all kinds of things. Check them out. I always walk out of there with a smile on my face. Maybe that's cause he is so darn good looking too! Mahalo Patrick read more

Guess Friday's ain't a good day to conduct business at opening hours. Waited till 12 noon then said F it!

best pawnshop on the island, brought my gold and other items and they paid way more then anyone else. i definitely recommend this pawnshop.

Bags End Pawn Shop . . . This is the very best pawn shop I have ever dealt with. They are not merely 100% honest, they are 1,000% honest. I have dealt with Patrick, Nanette, and Candy. ALL are first-class people. Entirely trustworthy, and many times they have gone out of their way to be honest and fair. This says a great deal for their character - the very best pawn shop in Hawai'i. Stephen Shade December 23, 2016 read more

These guys ripped off my friend majorly. Took advantage of him because he was disabled. Didn't give him his receipts and snapped at him for taking a picture of one of the receipts. Shady and no good. Bad business practices. No morals. My friend is still tripping til today on how they got away with doing that to him. Should be shut down. Terrible people with no shame. read more

Friendly service. Reasonable loan amounts. Would do business with them again. Needs a/c.

Wonderful traveling ukulele with case, knowledgeable, helpful, so glad I stopped by.

Patrick is a super cool dude that will at least work with you on whatever your buying or selling

They will do anything they can to scam you. Came in and tested jewelry all check out till they pull out a second mineral tester that shows it's "fake" lol. Big scam offered me $300 saying minerals and metal were fake. Took it to a jewelry store the same day and sold for $1000 ! Very shady! Don't recommend read more

Ive been coming here for years. Service is amazing. I highly recommend these people. The other pawn shops nearby are rip offs. Talk to Pat. He's a very respectful and honest person. Good day to all! Go Seahawks! woot woot!!! read more

Sketchy atmosphere but gotta new iPad for $100 less than new retail. Not sure worth the fear of illigit.

No aloha over here -- very sketchy atmosphere. Went to Waikiki Gold & Silver after TRYING to sell my gold here. Wouldn't even look at the items that were happily purchased by an aunty at Waikiki Gold. Felt like they thought I was someone they could rip off. Not cool. read more

The place was just nasty. Had a 200$ bag which going by the name you'd think they'd take it but nope. Not even a 20$ offer. Wasted my time parking. Basically they don't want to work with you. Scared to return. But yeah someone needs to clean the place. The stolen Louis Vuitton probably has rat holes so check it first!!! I only gave it 2 stars since there was a man who helped me park and get out on a busy street. read more

First time ever being in a Pawn Shop! But the customer service was amazing! The guy was very polite and willing to help. I came in to check on a watch that I have received and he was very kind to do so for me, also helped me change the link to make it longer. It's sad that I forgot his name but I will never forget his face. They have a great collection of pre owned name brand bags and other small leather goods. Be sure to check them out! read more

I would recommend Bag's End to anyone. Patrick and his staff are more than accommodating. I have been doing business here for years and have never had a bad experience. The customer service has always been outstanding. He has always been honest and upfront when it comes to out right sales, even if it means someone else would offer more. His prices are reasonable and he has quality inventory. He has kept his doors open even when renovating and that's admirable as well. read more
