I normally stop in on off-peak hours so coming in on a Saturday morning before expected snow was a different experience! I just tagged along on my daughter's order and got an everynickel. Honestly, not impressed. I've seen so many posts online about Bagel Union, so my Mom and I swung by while in the area. There's barely any tables inside and outside, and the seating is hard as a rock. Additionally, the parking situation is horrific. Their parking lot is on the corner of a very busy intersection. The service wasn't very friendly. They seemed overworked and cranky. We ordered 2 bagels, a Chicken Salad Bagel and the Delox Bagel. Both bagels were mediocre. The quality of the chicken salad and lox were fine but neither of us enjoyed the bagels very much. Went on a Sunday morning so it suddenly became packed, which was a tad anxiety-inducing with the separate counters for ordering and paying, taking a number etc. I'm not one to judge, though, because it seems to work pretty perfectly. Located right on the corner so super convenient and plenty of parking. Once you walk in there is place to take a number and the line goes super fast. I decided on the bacon egg and cheese on cinnamon raisin. Egg and bacon was cooked perfect and the jam they put on it just made it melt in your mouth. I also ordered the cherry crunch because I've never since a combo like that in a bagel and they recommend the cherry cream cheese and WOW just wow. Do your taste buds a favor and order one. I've been craving a good bagel. As well loved as our big local chain is, the bagels have been a disappointment for years. A colleague brought in Bagel Union to work a few weeks ago. I knew I had to pay them a visit. The space is hip and fast paced. They offer counter service. They offer a wide assortment of bagels, schmear, and smoked fish. They also have a fantastic selection of sandwiches. I went with the Iggy for my meal. I am already planning my next visit ti pick up another one. The sandwich boasts delicious hot smoked salmon, scallion cream cheese, chili crisp, and cilantro salad. I paired this with a weck bagel which took this sandwich to the next level. The bagel was tender on the inside with a crisp bite on the outside. The flavors of the sandwich worked perfectly together. My friend went with the D-Lox. The jambon was good - we got it on an onion bagel and added pickles. The delox was nice with the addition of fresh dill. Overall solid, but I felt like they kind of skimped on ingredients. I'm perpetually on the lookout for good bagel spots, and I'm glad to have found one in Bagel Union! I didn't get to visit the location but was lucky enough to get a number of things brought home. Although, I was told that it's a number ticket system to be called to place your order because it's so packed. I got to try the bagel chips, The Delox sans capers on an everything bagel, and another everything bagel with the cacio e Pepe schmear, prosciutto, and red peppers. The Delox was so, so good, and I loved the use of the lemon oil. I didn't love the lattermost bagel as much, but that's likely because I had it hours after it was made. The bagels were perfect texture with the slightest crunch. The amount of shmear was perfect and it didn't overshadow the rest of the toppings. The bagel chips made for excellent vessels for an extra lox I had to pick off (they did not skimp on the lox or any of the ingredients). The only critique I have of all of the products is that everything erred on the saltier end. My mouth is watering thinking of their bagels, and I'm so excited to visit and try more items on their menu. read more

When I arrived to pick up my order, I followed the instructions and went in through the parking lot door and saw the counter where the workers were at. The person who was helping me was also helping a few other people so I gave her some grace. I said I was there for a pick up order and she did help me as quick as she could, but some of the order wasn't ready yet so she told me to wait al little longer (which I did). When the order was all ready, someone else handed me the bag(s) and I was on my way. Little did I know that when I opened the bag to enjoy my bagel, my friend and I noticed that we did not have any of the pre-ordered cream cheese that we needed for our bagels. Oops! Luckily, I was only about 10 minutes away, so we drove back so that I could go back inside to ask for the cream cheese. When I got inside, I waited (again) to be acknowledged and then the person who helped me was one of the bagel maker(s) (they were assembling bagel sandwiches), so I appreciated how he did look over to ask if I needed something and they did seem very nice. When I mentioned how we did not get our cream cheese, I showed him the email with my order and he quickly got them for me and I was on my way. I guess it would be nice if there could be a true pick up counter so that for people who order ahead, we are not stuck waiting in the line. For two bagel sandwiches we paid more than $30. I was told I could sub the prosciutto for the turkey pastrami on The Rachel. When I got my $15 sandwich there was barely a sliver of prosciutto on it!
