I finally had the chance to have Brenda evaluate a diamond I have had for many years. I had found…read moreout previously from another appraiser that the diamond I had on my ring was not the same diamond stated on the receipt from a reputable jeweler. Brenda took the time to educate me about my diamond as she is a very knowledgeable and very reputable gemologist in the State. I came to find out that the diamond I actually have is better quality and valued better. She showed me different aspects of looking at a diamond and how to tell if its man made, natural, etc. I have worked in high end jewelery before but this is nothing compared to what she knows having been in the business for years (I told her she has lineage in diamonds) I would highly recommend her as an appraiser if you have jewelry. She is able to appraise a wide range of objects in addition to jewelry. She can also design custom jewelry and has wonderful ideas for uniquely detailed pieces. The transaction trade wasn't to where she was willing to work with me. I wanted to purchase more jewelry as well. But after I seen her characteristics kinda turned off by the shop. First purchase was really good. That's why I marked her 2. It was a debate between 2 and 3. It's too bad she coulda made more money. Seemed like she got a little greedy toward the end. But it's fine, hopefully if you do deal with her you can catch her on a good note. I think I will definitely deal with someone else from now on.
