Only a 3-minute walk from the Grand Canal Hotel, and much less expensive than the hotel's laundry service. I took a bag of laundry there in the morning, and it was ready that afternoon. Clothes clean and neatly folded. My dress shirts will not need to be ironed; they must have been quickly removed from the dryer and gently folded. All in all, no problems at all with this business. Since my usual cleaners in sandyford went bust I have been on the lookout for somewhere I'm happy with, Wifey suggested I try this place since it is close to home and had a good rep. It's great, the staff are hugely helpful and they have a clubcard-esque system where you get ten euro off for every 100 spent - it's up to you to keep an eye on your total, the girl in the shop showed me a box with about 500 unclaimed vouchers, so apparently it's easy to forget! read more

Was not going to review, but after a ruined dress and subsequent waffle blaming manufacture I returned to collect it. The guy who cleans items forgot to bring the dress back to the shop. Bad memory is all the apology I got. Hopefully they haven't ruined the dress further. Joke. read more

I was very disappointed with the service offered at White Wash Laundry. Having paid up front for my dry cleaning I was provided with a receipt which I handed in upon collection. However when I arrived to pick up my dry cleaning, I was asked to pay again, as there was 'no record' of my payment. I had no choice but to pay again (in total having to pay 32 euro) to get my dress back. The only reason I accepted this was that I was in a rush and needed the dress for an upcoming wedding. The woman I spoke with was completely unsympathetic, curt, and stubborn in her attempts to get me to pay again. She blamed another staff member who was 'out of the country' (conveniently enough), making somewhat derisory comments about her place of origin, and told me to look 'at home for another receipt, love', and if I found that, then I could come back and get a refund. Given that I was not provided with a receipt (other than the one I handed in upon entry), it is unlikely I was going to magically conjure up one at home. I felt that this staff member opted to make a small bit of money in the short term, despite running the risk of losing a local paying customer in the long term. Although the item itself was fine, given the staff member's lack of business savy, coupled with a cheap dogged determination to make a quick few quid - as a matter of principle I will not be returning to White Wash. read more

The Good ~They charge you by weight of your laundry (except for sweaters - which are charged individually). So if you bring in a suitcase of dirty laundry, you take all your laundry out of the suitcase, and they weigh it and that is what you are charged. ~They are open 7 days a week! ~They fold all the laundry. What could be better ~The detergent they use, gets the clothes clean, but isn't very fragrant. read more

I went to Whitewash laundry for the first time this past weekend. Some clothes were starting to pile up as it takes so long to dry clothes in the winter! It was the first time I really used a laundry service and really thought it was great. You can drop off a big bag of laundry on one day and pick it up washed, dried and folded for you. They charge you by the weight and drop off and pick up is quick and easy too. Prices are good as well for the service provided. It is so convenient, I may think twice next time I need to do laundry and send it here instead. read more

I brought these people three pairs of trousers for wash and press. They returned them to me with oily stains all over them, which were not there before. This is due to residues in their machines, which they haven't properly cleaned. On top of which the trousers were pressed without a crease and folded sideways. For this they charged me 12 euros a pair! read more

It should be fairly simple to dry clean a suit but I guess that I am giving White Wash too much credit. My suit came back with more wrinkles in it than a bulldog puppy. Crap job for the highway robbery price of 13 EURO. Never again. Avoid at all costs! read more

Have been using this place for the past year but I've finally had enough of the rude staff and poor alterations. The last alteration fell apart after a few weeks. When I took the item back I was told that I couldn't prove it was done there and that they wouldn't fix it. When I asked them to look up my history on their computerised system I was told "it couldn't be done". The can't be arsed attitude isn't good enough if the current climate. I've taken my business down to a shop that wants in on Baggot St. It may be more of a walk but I'm happy to take it if I'll be treated like a customer rather than a criminal. That's 150 euro gone a year from me in dry cleaning etc. Suggest they employ or train better staff before more money walks..... read more

I found he White Wash Laundry was great for the reasons, i got a Really big bag wash like 5/6 pairs of Really dirty worked in levies & a great deal of other assorted clothing washed very well day the way! Had read some bad reviews, but was going to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Just in case, only brought jumpers (how badly could that be ruined?) brought a few jumpers, and of those jumpers, two came back with holes in them! These were new! Not bringing anything here again! read more

Used the wash and fold here twice while travelling for business. Great service. They use a non-scented soap, which I like because I'm sensitive to smells. And they even remembered not to dry a few things I asked them to keep aside. I'll used them every time I'm here so I don't have to bring as much stuff. read more

Can't even explain my anger at White Wash Laundry after spending a couple of hundred euros with them over the last number of months with over 160 in one go I get a rude text message telling me that I have clothes left in the Laundry that I need to pick up or else they will be donated to charity. So I ring them today to find out what these clothes are and why they weren't included in the big load we left - so basically the people in the laundry forgot to give them to us. So then after being bumped around to 4 different people the manager rings me and I start to tell her I am annoyed that the laundrette didn't give these close to me and the manager says to me 'You are annoyed, we are annoyed collect your clothes if you want and pay for them I don't want to hear it' and hung up! I am in total shock. My boyfriend was sitting beside me on the phone and he is also in shock cannot believe it! Never ever ever go there! read more

I had a very bad experience with White Wash in Dublin near Haddington Road . I brought there a special dress for a wedding and the profesional service that they applied to the dress was changing its color because they didn't check the material before cleaning it. Apart from that, the customer service was not nice neither friendly, as I had to go to the place several times to be able to contact to the manager for a solution and they were tell me to come back the day after. They seemed in a hurry and not in a keen to help me to find a solution of the service they did wrong. Finally I could spoke to the manager and he offered me a price for the dress damage, which I accepted. But I didn't got my dress in return which I don't understand as they paid the price of the dress for the damage, but at the end, the dress is mine and I didn't give it to them. I don't recommend the place and this experience to anyone, for the customer service and the resolution of the problem. Very bad experience. read more

Extortionate. 2 piece suit cost 16.70 to dryclean. The equivalent can be done for 8 in Beaumont, 9.90 in Rathmines, 12 (minus 10% loyalty) on Pearse St, 14 on Abbey St - so 16.70 is daylight robbery. The suit was clean but in no way better than any of the other places. read more

Convenient. Quick. Clean. Good Value. Same day. Friendly staff. Leave my softener for my wash so my clothes are soft and smell nice. Staff are happy to follow any instructions you may have. Dry cleaning is done to the label as is washing/drying if anything happens these garments when instructions are followed white wash will not take responsibility for these items. Stains are not 100% guaranteed to come off garments in any cleaning but they will try the best possible for the best results. read more
