Southern Belle
Lindsey B.

The girls at the counter are so nice and helpful. I've never been here before and they helped me pick out the best bagel for me and which bagel should go on. Their selection of sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch are quite large. I got the southern bell, and it was the perfect combination of spice with melted cheese. The only thing I would change would be the amount of meat. I don't think that there was enough sausage for how large the bagel was. I paired it with an everything bagel, and the crunchy salty ratio was just right!

Solid bagel location...probably one of the OG's. New bagel places are popping up left and right here in Charleston so I hope this one sticks around. They have a variety of breakfast and lunch bagels. I got here when they were close to closing, but the service was very fast. There is a good amount of seating, indoors and outside. although there's two locations in the Charleston area, it does not have a chain store vibe.

Great spot to grab a breakfast sandwich on the go in Charleston! I got a bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel, and it hit the spot while sitting on Folly Beach. I wish I would have added a spread or sauce, to take it to the next level. But this definitely settled my craving for a breakfast bagel sammy!

If bagels is what you are looking for this is the spot. Variety of bagels almost in every way you might think off . Breakfast, lunch , sweet of savory. Staff do greet you and are nice. The place was clean , there was outdoor indoor seating only. Ample parking space as it's like a strip mall area. Kohls and Marshall are nearby perfect for some lunch shopping area

Egglewich deluxe with ham on sun dried tomato bagel

I tried the egglewich deluxe with ham on a sun dried tomato bagel. I'd go for a different bagel next time but I enjoyed my sandwich and it filled me up on a morning when I was super hungry. The cheese is just a slice of American cheese, but it melts nice on the bagel sandwich. I went during the week on my way to work and it was quick service with friendly staff. I want to try the monte cristo bagel sandwich next time!

Mesia was the sweetest! She helped us pick our bagels and was super patient with us. The bagels were incredible we went back the next day. Their coffee bar is so good they have so many options and there's a ton of seating and outdoor options too. Cant wait to go again!

Everything! Bagels weren't that good. Place was messy and dirty. No good seating available.

Bagel nation is great for a classic bagel. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly.

Got my usual Frazzle. The top was wonderful and nice and warm. The bottom was burned. :(

Don't look up, the ceiling is disgusting and looks a million years old. But the menu is large and the food was good.

Unfortunately, I have to lower my score. Charleston Bagel used to be a go to for me every Saturday…read morebefore work. Hadn't been in a while so decided to go on my day off. Their prices have really gone up, and the quality of food just doesn't justify downtown Charleston price tags. $5.50 for a watered down "cold brew," and about $10 for a sausage egg and cheese on toast... which they up charged me $1.09 to switch it from a biscuit to toast they likely got at Aldi or Teeter After taxes this was slightly over $19. I don't see that they stock the Charleston City Paper anymore, which is something I used to look forward to reading in their worn in cozy space. I'd rather make this breakfast sandwich at home for 1/4 the price and the same quality.

Yes. They were busy on Sunday morning but there are like 10 people working the back. Bacon was barely cooked. Asiago-jalapeño bagels was almost a Thomas' bagged bagel. More stale than toasted. THE&C was good. Coffee was ok. Might have been good if it was hot. Heck even warm.... Second time here. First time not much better....wanted to give ot another chance. There will not be "third times a charm!" Two stars because the music is good and not overwhelming loud.

Charleston Bagel - Cannoli!!! Seeing that this was an option on the menu made me try out Charleston Bagel Co. This is a respectable cannoli!

It was unique with the different flavors and textures on top that came together really nicely. Almond frangipane scone- I'm not the biggest fan of dried fruit in baked goods, but otherwise thought this was tasty and would want to get a scone/biscuit without dried fruit next time. Would recommend. Cinnamon twist- Tasty! Not mind blowing, but we enjoyed and would get again. Best friend/chocolate chip cookie- Loved that it was crispy on the outside and chewy in the center part and that it used a darker chocolate. Jam sesh- This was not our favorite and we wouldn't get it again. We just didn't think all the flavors worked together. Short + Sweet- The coffee cake was maybe a little overbaked. My friend liked it more than I did, but I didn't feel like I needed to have it again. Overall it's a good place to go with a few people and try a bunch of things and hang out!
