It was the first time I really used a laundry service and really thought it was great. You can drop off a big bag of laundry on one day and pick it up washed, dried and folded for you. They charge you by the weight and drop off and pick up is quick and easy too. Prices are good as well for the service provided. It is so convenient, I may think twice next time I need to do laundry and send it here instead.

Clothes clean and neatly folded. My dress shirts will not need to be ironed; they must have been quickly removed from the dryer and gently folded. All in all, no problems at all with this business. I had looked at other reviews, but probably people who write reviews are usually dissatisfied. If everything is fine, no one takes the time to write a review.

I always thought that the name was trying to give some kind of oriental effect to its title, i mean it almost sounds like a Chinese name or something but maybe Brian's suggestion of text speak before its time makes more sense! secondly the logo, its a little guy with a top hat and a monocle! he also has a little moustache and the side of his face is outlined by the monocle and it all just fits together so well! i really am ranting on about something quite insignificant but its the thing that has always stood out most to me about this dry cleaners, you know, it works in their favour though, its like a gimmick that ensures this place is always in my memory when it comes to dry cleaning needs! other than its name and logo this is a fairly standard dry cleaners doing all the usual stuff and all the awkward things like duvets and curtains and scary things like debs dresses!

There's two things I value in this type of business: efficiency and a speedy service. Excel IFSC…read morehas both these qualities and luckily it's just a couple of minutes from my place, but also close to many office buildings in the area, which makes it handy for people working here. The key cutting service is quick enough - takes about 5-10 minutes - but leaving your keys to pick up later is an option too. The dry cleaners service is excellent and it's usually done in a day or two, often ready a little before the estimated time. I once stained a light jacket with red lipstick and they assured me right away they'd remove it - and so they did. All the other pieces of clothing I left to their care were returned in a pristine state, perfectly clean and ironed. I noticed they once even went to the trouble of sewing a button that was coming loose! Bigger items, like pillows and duvets, can also be cleaned here. Besides being very reliable and attentive, the staff is good-natured too. If you're driving, there's two parking spots right outside the door where you can stop for a few minutes.

That said, bi-annually the Grafton Cleaners always do a thorough job. The Grafton Cleaners used to be based on Grafton Street, hence the name, but presumably due to the high cost of rent they moved to their current location on South William Street. They have a solid reputation, the staff are very friendly and, although they may be a smidgen more expensive than others, they always do a good job. So, four stars for consistency, quality of service and location.
