I however dont recommend Bagner Law. If you are in any form of urgency. In my situation, an order was issued without any response from my counsel after a 48 hour window. My 4 year old child now travels 1 hour and 40 minutes to and fro from his school. I am really ashamed that monetary gain holds superiority to a minor childs difficulty and pain. I am left with no child support or alimony for food & groceries. I terminated this counsel before things went more south. I was told you dint hire us for divorce. I said please sent me the bill I will pay! I made all arrangements even after not being on active employment. This will be my second review for Mrs. Vonnah Bagner. I hired her again when I got served to go back to court for a child custody battle that has been going on for what seems like forever now unfortunately. Vonnah helped me the first time around and she was absolutely amazing! She is extremely caring and listens to what you have going on. I felt like at times I was getting annoying calling their office all the time but each time I did someone made sure to get back to me whether it be Carmen or Vonnah. Vonnah is extremely professional and good at what she does. She also always took time, didn't rush me and helped me when I was in at times very stressful situations. I really appreciate the help, and know she is a caring person who only wants to help people. I do believe she could improve her business in one area. Charge more and get more help. There were a couple instances things took a bit longer than expected but also saw some super fast response emails from off business hours. Vonnah I hope you take this as I think the world of you but also believe you should charge what you say. I called Vonnah at Bagner law and was able to contact her first try. I explained my case, which required filing some boilerplate paperwork, and she said she would send me a few forms to sign shortly. By the next week I had not received the paperwork so I texted her to reconfirm and re-provide her my email. It turns out she had sent my documents, containing personal identifiable information, to the wrong email. She claims the email did not go through to the wrong address but I have no way of confirming that. I decided to continue with her anyways and signed the paperwork which she had now sent to my correct email. I received no response over text or email or attempting to call her office for a month. I got someone on the other line who I assume is some sort of secretary who did not have access to case information. Finally a month later I got through to her and she told me I had only signed 2 out of 3 papers needed. She blamed me for this and I accepted the blame just to get it over with and asked her to send me the final form again. Later I looked through my emails and did not find that she had ever sent me the final form. I waited another week for the final form to come through. She never sent it. I have since retained another attorney for this case. I can only assume this case is too basic and not worth enough money for her so she has not bothered to do it? I don't really understand why, it was a really basic and bog standard form which I'm sure she could have charged a couple hundred to my legal insurance for. Seemed like free money to me. read more

I would give Ms. Bagner ZERO stars if I could but unfortunately it is not an option. I contacted her through a group legal plan for a prenuptial agreement. Our initial phone interaction was very pleasant. However, after retaining her the nightmare began. I tried multiple times to get in contact with her by email and phone to no avail for 3 weeks. She finally emailed me once requesting supporting documents and I never heard from her again. I called her office to ask if she received the documents and she was never available. The receptionist told me she doesn't answer emails either. I contacted my group legal plan who then reached out to her office. Now, within a couple hours she called me all angry and left a voicemail for me to find another attorney. Too late Vonnah you were already FIRED from my case. Shred my documents please!! read more

WARNING: if you're looking for representation for enforcing a restraining order or fighting for your child's well-being be advised to look elsewhere. I payed $3,500 & received services that I could've done myself. I wrote my declaration, provided & itemized my evidence, all she had to do was edit the document & submit it to the court. Yet, my 10 month old daughter & myself no longer have the protection in which we desperately needed, & I'm very disheartened that I entrusted a lawyer who could not communicate well nor follow through with what she claimed. I setup Zoom meetings & she cancelled, showed up to court unprepared/unaware of the critical details of my case, & didn't even submit any of my evidence to substantiate my claims of abuse/child neglect. She even advised I drop my case once we got to court, i went from having a temporary restraining order with full custody, to now having no order & sharing custody with a man I had to runaway from with my child. I've found a new lawyer who's been a lifesaver, & I've filed a complaint about Vonnah to the State Bar of California for malpractice. She intentionally didn't represent me to the best of her ability, & caused me & my daughter more financial distress & burden. After our case, she was unresponsive, didn't provide the documents in which I needed with the Judges orders, & had the nerves to refuse a refund stating she wishes me well.
